The Julian Cheung Chi Lam and Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau) starred new film NATURAL BORN LOVERS (TIN SUN OI CHING KONG) after less than a week in release so far has made almost 4 million, thus the cast and the crew scheduled a celebration for tonight before Chilam take off for TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES 2 (CHONG SEUNG WON SIU 2) location shoot. Chilam earlier took time out earlier for audience appreciation with Sum Yau, Christine Kuo and others at Mongkok cinemas. When he arrived three generations of female viewers shrieked, a granny even sent him well wishes for his son.

Because the audience was too enthusiastic, the cinema operators had to play temporary security and even took the team to back door to leave. When Chilam and others stuffed in the back alley for photos, fans pushed the door hard to see stars and hit Sum Yau in the back. Luckily she was fine. Sum Yau said, "I was dumb, not smart enough to duck out of the way."

William Chan Wai Ting recently promoted his Emperor Motion Picture TRIAD (JAT JIK) frequently. The film company even pulled out William and Deep Ng Ho Hong's competition to be the "boss" and posted Chan Wai Ting and Ng Ho Hong posters to campaign in Kowloon. Some mobsters were upset and earlier even called to "threaten" the film company to remove the posters. The film company admitted that it has received threatening calls. "Earlier we indeed received some calls from vicious people, telling us not to mess up their order and demanding us to quickly remove the posters! (Would you consider calling the police?) Because we really don't know who the person was, for now we don't have any plan to."

TRIAD star Chan Wai Ting said, "In other words everyone responded to the promotional posters, which is a good thing. Later I will constantly promote in Mongkok and won't be too worried. The campaign poster is just a promotional gimmick, no one needs to take it too seriously."

Angelababy two nights ago attended Vogue magazine's 120th anniversary. She said, "I never thought I would be able to find an evening gown that matches the TAICHI style of black and white. I am very happy." As for her suggestion for girls who want to be pretty, she said, "Don't be a lazy woman, work hard to be a pretty woman!" Aside from Angelababy, other guests included Carina Lau Ka Ling, Maggie Cheung Man Yuk, Dong Jie, Zhou Xun, Li Bingbing and others.

Angelababy yesterday attended the TAICHI HERO premiere press conference in Beijing with director Stephen Fung Tak Lun, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Feng Shaofeng and others. Angelababy and the team appeared in special Halloween look. Angelababy's Batgirl and Leung Ka Fai's Ji Gong costumes were the most eye catching. The film company gave each actor a Jack O' Lantern. Angelababy received one with the word "hero". She joked, "Perhaps everyone felt I was too much like an actor. I originally was a heroine, after a lifetime of hard work I still played a heroine?" Angelababy in TAICHI ZERO used pumpkins to fend off enemies. This time she also received a Jack O' Lantern. She said that because she was such a tomboy, everyone privately called her an actor and now she has become a hero. She said that coincidentally her costume was Batgirl, so the word hero was perfect.

Actor Lau Siu Ming's wife Cheung Wai Ling passed away earlier. Ming Sir who has been married for 50 years yesterday held a memorial at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Sai Wan Ho. Friends Damien Lau Chung Yan, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Sunny Chan Kam Hung, Amy Kwok Oi Ming, Chung King Fai, Melissa Ng Mei Hung, Perry Chiu Woon and Ursule Wong Yu Sze came to pay their respect. Yesterday the ceremony was Catholic. Ming Sir revealed that later the burial will take place at a Catholic cemetery. During the farewell ceremony, Ming Sir was very sadden and wiped his tears with tissue. He also walked over and touched the photo of his wife in his son's hands. Later he also walked over to the coffin in silence. Ming Sir's daughter greeted family and friends. Ming Sir was asked whether his emotions have settled. He said, "Starting today it is a little better. My mood keeps on changing. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it is very strange." He admitted that he was reluctant to part. The passing of his wife made him lose a lot because he has always relied on his wife's support. He said, "I constantly would work in show business, we have been apart more than together. Now the scenes cannot appear again, but because of her a lot of beautiful memories and scenes are left in life."

