The World AIDS Day promotion and anti AIDS discrimination documentary TOGETHER two nights ago held its premiere at the Beijing Foreign Language University. Director Gu Changwei led the documentary creators and LIFE IS A MIRACLE (MOR SHOOK OI JUEN) leads Zhang Ziyi, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Jiang Wenli, Pu Cunxin and others in attendance to urge the community to oppose AIDS patient discrimination.

Jiang Wenli revealed that as early as 2004 she thought about making about film or television product about AIDS. Later with the Health Department's and Gu Changwei's help the film LIFE IS A MIRACLE and the documentary TOGETHER were born. This time six AIDS patients played certain roles in the film or worked as a regular worker. The team even documented how three patients worked with him and their lives. They also interviewed many AIDS patients who were unwilling to show their faces. Through chats or hidden identity they discussed how they caught the disease and their life conditions. As the character in the film said, "No matter how he got sick, people with AIDS actually are all innocent." They needed people's concern and not discrimination.

Three patients who bravely appeared on camera two nights ago also appeared in person and shared the film and documentary production experience. Old Xiao worked as a lighting double. The only 12 year old Taotao played a key figure in LIFE IS A MIRACLE. Gu Changwei, Zhang Ziyi, Kwok Fu Sing and others hug and shook hands with them. Playing an AIDS couple with Sing Sing in LIFE, Zhang Ziyi was asked whether she was afraid. Zhang Ziyi honestly said, "Of course I am not worried. During the shoot we are all actors and workers. When we are with the patients we no longer have you and I. Hopefully this documentary will be able to urge everyone to care about them."
