[2013.08.01] ANGELINA ZHANG'S FORMER COMPANY IS DEMANDING HK$500,000

courtesy of on.cc

Angelina Zhang (Cheung Woon Ngai) two days ago suspected that her former management company released her nude photos and would contact the police. Yesterday her management company said, "The company has already issued a legal letter to Cheung Woon Ngai, accusing her of slander and going after HK$500,000 from jobs that she privately took from the company." The company also said that Cheung Woon Ngai once admitted taking over thousands of nude photos and as many as four to five people have them.

Meanwhile, she was already revealed to be married to director Mark Wu Yiu Fai. Cheung Woon Ngai intended to return to Hong Kong for a press conference in August. Wu Yiu Fai who just returned from the Mainland two days ago held a press conference in the film company. He admitted that he was already married but declined to reveal the wedding details. Speaking of his wife's nude photos, he said, "I will leave it for her, she should be back in Hong Kong soon. I absolutely support my wife and I don't mind. (How is your wife?) I have alot to do, we have talked a little over the phone. (She only admitted that you were dating?) No, she just misspoke."

As for his wife's nude photo leak, Wu Yiu Fai said that he would not eliminate taking legal action. "If you are going to steal other people's stuff please be a little smarter. If you did it you definitely would be found out. It's a felony." As for his wife's problems with her former manager, Wu Yiu Fai was upset. "I know about this person for awhile, I don't have any fondness for or impression of him. Do you think he is (Mani) Fok Man Hei or Paco Wong?"

[2013.08.01] CHOW YUN FAT, SYLVIA CHANG AND JOHNNIE TO WORK TOGETHER ON A NEW FILM

courtesy of singtao.com

The 1989 film release ALL ABOUT AH LONG (AH LONG DIK GOO SI) was a box office and critical hit with over HK$30 million back then! 24 years later, the "film industry iron triangle" of Chow Yun Fat, Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga) and Johnnie To Kei Fung will reunite on the big screen for a film adaptation of the play DESIGN FOR LIVING (WA LAI SEUNG BAN JOOK ji SUN WOOT YU SUN CHUEN). To Sir will direct, Chow Yun Fat and Cheung Ngai Ga will star. Eason Chan Yik Shun and Tang Wei will also take part as the production will start at the end of September!

Last year Cheung Ngai Ga revealed that DESIGN will be made into a film. Later she turned the script over to To Kei Fung. Wai Ka Wai became the screen writer. At the time To Sir already planned for Cheung Ngai Ga to be the lead actress and Chow Yun Fat was a lock for the lead actor, as he swore to bring the ALL ABOUT AH LONG iron triangle back to the big screen after 24 years. Back then Fat Gor with the film won the Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor, even the theme song PERHAPS UNEASY was heard on every corner. Actually, Cheung Ngai Ga also suggested to To Sir to ask Fat Gor to perform. Although they have not worked together for years, they stayed in touch. When he received the invitation, Fat Gor agreed right away!

Fat Gor is working on the film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG WON). To Sir is busy with the Vic Chou Yu Man, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Miriam Yeung Chin Wa starred DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART 2. The soonest the new film will start production will be at the end of September. Aside from Fat Gor and Cheung Ngai Ga, Chan Yik Shun and Tang Wei will also perform. Busy with his concerts, Eason and his good friend Nicholas Tse Ting Fung both have the chance to work with Fat Gor. Eason's end of the year schedule will completely belong to the production as he planned to learn from Fat Gor.

Although Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Zhou Xun immediately put out the fire of a romantic rumor by stressing that they were just ordinary friends and neighbors and not living together, two nights ago Joey Yung Cho Yi and Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin both joked that Ting Fung loved girls with a Beijing accent and seemed to have given him a vote of no confidence despite Ting Fung moving into a new home in a high profile manner. Zhou Xun actually stayed in Hong Kong recently to secretly make OVERHEARD 3 (SIT TING FUNG WON III). Once saying that she had to rest for awhile and not make a movie, she made an exception for a Hong Kong film. Indeed her love belonged to Hong Kong.

Tse Ting Fung and Zhou Xun were rumored to be in love. Because most of the 33 year old Ting Fung's significant others were older than him, outsiders felt that Zhou Xun being 5 years older than Ting Fung was no problem.

However Ting Fung also moved out of her old home in a high profile manner. Even with the paparazzi on his tail he still went to his HK$160,000 a month new home. Seemingly he wanted to prove that they were just friends, or he wanted to divert attention to make the relationship a secret one.

