The Lunar New Year films HIT N FUN (LUM SI KUET DAU), MY BEST BET (CHEUNG DOH BIT YANG) and QUEEN OF MAHJONG (MA JEUK NUI WONG JUI NAM JAI) were all released on the twenty-ninth day before the new year (January 28th). HIT N FUN broke HK$ 5 million as of yesterday, ranking as the opening box office champion , and expecting to become more and more popular. MY BEST BET accumulated a box office of HK$ 4 million; QUEEN OF MAHJONG has not been announced its box office numbers.

Louise Wong Dan Nei played the female boxing champion in HIT N FUN. In addition to receiving harsh training, she also had to go to the Macau Studio City Water Park to challenge the 20-meter-high water slide, The Highpoint Twister. The film company recently released behind-the-scenes footage. In the video, she was so frightened that all her limbs were trembling nonstop but she still insisted on finishing the shoot. "I have been afraid of heights since I was a child. I can spin and swing, but any vertical centrifugal force ride isn't for me. I can deal with roller coasters. Because it goes forward, I can see what is happening. I was really scared during this shoot." Before filming, Wong Dan Nei was so nervous that her heart rate shot up. When she reached the top to prepare for the slide, she cried. "I'm really very scared!" Although she landed on the ground in less than 10 seconds, she was screaming bloody murder. After landing she still needed to pick up Tony Wu Tsz Tung's dialogue. After completing the shoot, she admitted that she felt numbness in her fingers and tremors in her hands. She cried and said, "The moment I slid down was really horrifying, I was so cold that my hands and whole body were stiff. I couldn't control my emotions. I tried to open my eyes, but I really couldn't open them." Wong Dan Nei was exposed to Muay Thai and action scenes for the first time in the film. Although she was blood deficient and prone to bruises, she insisted on real fighting in order to achieve realistic results.

As for the Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin (Ah Sa), Louis Cheung Kai Chung, Tommy Chu Pak Hong and Stanley Yau Si Chun starred MY BEST BET (CHEUNG DOH BIT YANG), Kay Tse On Kay and Kaki Sham made surprise cameos as a gambling goddess and a blind gambler respectively. Kay and Ah Sa played the "decisive battle of Chinese Poker" at the gaming table in the film, and the former said, "I don't know how to play Chinese Poker myself, so I have to rely on Ah Sa to teach me how to build a hand. In addition, the director asked a beautiful magician to teach me how to shuffle the cards on the spot. It wasn't too difficult to learn, and I took half a meal break to learn." Kaki Sham was happy to have a scene with Ah Sa. The two had to fight against gambling addiction, and the scene was hilarious.