Ming Sir said that he and his wife had many happy days and that as his wife departed she still encouraged him. He said, "She said I was a dancer of dusk and sunset glow. I shouldn't after her passing feel that it is a mourning. She told me to live in the evening glow. I was very touched." Ming Sir also said that after his wife passed, recently he found a blade of grass at the Peak. He said, "The grass was like the one that we made a promise to each other when we were in love. I took a photo of this blade of grass and put it in the memorial program in memory of her." Will Ming Sir take a break from work? He said, "Many friends say that emotions will never settle, I can only rely on work to be able to increase motivation." Chan Kam Hung said that he was Ming Sir's "teacher" because over ten years ago they performed a Buddhist play in Singapore. At the time he played Ming Sir's teacher. After that time they often met. Kam Hung said, "They were the model couple. His wife was even the female role model, family came first for her. Ming Sir's wife took care of him before. When she was sick, Ming Sir was a dutiful husband and took care of her. Although it was sad and I too am a little sadden, he also felt joy. Because this moment is very perfect, it wasn't the sudden passing type."

Nicholas Tse Ting in the Emperor Entertainment HK$150 million new film DUT JUNG GAU WOON YING HUNG (SPECIAL RESCUE HERO) will perform dangerous stunts like fighting a real fire, building jump, and hanging in mid air personally.

Reportedly his mother Deborah Li was very worried and nervous. Emperor Entertainment bought a HK$100 million insurance policy for Ting Fung. His manager Mani Fok Man Hei ordered him to put sun block on his scalp when shooting outdoors. Because fire fighters required long term professional training but Ting Fung and others were just actors who have not received strict training, they dropped their other jobs and reported yesterday for a week of "rapid fire fighting class". Ting Fung yesterday with Hong Kong Film Award Best Actors Hu Jun and Simon Yam Tat Wa, Puchon Best Actor Shawn Yue Man Lok and William Chan Wai Ting secretly went to the Yuen Long Fire Services Training School for training.

Despite the heavy rain, the training process was not hindered. Upon arrival Ting Fung and others immediately changed into fire fighter uniforms, sat on the ground and listened to the instructor. Playing fire fighters for the first time, Ting Fung and William listened attentively with curiosity on their faces. Earlier they put on protective gears and used the fire hose in the rain outdoors. When faced with a large fire ball Ting Fung looked calm and courageous.

DUT's director is the Hong Kong Film Award Best Picture winner Derek Kwok Chi Kin. The story will have Hong Kong building collapse, fiery explosions and industrial accidents as blue prints. Aside from Best Actors Ting Fung, Hu Jun, Yam Tat Wa and others as the beyond manly fire fighters, the film will also have Mainland star Bai Bing, Emperor new comer Alice Li Xiaonan and local beauty Michelle Wai (Si Nga).

Law Chung Him two nights ago with Oscar Leung Lit Wai and Sammy Sum Chun Hin worked on a chase scene. With the rain the road was very slick. Him Jai ran into the street and a taxi almost knocked him over. The taxi driver was upset and kept honking his horn. Him Jai said, "The movie has many street scenes, but I am not afraid of danger. I trust the crew's arrangement."

The young cast got along well off camera. Leung Lit Wai and Philip Ng Won Lung even suddenly broke into Gangnam Style.

Luisa Lai Chi San's program BEST ACTOR earlier interviewed Huang Xiaoming in Beijing. About the nickname "China's top young actor", Huang Xiaoming felt that it was not suitable and gave him a lot of pressure. He felt that being described as a "good man" would be more appropriate. Speaking of his "chok" look, Huang Xiaoming said that he used to want to be handsome, but he has already passed the "chok" age. Being handsome was for the need of the film.

