Aside from Sean Lau Ching Wan, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Zhou Xun, Michelle Ye (Yip Suen) and Gordon Lam Ka Tung, Bona Film Group chief Yu Dong, Hong Kong directors Alan Mak Siu Fai and Felix Chong Man Keung also attended. The actors attended with their film costumes. The press conference mentioned the OVERHEARD 3 Hong Kong land baron group, which was also where the important parts of the film lay.

Zhou Xun was asked with which actor she had emotional scenes with, she said that she did not clearly say who she had a romantic scene with but the person she loved did not attend. Why did she not fall for Koo Tin Lok? She joked that she would always see him in the film. He was so handsome that each time she looked she would get dizzy. Lau Ching Wan was asked if he pursued Zhou Xun in the film, he put up a real estate businessman pose and expressed, "We are in business! We like every actress, whether we get them or not it is unimportant!"

At the press conference the OVERHEARD 3 film commemorative back pack was also announced. This back pack design ideas came from the leads. Koo Tin Lok said that he liked the color black, so his was black. Zhou Xun embraced the back pack as soon as she got it and mischievously said that it was very comfortable to hold. On the subway she could even use it as a pillow.

The Johnnie To Kei Fung and Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga) produced, To Kei Fung directed new film DESIGN FOR LIVING (WA LAI SEUNG BAN JOOK) yesterday held a press conference in Guangzhou. Attendees included Cheung Ngai Ga, stars Tang Wei and Eason Chan Yik Shun. The team even invited Chow Yun Fat to make a special appearance. The team included Luo Dayou, William Chang Suk Ping, Chan Fai Yeung and Lam Jik.

The classic team of To Kei Fung, Chow Yun Fat, Cheung Ngai Ga and Luo Dayou reunite for the first time in 25 years. A special video about their glorious performance in the 25 years since their first collaboration ALL ABOUT AH LONG (AH LONG DIK GOO SI) was shown. Unfortunately Fat Gor was busy in Hong Kong and was unable to attend the press conference. However he also recorded a video. Fat Gor said, "If I didn't perform in DESIGN FOR LIVING, it would be a regret in my years of acting." He even said that he was a To Kei Fung fan and urged everyone to watch this different To Kei Fung film.

Back then Lo Ta Yu created the theme song PERHAPS NOT EASY for ALL ABOUT AH LONG, and it remained a classic now. This time he would again be the music director for DESIGN. To Kei Fung said that he has known Lo Ta Yu for 25 years. They were both collaborators and great friends.

Cheung Ngai Ga said, "Fat Gor, Director To, Lo Ta Yu and I have been friends for several decades. Over the past 25 years, we have always been looking for opportunities to work together. Thus waiting for this reunion actually has been very tough." She also said that Fat Gor very quickly agreed. To Kei Fung revealed that Fat Gor and Cheung Ngai Ga's relationship in the film would not be like in ALL ABOUT AH LONG and THE LUCK, THE FUN, AND THE TYCOON (GUT SING GUNG JIU).

Eason and Tang Wei worked together for the first time in the film. They said that several years ago they already hoped to have a chance to work together. This time their dreams finally came true. Eason stated, "At first when I got the script, I saw David and Sophie had many scenes and immediately asked who would play her. When I learned Tang Wei would, I immediately agreed because I really admire her performance. In this film, our collaboration truly is somewhat different from past experience." Eason and Tang Wei even called each other god and goddess. When asked if they had to work in an office, what department would they work in? Eason joked that he wanted to work in catering, making coffee and tea to him was a huge challenge. Tang Wei wanted to try maintenance and sweep the floor.

Working with To Kei Fung for the first time, Tang Wie said that the pressure was enormous. She liked Director To's movies very much, but when she worked with him she was still rather tense from the beginning. She heard that Director To was very demanding and would yell at people. If she did not perform well, she might have "disaster ahead". Yet after the production started, she felt that Director To was not mean at all. With each scene he would very patiently instruct actors, sometimes he would even joke around with them.

