Rose Chan Ka Wun yesterday along with mother and manager Ronnie attended the film WOMAN KNIGHT OF MIRROR LAKE's Taiwan press conference.  The Taiwan media was rather concerned about the "molestation incident" and kept asking about it.  Rose seemed to be mentally prepared and kept her long missing smile.  Was her mood still affected?  She choked up and said that she indeed was upset but would continue to work to avoid affecting others.  Luckily the company added an assistant to keep her company and hoped that the outside would be able to give her and her family more space.  She also said that even after studying Wing Chun for three years she still was more style than substance.  "When something terrifying happens, I still wasn't able to respond in time.  I would be scared!"  Rose revealed after completing work in Hengdian she will head to Yunnan for another film GUONG FAI SHUI YUET with Eric Tsang Chi Wai and Felix Wong Yat Wa.  She pointed out that on this trip she wanted to visit the MONGA locations but she did not have time.

Dante Lam Chiu Yin yesterday led Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun), Lin Peng and Bai Bing to attend THE VIRAL FACTOR (YIK JIN)'s ultimate trailer release in Beijing.  THE VIRAL FACTOR's official Mainland site was already launched.  Although the trailer was only two minutes long, it shook the venue floor.  Chairman Chou praised the trailer as very "amazing" and left everyone breathless.  At the press conference the director and the three actors kept talking about the pain of the joy of the production.  Chairman Chou admitted that Director Lam has already forced him toward madness.  He never expected that the film needed three months to shoot, which made me want to go home everyday.  Lin Peng and Bai Bing joked that good food was wherever Chairman Chou was.  Bai Bing said that while working in Jordan, Chairman Chou constantly found some unexpected restaurants.  Lin Peng pointed out that Chairman Chou in
Malaysia took everything to have Bak Kut Teh.  The director immediately complained to Chairman Chou, "Why during the shoot you didn't take me once to try authentic local food!  If we have a chance to work together again, I definitely will make your production even tougher."

Lin Peng also revealed that Chairman Chou had the nickname of "Little Pale" on the set.  Although this time Chairman Chou looked very different from what everyone was used to, his skin was tan.  She realized that Chairman Chou had some very pale places so everyone called him "Little Pale".  Chairman Chou admitted that this time his VIRAL FACTOR costume was the most "manly" in his film career.  Lin Peng also cut her hair short for this film.  Chairman Chou joked that next time she might as well shave her head.  As for Chairman Chou's rating of Lin Peng's look, Lin Peng immediately said, "He doesn't like short haired girls!"  Chairman Chou awkwardly said, "Right!  I like long haired ones."

Speaking of shooting in Jordan and Kuala Lumpur, Chairman Chou admitted that Jordan to him was like "hell".  He pointed out that he was someone who did not like restrictions, but life in Jordan was too regulated and was very different from her personality.  Thus everyday after work, he would work out with Andy On Chi Kit.  While in Jordan, his "heaven" was a Chinese restaurant, as soon as he left he seemed to have returned to "hell".

Leon Lai Ming, Andy On Chi Kit and director Daniel Lee Yan Kong two nights ago attended the film WHITE VENGEANCE (HUNG MOON YIN) premiere.  Andy's girlfriend Jennifer Tse Ting Ting and her father Patrick Tse Ying also attended in support.  The director said that when he thought about actors to play the lead Liu Bang, he immediately thought of Lai Ming.  Lai Ming also said that he has never just read the script for three hours before immediately agreeing to the role.

Lai Ming said that as a Hong Kong actor he actually had a harder and harder time finding a good script, because after inspection certain minor adjustments would be made.  This time he read the script in Mandarin and thought it flowed very smoothly, directly and simply.  He believed that the director's history background was great.  Earlier while promoting in Beijing he has already seen the film.  Will he have to work during Christmas?  Lai Ming revealed that this was the final stop of the promotion, but he still did not know whether he will have to work.  He would like to work hard on his concert rehearsal the most.