Huang Xiaoming also shared his several traffic accident experience. He broke his leg and he also has lost consciousness. When he had his second car crash, his then girlfriend even realistically left him and broke his heart. However he also had to thank her. Because of that he completely changed and became more easy going. Lai Chi San asked him he was so handsome, why would he be dumped? He felt that a woman's heart was the hardest to grasp in the world. He said that he looked tough but he was very soft inside. He valued relationships and two romances made him felt as though his heart was being cut. Did being in show business change his view? He said that a lot of things were not absolute, forever and a lifetime were very hard to guarantee. Yet he would work hard toward that direction and hope that his story would be a fairy tale. When asked whether he would publicize his romance, he said "it depends on my mood".

Was his current relationship joyous? He said that he was a lucky one and hoped that everyone around him would live happily. He also said that he liked to fulfill other people's dreams. Recently on someone's birthday he booked a very beautiful restaurant and decorated it attentively to create a princess fantasy rose garden. Was that the most recent? He admitted it was. As for what he looked for in a mate, he said understanding, kind, filial and attentive. He said that for now he still had career goals and marriage would not be his first choice. He also said that he was the only son and would want children. Huang Xiaoming also said that in school he had a crush on Vicki Zhao Wei. She had a boyfriend at the time and they were never together.

CZ12 executive producer, director and star Jackie Chan yesterday appeared at the location of Old Summer Palace to present the "New Chinese Zodiac statue" replicas to the Old Summer Palace museum. The City of Beijing propaganda department chief, deputy mayor Lou Wei and the Old Summer Palace representatives personally accepted the replicas and unveiled the CZ12 Old Summer Palace theme poster and the 12 Chinese Zodiac posters. Foreign visitors on hand even screamed, "Jackie Chan!" After the ceremony when the "New 12 Chinese Zodiac statues" officially settled in the Old Summer Palace, Big Brother was very emotional. "I never thought my dream would come true."

The Jackie Chan directed and starred film CZ12 is the story of the recovery and return of the lost Old Summer Palace Chinese Zodiac statues that were lost during the Opium War. Big Brother Jackie Chan two years ago accepted the duty of the "Old Summer Palace Relic Recovery Image Ambassador" and did all he could to recover the national treasures. During this process he also began to shoot CZ12 and took a year and a half to complete. Yesterday the "New 12 Chinese Zodiac statues" that Big Brother presented to the Old Summer Palace took two years to create, with 4 writers and 6 sculptors spending 2500 hours to study the original. Jackie Chan said, "My inspiration to make CZ12 is from the 2000 statue audition. After become the 'relic recovery ambassador' I was even more certain that I had to make this film. After a year and a half it was finally finished, after going to eight cities on five continents." Hopefully this film's action comedy will be able to attract viewers. It will also be educational and make everyone remember history." Big Brother Jackie Chan even emotionally said at the press conference, "I wish all of the national treasures would be returned to their own nations, all races' cultures would receive equal respect." He also said that hopefully CZ12 will remind everyone to be more patriotic and do their part to recover national treasures.

Sandra Ng Kwan Yu two nights ago attended an Orbis event. Kwan Yu was asked about yelling at her daughter on the street. She immediately said that her daughter was her "boss" and she did not dare to yell at her. She joked, "I don't dare to yell at the boss, how do I dare to disciple her on the street!" Kwan Yu explained that that day she thought her daughter could go home after her piano lesson so she agreed to dine with her after class. Later her maid reminded her that her daughter actually had to go to the tutor, but her daughter made a fess when she found out. Kwan Yu finally could only arranged for the tutor to meet them at the restaurant. Kwan Yu said that she has never got mad with her daughter. Their family relationship was very intricate. Peter Chan Ho Sun was very afraid of her yelling at him, but she was afraid of her daughter yelling at her. She admitted that she spoiled her daughter somewhat.

In addition Kwan Yu was asked about Veronica Yip Yuk Hing's comeback. She pointed out that Hing Hing was truly very interested. After years in the U.S. and now her children are grown, the acting bug acting up occasionally is very normal. She said that later she will work on a Lunar New Year film and perhaps she would ask her to participate.

