Dance King and Golden Horse Best Actor Aaron Kwok Fu Sing's break up may have to do with his good friend Charlie Yeung Choi Nei! Last year Sing Sing worked on the Yeung Choi Nei directed CHRISTMAS ROSE (SING DAN MUI GWAI). The film depicted a human nature struggle that affected his soul more or less. Sing Sing said that the movie changed his thinking. He hoped that everyone would be able to resolve the knots in their hearts and felt that "they should not live in conditions that were unsuitable". He even compared love to "shoes", hinting that the 32 year old Lynn was not "right" and leaving his feet scratched up and bloodied. Thus he decided to "take off the shoes" for them both. "When a pair of shoes isn't right, it makes your feet uncomfortable all day. You too want to change into a more comfortable pair. We have to walk everyday so it's like a companion, we should find a right pair before putting it on. At least it wouldn't crush us. If we force it on we would only bleed and the wound wouldn't close. Finding another pair may be even better. I think like that even in the romantic world!"

Sing Sing continued to explain "no happiness from forcing things" with Buddhism, feeling that "letting go than persisting on" is more right sentiment. "People with gray thinking can lose themselves. If you can think for other people, hoping that they would live even better, this type of release will definitely be peace to the world if everyone think like this." Although he had such a tolerant world view, the Buddhist Sing Sing did not feel he was noble and absolutely would not become a monk. He only felt that Buddhism made him differentiate between right and wrong and taught him to turn sorrow into strength.

In the film he lost his father and he was in full command of his performance. Sing Sing said that he did not inject any personal feeling and purely started from the angle of the character. He also said that the real him absolutely would not cry. "I am a very strong person, no matter how heart broken I am I wouldn't shed a tear. I would suppress it inside and only release it in movies." He also praised Yeung Choi Nei was in full control in her directing debut, making a fully commercial film about sexual assault. He praised her as very sharp.

Yeung Choi Nei directed for the first time with the film CHRISTMAS ROSE and even asked her good friend Kwok Fu Sing for help as the lead. They have known each other for over 20 years.
