Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Shaun Tam Ka Chun two days ago worked on their new film in Tsim Sha Tsui two days ago and shot a large scale gun fight and explosion scene. The two became very anxious. Before taking their marks, Ka Fai rehearsed in front of the camera while Tam Chun Yin seriously made preparations before hand.
Cheung Ka Fai, Tam Chun Yin, Bryant Mak Chi Lok and others two days ago worked on their film BAU LIT DIM (EXPLOSION POINT) in Tsim Sha Tsui. Mak Chi Lok with a gun in each hand left a van, grabbed a man by the neck from behind and pointed a gun at his head. Then he exchanged fire with the police. The sound of gunfire on the scene was deafening as the crowd on the street had to cover their ears. In a bulletproof vest Cheung Ka Fai fired a shot into the air from the streets and chased Mak Chi Lok in the scene. Ka Fai before taking his mark rehearsed in front of the camera.
Shooting a gun fight in the city this time, the team was very careful. The set had specialized management of the armed team. Before each shoot they first inspected the weapons before handing them to Ka Fai and Mak Chi Lok. As soon as the cameras stopped rolling they would retrieve the weapons.
After the gun fight scene, they turned to the major car explosion scene. The team prepared a blue car with four doors removed. Tam Chun Yin looked on during the break. While the team removed the car doors he also watched from the sideline.
The shoot attracted many onlookers. During the preparation, a child intensely screamed, "Don't blow anyone up!" When the official "car explosion" took place, the explosion sound was extremely loud, the flame shot up over 10 meters high and filled the location with smoke. Due to the extreme realism of the effects, some pedestrians were frightened and the police car came by to get an understanding. After the cameras stopped, the staff rapidly put out the fire. Then they shot lead actress Isabella Leong Lok Si losing her mind after the car exploded. Although she has not acted in awhile, her acting has not deteriorated as she screamed out of control on the streets.