The Louis Koo Tin Lok, Lau Ching Wan starred Universe new film INFERNO (TOH CHOOK SUN TIN) yesterday had an accident while shooting in Thailand. Famous action director Dion Lam Dik On while testing a mark for Ching Wan accidentally pierced his right leg. Although the on set medical team bandaged him, for safety director Danny Pang Fat asked the team to send Lam Dik On to the hospital. Due to the severity of the injury he needed not only nine stitches but also had to remain in the hospital for observation. Lam Dik On did not want to hinder the production progress and insisted on returning to work.

As soon as Koo Tin Lok and Lau Ching Wan saw Lam Dik On on the set they greeted them. Lam Dik On said that this time was "minor" and even talked about all the injuries throughout his career as a stunt man.

The film THE LAST TYCOON (DAI SEUNG HOI) will soon be released with producer Andrew Lau Wai Keung, planner Manfred Wong (Man Jun) and director Wong Jing, stars Chow Yun Fat, Huang Xiaoming, Sammo Hung Kam Bo, Francis Ng Chun Yu, Yolanda Yuan Quan and others. Bona film group chair Yu Dong brought together Chow Yun Fat, Hung Kam Bo and Ng Chun Yu who have never worked together in 30 years. He said Chow Yun Fat and director Wong Jing have worked together many times. 18 years later they are together again with Best Actors Hung Kam Bo and Ng Chun Yu, people are looking forward to it.

Hung Kam Bos said that he prepared a "heroic duo" script for Fat Gor, but due to scheduling they missed the chance. This time they finally had a chance to work together. He deliberately asked the director to add his previous concept into the film, finally the major scene in which he and Fat Gor became sworn brothers in THE LAST TYCOON appeared. As for working with Chow Yun Fat, Hung Kam Bo said that he had no pressure at all. He joked that he was only little fatter but was still very cool. In the film they played tycoons of the Bund. Hung Kam Bo not only did not pale in comparison to Fat Gor's handsomeness and dominance but also revealed his character had better luck with the ladies than Chow Yun Fat. He said, "In this film I look very cool, I have more women around me than him, I am even more handsome than him. Because of that later I suffered the envy of others and almost cost me my life!"

The film also tested Hung Kam Bo's patience, in one scene he, Fat Gor and Ng Chun Yu were in a bathhouse. Hung Kam Bo said, "Luckily everyone is a good actor and we quickly got it done. However I definitely would peel from the soaking." Earlier he had very few opportunities to shoot in a bathhouse. Normally the bath would feel very comfortable. Yet this time he had to deliver lines as he bathed, the feeling was very different.

Director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) yesterday appeared on Commercial Radio to discuss his new film NATURAL BORN LOVERS (TIN SUN OI CHING KONG). Speaking of teaming Julian Cheung Chi Lam with Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau), he wanted to give himself a new challenge. They had a kiss scene in the film but he joked that fortunately Chilam's wife Anita Yuen Wing Yi (Len Len) did not visit the set often. Every time Len Len visited she would bring a lot of good food for the team. Although NATURAL was based on a true story, Yip Lim Sum had an understanding already with his previous team of Alex Fong Lik Sun and Stephy Tang Lai Yun. For the short run they would not work together. Yip Lim Sum joked that he single handedly created the real life couple from the on screen couple.

Christy Chung Lai Tai worked on Italian label Marina Rinaldi photo shoot. The mother of three daughters is still full of charm and self confidence. Earlier she worked on the film GOOD FOR NOTHING HEROES and played an ugly woman. She said that she was very happy to be able to play a character who was not pretty. During make up she needed to be buck teeth and her hair was all over the place. Yet this character was very close to life as she was a bun selling single mother. She believed that everyone would like this type of person who toils for her child. This year she also made the new film HUA YING XIONG LING but she normally did not enjoy ghost films. During the shoot she felt especially scared. Not only did someone want to kill her, she was also in a strange land and could not communicate. Perhaps because she was afraid she was able to very easily get into this character.
