Nick Cheung Ka Fai's directing debut HUNGRY GHOST RITUALS (YU LAN SUN GUNG) had a good opening. After two days in release it already made 3.71 million. Because Ka Fai was working on FROM VEGAS TO MACAU 2 (DOH SING FUNG WON 2) in Thailand, he sent two lead actresses Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau) and Carrie Ng Ka Lai to the cinemas for audience appreciation. Sum Yau said that the film's good box office performance surprised everyone very much. This was Ka Fai's first "BB", he was very happy that everyone supported him. Unfortunately Ka Fai due to work could not celebrate together with them. Will she ask Ka Fai to take them to a feast? She said that earlier she asked Ka Fai to take everyone to the Maldives for a holiday in hopes of him displaying his six pack abdominal muscles again. However she knew that this was impossible. Speaking of Ka Fai's abdominal muscles already returning to one piece, she said that he could very quickly train them back. This was sacrifice for box office. She said that she was working hard on her vest line, but the coach pointed out that she would not see any result until half a year and without diet coordination. Would she display her successful training results in a bikini? She said that she would not need to wear a bikini. She felt that beauty only came from not being deliberate. Would she consider publishing a photo book? She said that would depend on the results, but if she would it would be expressed in a healthy way.
Ng Kai Lai wore black to coordinate with the film's theme and joked that she resembled the Addams Family. She and Ka Fai had no scene together, but she praised him as a fitting director. Perhaps due to his rich performance experience, he was able to have a great grasp on the film. She has directed the horror film ANGEL WHISPERS (FA GAI LAU HONG) herself. She pointed out that she could go very far in the film. Perhaps normally she was too ordinary, she had no way to release her inside. She joked that she hoped to become the female Hitchcock in the future, thus while making this film she learned from Ka Fai as well.
