The Herman Yau Lai To directed TURNING POINT (LAUGHING GOR ji BIN JIT) two nights ago held a premiere. Actors Michael Tse Tin Wa, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Francis Ng Chun Yu, Felix Wong Yat Wa, Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Koni Lui Wai Yi and Lorretta Chow Mei Yun attended. Nearly 100 TVB artists came in support. Chau Sun was in great spirits when he walked the red carpet with Lui Wai Yi and Chow Mei Yun, but he suddenly left the premiere. Chau Sun was angry that the cinema had no seat left and said, "If you don't know how to do it, don't do it. I was standing there like a moron!"
Chau Sun was dressed in white and arrived with his co-stars Lui Wai Yi and Chow Mei Yun in tow. During interviews Chau Sun took great care of the two beauties and was in good spirit. Chau Sun was asked whether he felt indulged. He joked, "Very indulged. I don't know what to say. Chow Mei Yun is an Asia beauty, Lui Wai Yi is a very pretty mermaid." Did Chau Sun have any intimate scenes with them? He joked that holding hands now was already very intimate and joked that he too would like a kiss scene. He said, "I am sweating just from talking about it, the more I think about it the happier I am." The film earlier held an advanced screening and many praised Chau Sun as rather scene stealing. He said, "What about Chun Yu? He is the same way!" Did Chau Sun feel bad about stealing scenes from Tse Tin Wa? He only said, "No one really stole from anyone, everyone played an appropriate part."
After the ceremony Chau Sun went to the premiere but suddenly left and blasted, "I have a ticket but no seat. (Are you a key actor and you don't?) Now I am a big extra." Was Chau Sun very angry? He said, "Take a look at me and tell me if I am mad." Would Chau Sun speak with executive Stephen Chan Chi Wan? Chau Sun said, "Of you don't know how to do it then they shouldn't do it. I had no seat, standing there like a moron, I didn't know what I was doing!" Later, TVB's Tsang Sing Ming said, "Chau Sun was joking, we definitely reserved seats for key actors. (No one took care of Chau Sun?) Sure, but I wasn't there. Let Ms. Lok (Elaine Lok Yi Ling) explain to Chau Sun please."
Ng Chun Yu was a lead as well, but two nights ago curiously he appeared in a causal denim look. Unlike Chau Sun and Tse Tin Wa he did not have any beauty with him. As for Chau Sun stealing the show, he joked, "He has a license to, Chau Sun is familiar with the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. They didn't approve my application." As for the numerous claim that Chun Yu and Chau Sun stole more scenes than Tse Tin Wa, Chun Yu said they welcomed Tin Wa's comeback to film and added effort." Tse Tin Wa excitedly held Fala Chen's hand and said that he felt like it was his wedding, with so many guests and red carpet.
Chi Wai said that someone greeted him at the premiere and revealed that Chau Sun left early because he had an appointment. As for Chau Sun jokingly called himself a big extra, Chi Wai joked, "He has always been the big extra, never the lead. His role is nice, with a Miss Hong Kong candidate in his arm in every scene. We were all raging with envy." As for a magazine report that Sammo Hung Kam Bo was hospitalized for a heart bypass surgery, Chi Wai revealed that the operation was completed and Sammo returned home to rest. "This time should be minor. Today I originally want to meet him for dinner but because I have to attend an event I cancel. (How is Shing Fui On?) OK, he switched hospitals because he was following his primary doctor."
Lui Wai Yi said that working with Chau Sun was very stressful. Later she and Chow Mei Yun praised Chau Sun as very cool. She said, "Chau Sun isn't mean at work. When we see him he is very sweet."
