Louis Koo Tin Lok yesterday attended the opening of an American skin care store. Speaking of director Johnnie To Kei Fung's musical film being interested in him because of his decent singing voice, Goo Jai was reluctant. "The character has to sing and dance, and the sound recording is live. It's very difficult, I feel the challenge would be enormous. I am afraid of singing and dancing, even the lines had to be sung. So I have to seriously consider it before taking the role." He normally practiced singing at the karaoke box, but if he would take the musical film role, he would definitely have to study singing with instructors.
His THE WHITE STORM (SO DUK) transgender co-star Poyd was fond of Goo Jai. Goo Jai avoided the topic. "I only heard that the director was interested in a new film with the original team, but on th set I was quieter and spoke very little." He hinted that he and Poyd were not familiar.