Yesterday a magazine depicted Zhou Xun as the on who was taking the initiative in the relationship, claiming that she already was fond of Ting Fung a long time ago and became familiar with Ting Fung through her friend Chen Kun. They might not have developed into a couple yet, as they had the interest to become good friends. However since Ting Fung just let Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi go, he still would rather be single for now.

Zhou Xun who already became a Hong Konger through the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme indeed loved Hong Kong. Earlier she stated that she would rest for a long time. Yet earlier reporters found her at work in Hong Kong for OVERHEARD 3 (SIT TING FUNG WON III). She wore light and casual costumes for the film's location shoot. Sean Lau Ching Wan was also present and director Felix Chong Man Keung was directing the production. Because she was not advertised to be in the film, her appearance was somewhat surprising. Hong Kong film obviously still had its charm and was able to make her making the exception, she truly loved Hong Kong. Reporters saw her often playing with her phone, like she was waiting for a message from a friend?

Ting Fung's friends Yung Cho Yi and Choi Cheuk Yin seemed to agree with them dating. Ah Sa praised that they were well matched and even said that she has imagined them together before. Yung Cho Yi joked that Ting Fung liked "Beijing accent" girls in particular, seemingly hinting that the rumor was not without its merit.

When Yung Cho Yi and Ah Sa were asked about Ting Fung's new romantic rumor, they both sent their well wishes. Joey said, "I don't know how to answer about Ting Fung's matter. I haven't asked him, but I agree very much for him to date. He has great qualities. When someone has been alone for a long time he would become dry. I don't know who that person is, but as a friend I would be happy for him. (Do you feel that he is in love?) No, I just feel that if he isn't dating it would be quite a waste." Was Ting Fung and Zhou Xun a good match? Joey just laughed and answered ambiguously. "Ah Jai (Ting Fung's nickname) has always liked to hear Putonghua, liked the Beijing accent. As long as you don't pay attention to his over a decade only LV slippers, he has always been very sharply dressed. However I am not much of a gossip, I keep my mouth shut. I remember recently I have seen Zhou Xun." When reporters asked if she saw her at Ting Fung's home, she immediately practiced Tai Chi. "I remember now, I saw her on the newspaper."

Ah Sa joked that she has imagined them together. She said, "I don't know if the rumor is real or not, but I have always liked Zhou Xun. I have imagined this match up. They are very well matched. However it's not my business, i have just imagined it."

Earlier Ah Sa reportedly on a certain site video program revealed the show business "hidden rules". On the program she revealed that she was asked to meet and escort bosses and rich people, and that the "Hainan Rendez-Vous" situation was frequently seen. The text even claimed that Ah Sa stated that her manager made her stand outside the front door the company to learn "obedience".

When the reporter looked up the interview the content and the report were very different. Ah Sa admitted that artists definitely would have certain difficulties but she absolutely has not been "harmed". She stressed that every time she had to drink, Mani would protect her. Ah Sa also pointed out that after becoming famous artists would definitely be insulted, which was normal.

Mani yesterday told Ah Sa about the report. Ah Sa immediately said that the report quoted her out of context and complained. Mani said, "She was just promoting her film THE MIDAS TOUCH (CHIU CUP GAING LEI YUN). No one should make too many connections." Mani clarified for Ah Sa that in the interview she never mentioned dining with the rich or Mani's corporal punishment.

courtesy of mingpao.com

Dior Cheng Yi Kin was asked about his wife Yoyo Mung Ka Wai's upcoming 40th birthday. He said that he will have to be at work for days but will celebrate with his wife in advance. Would the first birthday after their marriage be a big event? Ekin joked, "No, just like before, I already have her in my hands. Actually material wise we don't much too much, having it is enough." Comic book creator Ma Wing Shing announced his retirement, Ekin who played one of his legendary character Wing said, "Everything has to come to an end, how it ends is unimportant. The most important is everyone remembers it. (What if another film of the STORM RIDERS (FUNG WON) would be made?) I believed it wouldn't, even if it would it should be with a new generation. YOUNG AND DANGEROUS has a new generation too!" He revealed that he was busy with the YOUNG AND DANGEROUS concert preparation. Although it was very hard to invite "Smartie" Gigi Lai Chi to return, he would already be very happy if she was willing to be in the audience.

