The film OVERHEARD 2 (SIT TING FUNG WON 2) yesterday held a press conference at the Shanghai Film Festival. Two directors Alan Mak Siu Fai and Felix Chong Man Keung, Huang Yi, Lau Ching Wan along with the film's "Land Owner Club" trio of tycoons Kenneth Tsang Kong, Wu Fung and Lok Ying Kwan attended. Speaking of the difference between the sequel and the original, Mak Siu Fai pointed out that this film had no certain connection to OVERHEARD. Only the title and the surveillance elements remained. This time aside from Louis Koo Tin Lok, Lau Ching Wan and Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho), the cast also included four veterans Tsang Kong, Kong Ngai, Wu Fung and Lok Ying Kwan. They along with Lau Ching Wan created the "Land Owner Club" of the stock market.
Chong Man Keung pointed out that the "Land Owner Club" was like the stock market's "Heaven Earth Club". In the "Land Owner Club" both Tsang Kong and Lok Ying Kwan have played Wong Yeuk Si in THE LEGEND OF THE CONDOR HEROES (SEH DIU YING HUNG JUEN), Kong Ngai played the leader of the Jiangnan Seven Strange Or Chun Ngok, they appeared in various 80s and 90s version of THE LEGEND OF THE CONDOR HEROES and THE RETURN OF THE
CONDOR HEROES (SUN DIU HUP NUI), Tsang Kong and Kong Ngai worked with Lau Ching Wan on the classic Hong Kong series GREED OF MAN (DAI SI DOI). Wu Fung 16 years ago worked with Lau Ching Wan on the film SEA ROOT (HOI GUNG). When asked how Lau Ching Wan turned enemies into an organization this time, Tsang Kong said that it proved Ching Wan matured a lot. When he was in GREED OF MAN, he did not heed the words of the elders and thus suffered a lot. This time in the film under their protection, Ching Wan got rich. Four tycoons of "Land Owner Club" gathered on the Bund. Kong Ngai due to a family matter could not attend and left the three. Ching Wan this time worked with GREED OF MAN enemies Tsang Kong and Kong Ngai and said that this time together did not mean that they were not at odds. "Land Owner Club" has both good and bad people, the story between them would not be so simple.
