[2013.11.03] CHIN SIU HO STOPS MAKING VAMPIRE FILMS

Chin Siu Ho yesterday attended the film forum. He was very happy that his film RIGOR MORTIS (GEUNG SI) was a box office hit. "Many 20 something youngsters who said that they have not seen MR. VAMPIRE (GEUNG SI SIN SUN) deliberately looked for it to watch again." When asked about a sequel, he said, "After the honor of MR. VAMPIRE last time, the burden was too heavy. I had to keep making several vampire films. This time I have to rest for a year or so."

Speaking of Juno Mak Chun Lung's new film, he said that Juno has talked about him about the script. "However nothing is set yet." He also revealed that Juno had eight scripts on his hand. "He wrote them all himself, he is very talented."

Earlier RIGOR MORTIS was selected for the 2013 Melbourne Film Festival. Juno yesterday said online that because the scheduling conflict with the Golden Horse Award he will be unable to attend the festival in Australia.
