[2013.11.05] JUNO MAK'S CATEGORY III RIGOR MORTIS BREAKS 10 MILLION

Juno Mak Chun Lung's directing debut RIGOR MORTIS (GEUNG SI) after 11 days in release made HK$ 11 million in Hong Kong and Macau. The daily take of 1 million encouraged many.

Juno said, "After everyone learn about the category III version, the interest in RIGOR MORTIS is even greater. Some cinemas contacted us directly as they would rather show both the category II B and III versions together, which was quite a surprise." He also said that the film's overseas performance was ideal. "At least 80% have been sold. Actually some investors are already talking about a sequel, but I feel my choice for the next film won't be a similar subject. In addition I have scripts of other topics on my hands."

Although the film was a box office hit, Juno still humbly said, "The success should belong to the entire production team. The list of names I have to thank is really too long.
