Chrissie Chau Sau Na with her film 29+1 won the Chinese Film Best Actress at the 6h Gorden Film Award in Taiwan, defeating THE BOLD, THE CORRUPT, AND THE BEAUTIFUL's Kara Wai Ying Hung and LOVE EDUCATION's Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga); 29+1 also won the Chinese Film Best Adapted Screenplay (Kearen Pang Sau Wai).
The Gordon Award is a Taiwan film critic organized award. Sister Na was very happy to learn that she won Best Actress. It was a recognition and an encouragement from everyone of her performance. She said that she was very lucky to have the chance to play this character. This award increased her confidence in the Hong Kong Film Awards. She said that if she will receive a nomination, she will buy a new car as a gift to herself.
