The Emperor Motion Picture THE LAST DANCE (POR. DEI YUK) extended version will be released on April 4th on the Ching Ming Festival, with a length of 139 minutes and as many as 12 minutes of never-before-released footage will be presented to the audience. Emperor Motion Pictures announced that the ticket price for the extended version will be HK$80 (certain cinemas excluded, please check cinema websites for details), and part of the proceeds from the extended version will be donated to the charity Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. Commenting on the significance of the extended version release, director Anselm Chan Mou Yin said, "THE LAST DANCE is a testament to the relationship between people and the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals' charitable work that has spared no effort to bring people from different backgrounds in the community closer together. I am particularly pleased to thank the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals for their support and support during the production stage in the form of 'Extending. Reduction'." Lead actress Michelle Wai Sze Nga said, "I remember that at audience appreciation events, the audience friends have been calling for the release of the extended version. In the blink of an eye the director has already prepared this version with more story details and the relationship between the characters. I have learned that part of the box office revenue would be donated to charity, which feels so meaningful. Now there are even more reasons to go to the theaters again!" Actress Catherine Chau Ka Yee said, "During the filming, I visited Tung Wah Coffin Home and International Funeral Parlor and felt that the venues provided a lot of kind help. I think it's a great idea that this extended release will deepen this relationship and extend the relationship between the film and the audience."
In addition, THE LAST DANCE team recently appeared at the iSQUARE Emperor Cinema in Tsim Sha Tsui to enjoy the extended version of THE LAST DANCE for the first time, with the full support of the New Territories General Chamber of Commerce and the Care of Rehabilitated Offenders Association. Emperor Group chief Albert Yeung Sau Sing led actors Tommy Chu Pak Hong, Chau Ka Yee, Elaine Jin (Kam Yin Ling), Kaki Sham, Elly Lam, Polly Lau Yeuk Bo, Kiki Cheung Hoi Kei and others in attendance. As this year's Hong Kong Film Awards Best Supporting Actor favorite, Chu Pak Hong was very popular at the scene. He revealed that he was full of anticipation for the extended version. "In the extended version my character would have even richer relationship with other characters, so I very much look forward to sharing with everyone on the silver screen." Appearing for the first time in the extended version, Kaki was greatly excited. Having worked with director Chan Mou Yin on their film READY O/R KNOT (BUT YUT SING FUN), he said, "I am very honored to appear in director Chan Mou Yin's work again." He was able to fulfill his dream of working with his idol Dayo Wong Tze Wah.
