Yesterday the cast and the director Danny Pang Fat distributed film extra in Causeway Bay. Chiu Shek Chi dressed the sexiest yesterday. She expressed that she was not afraid of being taken advantage of because security was on hand the entire time. She said that she lived in Happy Valley for ten years, when she was little she often went to Causeway Bay. Was she the sexiest? She said no, Causeway Bay's climate was warmer. Other artists were prettily dressed too. Did she try to steal the show? She said, "No, I never thought of that." Chiu Shek Chi expressed that it was her first extra distribution in Causeway Bay and she was very lucky to promote her first film.

Cheng Yung once was harassed at a public event. Would she be more careful? She expressed that now she would look around and be very afraid. Ultimately Causeway Bay was wide open and busy, but the company had several co-workers to protect her. Cheng Yung pointed out that director Pang Fat just asked her whether she was scared and that he would protect her. As soon as she started distributing, the director looked at her from afar and he was all talk. Cheng Yung expressed that although she had to extend her arm to distribute the extras, she would cover her chest with a big pile of extras. She honestly said that she deliberately dressed conservatively to protect her.

Kong Yeuk Lam had the most fan support yesterday. She said that in the busy city safety was the most important so she left being sexy to other actors! Instead she regretted to wear too much clothes because she was a little hot. Kong Yeuk Lam said that Causeway Bay felt safer than Kowloon and should not have any harassment incident. Kong Yeuk Lam said that one of the extra's headline was her being arrested for "prostitution". She said that younger colleagues just played a prank on her and told everyone on the streets that she was arrested. Actually it was just a film promotional gimmick. She expressed that she was not afraid of any misunderstanding.

Other attendees included executive producer Zhang Zhan, director Herman Yau Lai To and screen writer Wong Chi Wun (Wong Pak Ming's son). Many Mainland and Hong Kong media covered the event. With the tourists the venue was very crowded.

Kwan Yu rushed from her MEI LAI MUK LING shoot in Guangzhou to Hengdian, rested a few hours then immediately began to work. She honestly said that she has not been lacking sleep in a long time. Producer and actor Wong Pak Ming was not worried that Kwan Yu's workload would affect her performance because she was a professional actor. He even joked that she already returned to "Nine Production Ng". As for salary, Kwan Yu said that she got a raise but it was discounted. Kwan Yu has worked with Wong Pak Ming many times but they never had any intimate scene. This time she had to force a kiss on Wong Pak Ming, which came Wong Chi Wun's hands. He joked, "Giving the Old Man a little benefit, Ma won't be mad!"

Cheng Chung Kei in the film will play a general who ends up with the Fa Tin princess Angelababy. Two days ago they shot a Chinese opera performance scene. Did they have any intimate scene? He said, "Chubby Chung messed it up every time!" Working in Hengdian for the first time, he said that the film will shoot until mid November but he will return to Hong Kong on his free time. baby was also working in Hengdian for the first time, and she was very happy about working with company colleague Lynn. Since she did not have much entertainment in Hengdian she went to bed early to nurture the skin. Although this time she played a princess, she had to cross dress, play rough and wear a beard. She joked that with a beard she saw her little brothers in ten years. She also looked forward very much to working with Kwan Yu because every one of her previous work was memorable to her. Did she dare to be like Kwan Yu and pick her nose? She laughed, "Yes, (pick and eat?) No." Although she could try anything in acting, she worried about upsetting fans if she was too daring. She also brought several cases of junk food, which she joked that she could sell to other actors. Did rumored boyfriend William Chan Wai Ting visit? She said, "He won't! He has so much work to do."

Lynn played Louis Koo Tin Lok's little sister who was mistaken to be the princess. Did she need to perform comedy? She said, "I am OK with comedy privately. (Are you worried that Hengdian is boring?) I have been here two days so I don't know if it's boring or not, but I brought a computer. (Will you msn with Aaron Kwok Fu Sing?) I will with many friends."

The 2009 Chinese film producer forum yesterday took place. When director Chu Yen-Ping gave the opening ceremony speech he described Taiwan films of recent years a "hot pot". He expressed, although the sparks were exciting "they were only exploding inside" and awaited resources to break out.

This forum invited Chinese film industry workers from three lands on both sides of the straits to gather in Taiwan and discuss Chinese film future direction. The event will last two days. Taiwan director Lee Heng, Lee Gang, Chu Yen-Ping and Hong Kong director Ng See Yuen participated; Mainland representatives director Lu Chuan, Zhao Haicheng, and Bo Rongrong could not arrive in Taiwan in time due to documentation issues.

Chu Yen-Ping expressed, in recent years he saw many new Taiwan directors made good films and deeply felt that Taiwan film had a soft substance. Yet the problem was that the Taiwan film industry was like a hot pot, only bubbling inside. Just completing the 500 million film TREASURE HUNTER (CHI LING), Chu Yen-Ping said that a movie in Taiwan cost around NT$10 million, but the Mainland film cost 500 to 600 million yuan. Taiwan directors should set their sight on the Mainland market and find funding from multiple sources.

DRUNKEN MASTER, NEW DRAGON INN producer Ng See Yuen mentioned that Hong Kong film experience stated that now is the best chance for Taiwan and Hong Kong film to break into the Mainland market, but it is also the last chance.

China film market's ample benefits are attracting more and more investors. Guangdong province film company chief Zhao Jun revealed that in the first nine months of this year, China's film box office has already exceeded 6 billion. The future market growth will be even more tempting. In order to gain even more market share, Guangdong province film company with its strong cinema circuits signed a contract with Stellar Megamedia Group Ltd. to expand cinema facilities in a joint venture.

Reportedly, in the first nine months of this year China film box office broke the 6 billion mark. Mainland China cinema numbers have already reached 1616. In terms of regions, Guangdong led all Chinese provinces. In terms of cities, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou were the top four.

However, Stellar Megamedia chief Qin Hong felt that although China's film market has been explosive, it remains small. In terms of future development it has enormous potential. China's future development direction will be making as much as the U.S. film market, the most important part of which will be cinema construction and expansion -- the source of the entire China film industry's revenue. Qin Hong expressed, although currently no one film company in the nation can rival industry giant China Film Group, industry collaborations will help China's film market.

The Stellar Megamedia production THE CITY OF LIFE AND DEATH was a hit, which made Lu Chuan one of China's 100 million yuan box office directors. He attended Stellar Megamedia and Guangdong province film company's collaboration agreement signing ceremony and revealed his future plans. Lu Chuan said, after THE CITY OF LIFE AND DEATH he had no intention to participate in the Lunar New Year film competition. He did not want to put himself completely on box office goals. He felt without the Lunar New Year box office film's enormous pressure, he can have even greater freedom to make movies. Another director Zhang Yang expressed that now he is working on the film NO ONE DRIVING that is expected to be released in June. He felt that box office revenue now has already become film director's most important measurement standard outside artistic creativity.