Eric Tsang Chi Wai took part in the Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun) directed new film THE ROOFTOP and played a Chinese medicine clinic boss Lord Bo. Chow Kit Lun wrote a song for him to perform, singing 39 words in 10 seconds. Chi Wai joked that it was quite a bother because Chow Kit Lun kept saying that he was "half a beat behind". This time he did not accommodate him and loosen his demand on music. Finally the recording took half a day to complete. He felt that Chow Kit Lun was still not 100% satisfied with his performance.

In the film he and Taiwan comedy artist "Na Dou" played father and son. They did not resemble each other at all. Actually Chi Wai's daughter Bowie Tsang Bo Yi pulled the string. Once she made the suggestion to Chow Kit Lun on a flight, finally Chow Kit Lun during casting truly pulled them together for the collaboration. Chi Wai joked that when he saw Na Dou, he felt that he had to go to Korea for plastic surgery and make himself uglier in order to match him. THE ROOFTOP performed ideally at the Mainland box office. As of two days ago it was heading toward 120 million RMB.

Elanne Kong Yeuk Lam with the film THE WEDDING DIARY is nominated for a Chinese film association of Malaysia's Golden Wau Awards for Best Actress. Her competition included ICE KACANG PUPPY LOVE's Angelica Lee Sinjie. Kong Yeuk Lam did not expect to be nominated and felt that this year has been very lucky; after her first Hong Kong Film Award nomination, she was nominated again this time. It was quite a shot of confidence into her performance career.

She has seen Lee Sinjie's nominated film and admired her very much. Facing strong competition, Kong Yeuk Lam kept a normal state of mind and was already satisfied with the nomination. She also picked Lee to win. Her on screen mother Wai Ying Hung was already nominated for Best Supporting Actress. She wished that Sister Hung will win and the film will win many awards.

Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Eddie Peng Yu-Yen in the film UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) played master and disciple and grew to admire each other due to the film; Peng Yu-yen sometimes would call Ka Fai Master and would even be very mischievous. In one scene they were training. When they practiced close combat, they were tied up. When they turned around their mouths were very close. Peng Yu-Yen then took the chance to kiss Ka Fai on the cheek. Even though Ka Fai dodged the sudden kiss, Peng Yu-Yen continued with his kisses. Ka Fai revealed, "Peng Yu-Yen is very daring. As soon as the cameras rolled he immediately gave a peck, which I thought was too much. Then when he came again, he held him back with my arm and asked him what did he want to do? He said nothing, I said you just kissed me!"

She said that she liked Astro Boy since she was little, she liked to watch this cartoon character that spreads positive energy. She said, "As an artist the pressure is enormous, there would always be unhappy times. Whenever I am unhappy I would draw. Lately I drew a dozen or so. (Are you very unhappy?) The pressure is huge. Earlier when I made I SELL LOVE (FAN MAI. OI) I had a very daring bed scene with Uncle Chi (Liu Kai Chi). I had to show my back. I felt a lot of pressure. (Would it be better with someone younger?) No, I worried that I wouldn't look pretty in it, the result would be poor."

The 33 year old Nicholas Tse Ting Fung was rumored to be in love with the 38 year old Best Actress Zhou Xun. Zhou Xun who became a Hong Konger through the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme supposedly moved to Hong Kong and into the same building as Ting Fung. The report even claimed that his former wife Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi was jealous after learning that they were in love and took their sons to live in Canada. Ting Fung who has never hidden his relationships rapidly claimed that "they knew each other but are not in love" along with Zhou Xun. The neighbors have not moved in together either.

Tse Ting Fung yesterday appeared at Cheung King Hin's Emperor Entertainment press conference. When the host made fun of him for a lot of recent news, he said, "Don't believe what was written in the report!" Ting Fung did not want to steal his junior colleague's thunder and had to rush to Cyberport for work, thus he turned down interviews. However he still through his manager Mani Fok Man Hei denied any new romance. Fok Man Hei said, "Ting Fung was clueless when he saw the report. He absolutely isn't in love with Zhou Xun. Since his divorce to now he has been single." Did they know each other? Fok Man Hei said, "They know each other, but they are just neighbors who live in the same building. Even Ting Fung is clueless. They are 100% not dating. Hopefully the media won't speculate. Ting Fung is single now!"

