The Ronald Cheng Chung Kei and Mark Wu Yiu Fai co-directed and starred movie ATONEMENT (AH LUNG) wrapped up production in 2018 and will be released in April this year. In the past six months Cheng Chung Kei had a "manager turmoil", and revealed that he was suffering from depression and alcoholism. His wife accompanied him to the United States to quit drinking. His YouTube channel, RTV (Running Television), has lost its soul, and its artists occasionally made new videos. The movie tells the story of Ah Lung (Cheng Chung Kei) and his 8-year-old daughter (Fu Shun Ying) going on vacation in Thailand, and local human trafficking syndicate abducts his daughter. Ah Lung risks everything and becomes an avenger with blood on his hands. From creation to the birth of the film, Cheng Chung Kei's most difficult task is to train a strong body, and experience weight gain and weight loss in half a year. In the special feature on the production, his fitness process is fully exposed. Before the filming of ATONEMENT, Cheng Chung Kei spent half a year on training. The hardest thing was to keep eating, otherwise he would not be muscular enough. Later he began to diet to slim down, only eating chicken breasts. He even ran for his physical fitness. Cheng Chung Kei was not satisfied with his state, but the boss and Wu Yiu Fai were. He also could not tell the production team to keep waiting.
