[2019.01.09] RINGO LAM'S FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO KEEP HIS SERVICES PRIVATE

Director Ringo Lam Lan Tung passed away at home at the end of last month at age 63. His family today began services for him in Po Fook Hill in Shatin with the funeral to take place the next day. Because the famly would like a low key event, they have declined any visit from family and friends, reminded everyone that no floral arrangement and offerings would be necessarily, and were grateful for condolences from colleagues and friends.

Lam Lan Tung's friends Johnnie To Kei Fung, Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga) and others formed a memorial committee and will host a memorial for Lam Lan Tung on the 26th at 3PM at Central. The memorial also would decline any floral arrangement. Friends would only need to dress in bright and light clothing. Because Director Lam loved film, cigar and red wine, the memorial would like everyone to leave their sorrow behind and remember him with a drink.