Speaking of Andy Lau Tak Wa's online good news announcement, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa after her concert also made a similar hint.  Lai Ming said with surprise, "Huh!  Really?  I only know about Wa Jai, but this is good news and is worth congratulating, whether it is Chin Wa or Wa Jai.  (When can we congratulate you?)  Don't say I am using the golden quote again, I really have to quote Wa Jai's, be nice!"  Reporters said that he might as well be nicer.  Lai Ming seemed to hint, "I really can't answer you, first China has some tradition that it's not talked about before three months.  This minute I am not, but when I am I naturally will tell everyone.  If planning these personal matter changed the promotion and focus, then to me personally it's very hard to keep being nice.  Let me be bad for once!"

Ting Ting and Andy held hands when they arrived, but when reporters interviewed them, Ting Ting had to hold the microphone for Andy.  She explained that earlier when Andy was washing dishes he used too much force and broke a cup.  Finally his right hand needed seven stitches.  Due to the distance between stitches, it became very long.  Did her heart ache?  Ting Ting looked worried and said, "Sure, when I got home I still saw the blood all over the floor.  (Would you cook to cheer him up?)  He probably won't be able to do the dishes for ten days."

Reportedly Lucas skipped school again to fly to Shanghai with Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi.  Ting Ting said that she had no idea, perhaps Christmas break started early.  She also said that she has not seen her nephew for a long time but would not try to get an understanding.  In addition, speaking of all the good news in show business, when will it be their turn?  Ting Ting looked lovingly at Andy and said, "He said he wanted to see it would truly be the end of the world, because if the world ended after they got married he would be very disappointed.  He even set a date with Papa to see whether December 21 next year would truly be the end of the world."

Seediq was a tribe that worshipped the rainbow in the Taiwan mountains.  They lived in a balance with the ecology in a paradise in the hills.  A hero came from the tribe's Mahebo Community, Mona Budao, son of the Mahebo Community's chief.  He returned from his first hunt with the head of another tribe, since then everyone in the tribe knew his name.  However good times did not last.  With the arrival of the Japanese colonial era, the Seediq tribe was forced to change from their original way of life.  Most of the tribe's men became slave labor while women became servants.  Seeing their home and hunting ground that their  ancestors worked hard to build gradually vanished under Japanese rule, Mona Rudao's heart ached and deeply believed in the ancestor's disciplines.  He could only on his own hunting ground pass through a variety of tests to earn the proud tattoo on his face and become a real Seediq.  Only after death would he be able to walk on the rainbow bridge that his ancestors recognized.

Nicholas Tse holds virus specialist Lin Peng hostage

The Emperor Motion Picture THE VIRAL FACTOR (YIK JIN) director Dante Lam Chiu Yin has always satisfied viewers' visual sense with explosive scenes.  This time in the film he designed a car crash that paralyzed Nicholas Tse Ting Fung for three minutes.  Mainland star Lin Peng was almost disfigured.  Emperor nervously purchased ten million in insurance policy for each actor!

The Lam Chiu Yin directed Emperor Motion Picture THE VIRAL FACTOR cost HK$200 million.  The director has always been explosive and was known for mighty scenes.  Of course THE VIRAL FACTOR is no exception.  The film would have many extra large explosive scenes and tanks, fighter jets.  In addition the actors mostly personally performed their stunts.

In a car crash scene, Ting Fung had to drive over another car and when he landed a bus hit his car.  Ting Fung said that at the time his old wounds acted up.  "For two to three minutes I couldn't move at all, I was in so much pain that I was paralyzed."  Lin Peng who performed in such an explosive scene for the first time actually was nearly disfigured.  Thus Emperor could not be more nervous and spent heavily on everyone's insurance policies.

Lin Peng had many dangerous scenes.  Car crashes and chases were already casual for her.  "Aside from using a dummy during a car crash, I personally performed the rest.  So I constantly would suffer bruises and scratches."  She was so focused during the shoot that her professionalism made the director praise her the "female Jackie Chan".

Aarif Rahman (Lee Chi Ting) in the Xu Jinglei directed film INTIMATE ENEMY (CHUN MUK DIK YUN) played a financial blogger who uses every trick in the book like eavesdropping and surveillance for first hand financial news.  He has been named the "financial world Conan".  In the film he will be swept into Stanley Huang and Xu Jinglei's bidding war and developed an "intimate enemy" relationship with both.

