Studied film in college, Yan Ting Chau two years ago revealed that he was preparing to write and direct his first film that would be based on the Hong Kong mystery "Rainy Night Butcher" Lam Gor Wan, THE NIGHT STALKER (YU YEH JI TOH). At the time he said that he has invited very prominent actors to participate, with the producer of the Dayo Wong Tze Wah starred AGENT MR. CHAN (DONG DUK DUT GUNG) Chan Wing Lun as the producer. Chau Yan Ting said, "THE NIGHT STALKER is not remaking the past case, but what would happen if the case would happen today? I can't reveal too much for now, but it will definitely have a huge impact on everyone."

Tin Kai Man recently attended an event and mentioned that several new films would be coming to fruition, revealing that Dayo Wong Tze Wah would be working on new director Chau Yan Ting's movie. Photos of Wong Tze Wah and Simon Yam Tat Wah having a private chat with Chau Yan Ting and a man with their backs to the camera circulated online. T The man was reportedly producer Chan Wing Lun, making people think that the prominent actors Chau Yan Ting said to have invited to participate in THE NIGHT STALKER (YU YEH JI TOH) were Wong Tze Wah and Yam Tat Wah. Chau Ya Ting has not responded yet, but people online are already very excited about the roles Wong Tze Wah and Yam Tat Wah would play. Yam Tat Wah played Lam Gor Yu in 'DR. LAMB' in 1992, with the character based on Lam Kwok Wan himself.
