In one of the MY PRINCE EDWARD (GUM DOH) posters, a bride in a gas mask with guns in both hands prepared for battle at the Golden Plaza near the Prince Edward MTR station. It reminded people of last year's anti legislation storm. Was the film making connection to politics? Norris Wong Yi Lam said that it has nothing to do with politics and was purely coincidental. That poster was a visual concept preview poster that was created for when she participated in the First Feature Film Initiative. At the time the anti legislation storm has not occurred yet. She said, "I grew up in the Prince Edward district, my residence was exactly across the street from the Golden Plaza. When I was little and walked past the shopping center's bridal shops, I thought the wedding gowns were very beautiful. I was full of fantasy and longing for my future marriage, but after growing up I realized that marriage isn't as simple as wearing a wedding gown. It has a lot of troublesome matters. For example I have heard some sisters argued with their boyfriends or future mother in law over something trivial, they also had difference of opinion and conflict with their own family. The original intent of the creation was to say that a woman's marriage was like a hard fought battle on the battlefield. Did you have to get married after dating someone for a long time? It would enable the audience to consider marriage from different angles. At the conception of this poster, the actors haven't even been auditioned yet. It was purely for competition purpose. The release would use the poster with (Stephy) Tang Lai Yun in a Chinese wedding dress holding a wedding gown."
