The Pang Ho Cheung directed, Chapman To Man Jat and DaDa Chen Jing starred film VULGARIA (DAI JOOK HEI KET) will be released two days from now (August 9), but over the past 3 weekends 58 advanced screenings and audience appreciation events have taken place. Pang Ho Cheung earlier went to Causeway Bay President Theatre for audience appreciation and asked whether any of the viewers came from overseas, a woman in the front row raised her hand and said that she came from Taiwan. She turned out to the YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE "Goddess" Michelle Chen.
Actually Michelle Chen came to work in Hong Kong and took time to watch VULGARIA. When she posed with Pang Ho Cheung for pictures, she praised the film as being entertaining and funny. Pang Ho Cheung was happy that even a female Taiwan star would feel the authentic VULGARIA was entertaining and funny.
Pang Ho Cheung and Ah Jat brought one of the leads Ah Soh the donkey on patrol. Actually they were two very realistic prop donkeys. The guys brought the donkeys to an audience appreciation event, but viewers were so excited that they screamed for Ah Jat to perform the scene with the donkey live. Ah Jat joked, "Don't go overboard, for 70 bucks you got a movie and a show, what else do you want?"
