The trailer was only 50 seconds long, but the leads Joe Odagiri and Maggie Q's passionate love scene still flashed by. In comparison to Tian Zhuangzhuang's two previous films SPRING TIME IN A SMALL TOWN and THE GO MASTER, the visual style alone is drastically different. Yet Tian Zhuangzhuang disagreed that it was his "first commercial transition". He expressed that commercial film in China still does not have a standard answer. As for his own films, "I will respect the audience but won't consider it a commercial film, it still is still a drama." The actors Joe Odagiri, Maggie Q and Tou Chung Hua did not appear. Tian Zhuangzhuang first brought the wolf head and revealed that it was a 100% original import that was invaluable.
