Jackie Chan will direct and star in the 100th film of his career, 1911 (XINHAI REVOLUTION). His costume look was unveiled yesterday. According to the crew, Jackie Chan is currently working on the film, which will wrap at the end of the month. To commemorate the Xinhai Revolution 100th anniversary, it plans to be released around the National Day and ahead of FOUNDING OF A PARTY. Some critics claimed that Jackie Chan did not resemble Huang Xing and in the story his age was not 40 year while Jackie Chan is already 56. To resemble the character more, Jackie Chan deliberately cut his hair short and grew facial hair. The film revealed that Jackie Chan's role was major, second only to the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen role. His salary will be the box office profit sharing that international actor was used to. His son Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming) also starred, making his first appearance in a film that his father directed.