This financial detective also had his lovable side.  When he got something he would be so happy that he danced around.  In one scene he not only dressed up like Ultraman but also pretended to play guitar.  For
someone who normally did not dance much, this was considered a huge breakthrough.

Timmy Hung Tin Ming, Linda Wong Hing Ping, Carlo Ng Ka Lok and Chan Jin Peng two nights ago attended the Taylor Made-adidas Golf all new concept store opening.  A magazine published even more photos from the Rose Chan Ka Wun's allegedly molestation incident, in several she was even smiling and made people feel that at the time she actually was having fun with Benny Chan Ho Man and Joe Ma Tak Chung.  Tin Ming said that he was not interested in seeing those photos because the incident already took place.  He did not want to say much about the incident either.  He said, "I no longer have any impression of what happened, so I don't want to respond further."

Tin Ming reiterated that earlier he has already spoken from the heart.  With both parties being his friends, he was stuck in the middle.  In addition the matter began with him and now involved legal responsibility, he only wanted to quiet down and gave everyone space.  Did he feel the incident disturbed him?  Did his father yell at him?  He said, "Daddy didn't yell at me, only urged me not to respond further.  He was afraid that the more I spoke the worse I got because listeners could misunderstand my meaning.  Thus I would rather not make a sound.  (Would you do something for them?)  I have done what I should do.  I have already apologized to Rose and Ho Man, I hope everyone would give Ho Man a chance to change.  (Rose was smiling in many photos, would you vindicate her?)  I have no impression of what happened then, but she is very happy and can easily get along with everyone.  She also doesn't get upset.  (Is she an innocent girl?)  You can't say that, with the environment you can't say she was happy because she was smiling.  You can't just look at the surface.  I can't respond for her, but she is very nice, very gentle and accommodating to friends."  Tin Ming said that he did not have to favor either side but hoped that no one would think the worst or just about something negative.  Ultimately he pleaded for space for everyone.

In addition, already recovered from an earlier stroke Jimmy Wang Yu with WU XIA was nominated for the Golden Horse Best Supporting Actor.  Unfortunately he lost to WARRIORS OF THE RAINBOW: SEEDIQ BALE's new comer Boken Kosang.  His daughter Wong Hing Ping said that she was not disappointed about her father's defeat because in her heart her father was already the best.  He did not need the Golden Horse award to prove that.  She said, "I instead was worried about him having to attend the celebration if he won, then he would drink again.  After the event I called him, he was OK.  He even said that after several decades of living he was very understanding, he was very gracious."

Speaking of Wang Yu's self ridicule during the Lifetime Achievement Award presentation that made everyone laugh, Wong Hing Ping said, "I didn't feel it was funny, as his daughter I am very worried.  However his mentality was pretty positive."  She also said that her father has completely recovered from the stroke and was in great spirit.  He not only constantly came to Hong Kong to visit Mother Wong but also worked on the film GUILLOTINES (HUET DIK JI) in the Mainland.  She joked, "The production said that it needed my permission, but actually I know Daddy has the acting bug.  In addition the production guaranteed that he would only have dramatic scene and no fight scene.  Since he recovered very well, I didn't want to disappoint him.  Actually I couldn't stop him even if I wanted to."  For the performance, Wang Yu flew to Hengdian and Xian.  She admitted that at first she was a little scared, luckily the team treated him like a king.  If they were worried about the cold they would immediately bring blankets.  When he returned to Taiwan he immediately called his daughter.  Thus she too very much looked forward to the film release.

Shu Qi yesterday appeared at a certain cell phone new store opening.  Speaking of Andy Lau Tak Wa hinting at joy upon joy, Shu Qi said that she too learned about it from reports.  During the Golden Horse Awards he was busy with interviews after his victory, not even a pin could get through.  In addition Wa Jai should have received many congratulations, she later will call him.  Was she happy for Wa Jai?  Shu Qi immediately said, "Of course, with this example now I am not worried at all.  I can take my time (with parenthood)!  (When do you plan to have a child?)  It's not an issue of planning or not, I have to find the right person.  It's not like I look and find one right away.  Maybe you can introduce the ones you don't want to me."

