Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai) yesterday promoted his directing debut ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE (LOK PAU BA OI CHING) in Tuen Mun. Siu Chai not only sang but also interacted with female fans. Female fans made bubble tea for Siu Chai. After Siu Chai took a few sips to determine the winner, a female fan actually took the bubble tea that Siu Chai drank from to drink. Siu Chai was shocked. "No way? Don't be like this!" Later Siu Chai recalled that over a decade ago he ran into a truly mad fan. He said, "At the time I was at an autograph session in Tianjin, a teenage girl showed me a tissue that had my name written on it backwards. The words were in red. Later she pulled up her sleeve, actually she carved my name on her arm then pressed it onto it." Siu Chai immediately told her not to harm herself and said that if his name was longer, then she would have to carve her entire arm. Later when Siu Chai performed a concert, she suddenly ran onto the stage to hug him. She even held onto her neck so tight that he could not breathe. The guards removed her, but at the time she was convulsing. Siu Chai was not comfortable with that, so when he changed he asked the guard about the girl. The guard however told him that she had a great figure. Siu Chai did not know whether to laugh or to cry. Later she received medical treatment and since then Siu Chai never saw her again. Did Siu Chai felt that this time was minor? He said, "I don't know, I don't want to think about it!"

Siu Chai grew out his facial hair when the promotion began and said that a director had to be manlier. He wanted to see how much longer he could grow it after the promotion. Lead actress Shu Qi rarely participated in the promotion. Siu Chai explained that she went to make a movie in Europe, but she will attend the Hong Kong premiere. The film earlier opened in the Mainland. Despite the good word of mouth, many said that it had too few showings. Siu Chai helplessly said, "I am not familiar with the cinema circuits and businesses, oh well. Now many circuits are investing in film themselves and scheduling their own films, so I don't have even 1/10, which directly affected the box office performance. If I make another movie, I have to first handle the sales method." He revealed that his parents have already seen this film and praised him for putting his heart and effort into it, and they gave it a passing grade. He also said that his biggest hope was to make a movie that would be able to touch viewers in three lands on both sides of the strait.
