According to Mainland media, in the first season this year from January to April 5th the Mainland box office has already broken through the 10 billion RMB (around HK$ 12.5 billion) and can break the 2010 total box office of 10.17 billion RMB. In the first season this year Mainland film occupied 60% and around 6.5 billion yuan RMB while import film occupied almost 2.7 billion RMB. The Chow Yun Fat starred Lunar New Year film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU 2 (DOH SING FUNG WON II) led the Mainland box office with 980 million MRB. The Jackie Chan starred DRAGON BLADE with 740 million RMB came in third.