The chameleon that appeared in the Queen's Road city model in the film ABERDEEN (HEUNG GONG JAI) actually is the director Pang Ho Cheung. The director joked, "Because at the time no one was willing to play this chameleon. In addition I felt that the chameleon's movements were very important. I was afraid that no one could understand the look that I wanted, so in the end I decided to perform myself." The team revealed that actually playing the chameleon was like the Ultraman vs. Godzilla movies from their childhood. Godzilla could freely destroy the city. The director had quite a connection to this and thus insisted on performing himself.

Pang Ho Cheung also hoped to have a scene to express the family in harmony, he felt that the best place was at McDonald's. Thus he hoped to win the apple tree that often accompanied his childhood seat. The team while scouting for location discovered that actually the entire chain no longer had that apple tree. The director in the end ordered the team to make it from scratch.

The director also wanted to put a whale in his film. This time he made a 1 to 1 scale, around 30 feet long whale that weighed over a ton, with hidden and complicated contraptions inside. It required human hands in the belly of the whale to control, to make the whale breathe and move. Thus it took a very long time to prepare. They asked an expert who specialized in whale behavior and took half a year in Thailand to make. Its transportation was also rather complicated. Because it was too heavy, it could only be shipped by cargo at sea to Hong Kong and then craned to the beach. The team also had to communicate with government departments. This whale was even more difficult to make than the entire film. At a certain film festival, Pang Ho Cheung by chance ran into STAR WARS director George Lucas. He immediately asked to have Storm Troopers appear in his film and finally got the permission for them to appear in ABERDEEN.

At the wrap banquet, popular Korean idol Han Geng appeared. Actually he was a part of the cast. Tsui Hark revealed, Han Geng played a member of the 203 Division. The character appeared during the script creation process to give viewers more connection to the 203 Division. Han Geng shot many scenes in the Xue Xiang, Maudanjiang in the Northeast and acted in almost thigh high snow. The process was very tough.

Tsui Hark revealed that TRACKS was one of the most dangerous films that he has ever made. The team worked in near 30 degrees below zero Celsius temperature. "We often needed to spend two hours to transport the equipment to the location before we could start, but daylight was very short. We constantly after battling the snow on the ground still has to battle time. In the end viewers will see the most intense and exciting action in the snow, but they won't see all the danger behind them."

Gigi yesterday still appeared in five inch heels despite her back injury. She said that she is already getting treatment but her doctor suggested for her to use contraception to avoid pressure on the pelvis from a pregnancy. She admitted that she had to slam on the brakes on her parenthood plan. She said that as a child she already had back pain, she also had frozen shoulder. Recently an x-ray showed that her vertebral column would need corrective treatment. She believed that it was from years of bad habit, actually being tall sometimes was not too convenient.

Gigi said that her doctor told her she would need two months to recover at the soonest. Now she needed treatment but during the period she needed contraception to keep the pregnancy from affecting her old wound. She admitted that her husband had a little hard time accepting that, but he was very attentive. Each night when she slept on her side he would lay her flat to prevent spinal injury. She admitted that she has not slept well every night, now even her sex life has been affected. She joked, "We are on turbo, now we have to apply the emergency brake. We can only let it up to fate!"

The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Gregory So Kam Leung urged the people of Hong Kong to tolerate Mainlanders who let their children relieve themselves in public. As a mother of one Chin Wa said that she has not read about that but she would try to take care of her son at home first before bringing him out. She also did not want to put everyone in the same category. Some of her Mainland friends were not like this. She believed it was only individual cases, not all Mainlanders were like this. If the government could provide more guidance then the matter would be better and much more balanced. Speaking of Ng Man Tat's earlier death rumor, she pointed out that at the time she asked the team. Director Pang Ho Cheung tried to contact him but no one picked up the phone. Finally Brother Tat was contacted later. She admitted that she was very worried, as long as Brother Tat was fine she was too. Koo Tin Lok in the film had a daughter with Gigi. He revealed that later in a new film he would work with a group of children as well. He said that working with children was difficult but also very fun.