Miss Hong Kong Rebecca Zhu, Hyman Chu, Whitney Hui, and Miss International Goodwill Nicole Leung two nights ago attended a TVB event.  Rebecca Zhu has already completed the film TURNING POINT 2
(LAUGHING GOR ji CHIM JUI FAN).  How did she feel she did?  She said that she has not seen it yet and will wait until the December 20 premiere to watch with the audience.  She also revealed that she had a lot of fun working with the cast.  "This time I just guest starred, but this chance was very rare.  (Did you have many bad takes?)  Yes, but they weren't too many."

Actually this time Rebecca Zhu had the most scenes with Francis Ng Chun Yu.  She said, "He and I have a long distance exchange.  He indeed lives up to his Best Actor status, with just a look that he tossed over he already had drama, so he was able to bring me into character."  Other actors were very friendly.  They knew she was very nervous about her first movie so they gave her some advice.

Andy Lau Tak Wa and Carol Chu Lai Sin's marriage was exposed, Wa Jai once expressed that he got married in order to have children.  Several rumors of Mrs. Lau's pregnancy were just rumors.  Wa Jai earlier won the Golden Horse Best Actor Award with A SIMPLE LIFE (TOH JEH).  As his fans were happy for him, yesterday Wa Jai on his official site announced "joy upon joy" as the 45 year old Chu Lai Sin has been pregnant for three months and the 50 year old Wa Jai will finally become a father.

Rumors of Mrs. Lau's pregnancy has been heating up lately.  Wa Jai was asked when he attended the Golden Horse Awards, but Wa Jai kept his mouth shut and only said that he would not respond to family matter.

Yesterday after 1AM, Wa Jai on his official site posted the good news.  "The jury loves me, my family loves me, everyone loves me, fine!  Back to family, I understand that all my family who love me have been worrying about that family matter and have been silently praying for me.  Family matter should be discussed with the family: thank the Heavens for loving me as well, adding joy upon joy.  So now my family "has joy".  I hope to share this joy with my own family.  Wish us well, Boss Wa Jai"  Seemingly Wa Jai's yet to be born baby truly has been luckily, before birth he already brought Papa another Best Actor award.  Radio DJ Winnie revealed online that Cha Siu Yan told her that Mrs. Lau has been pregnant for three months.

In addition, the Lau Tak Wa and Deanie Ip Tak Han starred, Ann Hui On Wa directed A SIMPLE LIFE (TOH JEH) won the Golden Horse Award Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Director.  The fresh out of the oven Golden Horse Best Actor Lau Tak Wa two nights ago made his triumphant return home.  Several dozen fans waited for him at the airport.

After winning the Golden Horse Best Actor with INFERNAL AFFAIRS (MO GAN DOH) seven years ago, Wa Jai again won.  He said that he still did not feel the award was real, when he accepted the award on the stage his mind was blank.  Because earlier the film has already won Best Actress and Best Director, he felt that he did not have much of a chance.  Thus when Wa Jai heard that he won, he was very surprised.

As for Ip Tak Han's claim that the film had to win Best Editing and Best Screenplay to be perfect, Wa Jai said that he was already very satisfied now.  "Three awards are already more than enough.  Now I still feel a little unreal, more would be artificial.  Now is already very happy and perfect."  Speaking of Wa Jai presenting the award to Ip Tak Han on one knee, he said that he did not plan that in advance.  He only thought that she should be on a pedestal.  As for how he would celebrate in Hong Kong, Wa Jai said that in Taipei he already shared with his fans but he has not yet have any plan for Hong Kong.  Has he notified his wife after the victory?  Wa Jai said, "Be nice, don't ask."  Then his fans accompanied him to the parking area.

Andy Lau Tak Wa will finally become a father and industry insiders congratulate him.  Joey Yung Cho Yi is very happy for him and said, "Wa Jai is so handsome, I hope he has a son who is more handsome than he is.  The most important is for the baby's nose to hook, a eagle beak baby."

Eason Chan Yik Shun heard the news and said, "Great!  Congratulations!  Truly joy upon joy."  Eason earlier attended Bondy Chiu Hok Yi's wedding and slept for 18 hours afterward.  Yesterday he just found out about Wa Jai and Deanie Ip Tak Han's Best Actor and Best Actress awards from the newspaper.  He said, "I hope everyone would give some space to Mrs. Lau.  Wa Jai can focus on preparing to welcome a new life, very nice."  Would he share any fatherhood secrets with Wa Jai?  Eason said that actually he did not have much experience.  His wife Hilary Tsui Ho Ying had more.

