Korean star Ji Jin-Hee two nights ago attended an event at Central. Reportedly, earlier when Ji Jin-Hee came to Hong Kong to work on a movie with Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Choi Si-Won. Although Hong Kong had plenty of great food, those who dined with Ji Jin-Hee said that he often did not eat. Once he dined with Choi Si-Won, Shawn Yue Man Lok and Cheung Ka Fai and he only had a few bites. "At dinner Ji Jin-Hee only asked Cheung Ka Fai how he trained to be muscular. He also asked some of the workers who were in shape how they maintained their figure. Very obviously he wanted to look better on camera and not to be too far off from Ka Fai and Choi Si-Won."
Because Ji Jin-Hee had a lot of action scenes in Hong Kong, the diet actually made him faint once. The crew had to call for an ambulance and send him to the hospital. The doctor said that his blood sugar was low and luckily he was fine. As soon as Ji Jin-Hee recovered he returned to work.
When asked, Cheung Ka Fai said, "How can I not know, he fainted right in front of me. (Do you know if he fainted from starving himself?) I am not going to say anything about other people, just that at the time I saw him faint. I was stunned for a moment and immediately gave him a hand."
Although the film has been completed, Ji Jin-Hee continued to stay in shape. He revealed that on this tripe he dined with Jacky Cheung Hok Yau, Michelle Yeoh (Yeung Chi King) and director Andrew Lau Wai Keung, but they did not discuss any collaboration. He would like to work with Lau Wai Keung and make a film like INFERNAL AFFAIRS (MO GAN DOH).
