As "Korea's daughter in law" Tang Wei has become very popular with the local media at the Busan Film Festival and she was very happy. Yesterday her husband Kim Tae-Yong held a film forum there, Tang Wei made a surprise appearance in support. Tang Wei shared her film experience while Kim Tae-Yong listened attentively.
Famous Taiwan director Doze Niu Chen-Zer's film PARADISE IN SERVICE was invited to the 19th Busan International Film Festival as the opening film. The tickets were sold out in two minutes.
Director Doze ran into THE GOLDEN ERA's director Hui On Wa and actress Tang Wei yesterday. Director Hui praised PARADISE as "very, very good!" and gave the director a shot of confidence.
Director Doze led actors Ethan Juan (Yuen King Tin), Ivy Chen, Chen Jianbin and Regina Wan to promote by the sea and make cute and funny poses. Later they attended a film event for half a hour. The audience's response was enthusiastic. Director Doze said in great spirits, "Korean girls are great, I am single!" Some female fans held up signs for Siu Tin in Chinese. Some even lined up overnight to get tickets.