Kay Tse On Kay said, "Congratulations!  The baby will definitely be very handsome."  She said that earlier she gave a super parenthood book to Hacken Lee Hak Kun.  now she had to buy another one for Wa Jai
because it was truly very handy.  Tse On Kay also reminded Mrs. Lau that now not catching a cold would be the most important.  Although during pregnancy women often sweat, she still should always wear a jacket.  Tse On Kay ate everything when she was pregnant and did not avoid anything.

Hins Cheung King Hin was very happy to hear the new and said that Wa Jai truly doubled the pleasure.  Hin Jai believed that Wa Jai was just as in a rushed as his fans.  Now Wa Jai enters another stage of life.  He also pointed out that the baby is very lucky, bringing Papa an award.

Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin said, "I am very happy!  He is the best example of a good man.  I will send him a text to congratulate him and congratulate him on the award too."  In addition Peter Lam Kin Ngok said about Lau Tak Wa's "joy at my home", of course he would be happy about something joyous!

THE GREAT MAGICIAN (DAI MOR SHOOK SI) is mainly a light battle of wits.  Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Lau Ching Wan in order to win the heart of Zhou Xun use every trick in the book.  As Ching Wan's seventh concubine, Zhou Xun is well disguised and stoic.  Ching Wan in order to get a kiss charges her room at night.  In order to turn down this charging warlord, Zhou Xun with her Chinese dance background moves like a snake and dodges all over the room.  She has Ching Wan right where she wants him.

In this scene, they chase each other around in a small room.  In order to create the humorous effect, director Derek Yee Tung Sing uses a fully rhythmic dance style to express the "you can't catch me" feeling.  During rehearsal Ching Wan pairs stiff movement with humorous expression and cracks up Zhou Xun, leading to bad takes.  Ching Wan even jokes that this is the latest robot dance.  "I see the young people now like this type of dancing very much.  The uniqueness of this dance is stiff appearance, which looks a little unnatural.  I feel my dance steps can lead a new round of robot dance fever."  Has his wife kicked him out like in the film?  Ching Wan mischievously answered, "I am a warlord, you should ask my wife whether she has tried to kick me out."

On the other hand, Zhou Xun in this film dodges right and left.  Zhou Xun says that she has studied Chinese dance since she was little.  General dance steps or kicks to her are easy as pie.  In order to fend off Ching Wan who charges into her room, Zhou Xun "rolls" over the table, pulls table cloth and throw apples.  "In order to be accurate, I have to try repeatedly.  Luckily my face isn't swollen from me nailing him."

Wu Chun, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Karena Ng Chin Yu, Anjaylia Chan Ka Bo, Raymond Wong Pak Ming and others two nights ago attended a charity premiere of MAGIC TO WIN (HOI SUM MOR FAT) in Wan Chai.  They performed a magic show and received thunderous applause.

Goo Jai revealed that he was drunk in 90% of the film.  Did he truly drink?  He joked, "Of course it was tea, but I really had to drink for a (Johnnie) To Kei Fung movie.  At the time I had to finish an entire bottle of beer in one breath, after the shoot I was a little dizzy.  Luckily after that we were done."  Goo Jai said that he would decide how much to drink depending on his condition.  On an empty stomach he would be worse, but he would drink responsibly.  Speaking of Christmas, lately he has been flying around so much that he almost had no idea who he was or where he was.

Wu Chun in the film was invisible for awhile.  Did anyone crack up?  He said that a lot of comedy ensued.  Did he take the chance to study martial art with Wu Jing?  Wu Chun said, "No, but I has asked him to teach me.  I am very interested in martial arts."  Wu Chun had the most fans on hand, but his co-star Chan Ka Bo did not fall under his spell.  Instead she praised how seeing him meant free food.  Wu Chun joked, "Right!  I thank my fans for always buying food for me.  They would buy everyone's share as well.  Although it wasn't an everyday occurrence, there was a lot of food.  (You got them everywhere you went in the world?)  In Japan they did.  So I truly can't possibly starve to death."