As for whether Pak Chi took their sons and immigrated to Canada, Fok Man Hei said, "Pak Chi has already communicated with Ting Fung before hand. Ting Fung knew that his former wife and their sons went to Canada. Their sons will return to Hong Kong." She said that Ting Fung wanted for his sons to grow up healthily the most and not be the target of the media.

Ms. Yang from Zhou Xun Workshop's promotional department said, Zhou Xun and Ting Fung absolutely are not in love. She said, "Zhou Xun read the report and was very surprised and clueless. In 2000 she worked on Ting Fung's music video. They knew each other a long time ago but are just ordinary friends. They don't have any personal relationship, just exchange greeting at public events." Ms. Yang said that Zhou Xun is working in Hong Kong. She moved into Ting Fung's building because the production rented a place there. She did not buy any property in Hong Kong.

Patrick Tse Yin said that he has not heard about Ting Fung's new romance and was certain that Pak Chi did not leave for Canada out of jealousy. He angrily said, "It definitely isn't like this, don't make up news. It would affect the children!"

Louis Koo Tin Lok, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, Gao Yuanyuan, and Vic Chou Yu Man starred film DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART 2 (DAN SUN NAM NUI) yesterday held a production start ceremony. Director Johnnie To Kei Fung, screen writer Wai Ka Fai, Media Asia boss Peter Lam Kin Ngok attended. Goo Jai and Chin Wa in 2002 worked together on the film DRY WOOD FIERCE FIRE (GONG CHAI LIT FOR) and were linked in rumors. 11 years later they reunited. He felt that Chin Wa was already very different. "She used to be a happy nut, now she is much more stable and has a child." Speaking of Chin Wa already winning Best Actress, was her acting better? Goo Jai said, "Of course!" Chin Wa humbly replied, "No one should start a word trap, actually I never think too much. Many people were against me making LOVE IN A PUFF (JI MING YU CHUN GIU). This is fate."

Chin Wa after winning Best Actress did not increase her salary rate and left it to her company to get a reasonable rate. She felt getting opportunities was even more important. "This time I work with To Kei Fung for the first time, I am full of curiosity. I witness that he is a good actor, on the set his acting instruction is great. I would laugh every time I would see it. If by the wrap he hasn't yelled at me, it would be an achievement for me."

Chin Wa revealed that Goo Jai in the film was very lucky as he was in a multiple side relationships. Goo Jai said, "In the last movie two guys were after a girl, this time many girls are after one guy. The relationships are complicated and mixed up, Ng Yin Cho (Daniel Wu) will guest star." Would Chin Wa have any passionate scenes? Goo Jai said, "Yes, but when the time for getting close comes, it would always stop due to some reason." He said that the script had no ending yet. The ending was full of variation. He had action scenes like climbing a building to look for something.

Gao Yuanyuan was fortunate that she never had nay complicated relationship in real life. She said, "Girls with suitors originally are very lucky, but too many complications would be very painful and unpleasant." On the other hand, Chou Yu Man wanted to get luckier. He joked, "I look forward to more girls coming after me!" In the film he played a romantic guy like his own personality, but the other half felt that he was rather sensible.

Model Mandy Lieu appears in a swimsuit for the first time
Aside from swimsuit scenes, Mandy Lieu also has passionate scenes
courtesy of mingpao.com

Mandy Lieu starred in the Chip Tsao (To Kit) directed film OI. CHUM. MAI. (LOVE. SEEK. MYSTERY) and played a political figure's wife who had an affair. The film had many daring love scenes. Mandy had no stage fright though. Yesterday she even worked on her first swimsuit scene. To Kit could not help but praise how "hot" she was.

Mandy yesterday wore her own swimsuit for a swimming pool scene. She said, "I have never modeled in a swimsuit show, this time I chose the swimsuit. During the shoot I am not afraid of the team's eyes. It isn't awkward since I started as a model." For the character, Mandy not only displayed all of her femininity but also performed daring love scenes with the lead actor. She challenged her personal bottom line. "I wore sexy underwear and performed a passionate kiss scene for the first time. During the shoot the team automatically cleared the set for me. I wasn't embarrassed and let go in my performance. Unfortunately I was too in character, as soon as I got close I torn my co-star's shirt and ripped off buttons, had several bad takes. Even my co-star thought I was rough."

Mandy was pleased with her performance. To Kit also praised her for having acting abilities, looks and figure. To Kit said, "Mandy's performance as an invasive character is great, it is wild enough! Our thinking and our views of the world are the same, we are on the same wavelength and the collaboration has been pleasant."
