The "Police Supporting" artists Mat Yeung Ming, Raymond Cho Wing Lim, Lisa Ch'ng Si Ming, Jacquelin Chong Si Man and Glen Lee Lam Yan starred film WE CONNECT (SI DOI) began production in July this year and involved the sensitive subjects of police and civilian conflict and violent protests. Earlier the production company on its official facebook account released its trailer, which listed a September 7th release. However actually the film has not yet been released. Later it posted that WE CONNECT will be released at Cinema City circuit's cinemas on November 6th, but the Raymond Wong Pak Ming founded Cinema City yesterday morning on facebook issued a statement of denial, saying that it has not arranged any showing for WE CONNECT. Yeung Ming, Chong Si Man, Lee Lam Yan all said that they have not followed up with the film company for a better understanding and that they only did their parts as actors.

Many online have been concerned with the release date of the film WE CONNECT (SI DOI) due to its sensitive subject. Earlier the production company on its official facebook account released the WE CONNECT trailer, which listed its release date as September 7th. Those online thought that was strange because the film has not yet been released.

The production company's official facebook account two nights ago posted, "WE CONNECT will open on November 6th 2020 at all Cinema City circuit cinemas." Only the Raymond Wong Pak Ming founded Cinema City yesterday morning at 3:38AM on facebook issued a statement in denial, "Due to the overwhelming amount of inquiries about the film WE CONNECT's release, all cinemas under this company has not arranged for any shows for the film WE CONNECT. If you are interested in the film, please confirm the release date and screening locations on your own. All films that Cinema City is playing or will play soon will be confirmed on this company's official page and ticketing applications. All other online ruomrs and false information has nothing to do with this company." WE CONNECT's official facebook account later corrected its post, removing the words "at all Cinema City circuit cinemas".

Yeung Ming in WE CONNECT again played a cop, his girlfriend Lisa Ch'ng Si Ming played a news anchor, Jacquelin Chong Si Man played a magazine publisher, Lee Lam Yan played a father, the trailer had many protests and police and civilian conflict scenes.

Due to the different version of film release date and cinema scheduling arrangements, Yeung Ming said that he has not followed up with the film company for a better understanding. Chong Si Man said something similar, feeling actors could only do their part. Lee Lam Yan said that he was not worried, actors have already done their jobs after they worked hard on every scene.
