Peter Ho Yun Tung in THE MONKEY KING (SAI YAU GEI ji DAI LAU TIN GUNG) played Erlang Shen. Because most of the shoot took place in front of a blue screen for additional post production computer work, he said that it was like daydreaming in school. With his art major at the university, his imagination was OK.
Ho Yun Tung was the most excited about working with his idol Chow Yun Fat. "I grew up watching Fat Gor's movies. I watched A BETTER TOMORROW (YING HUNG BOON SIK) over a dozen times. Friends who have been out of touch for a long time called me and asked to visit the set. Actually they all want to watch Fat Gor act." In one scene Jade Emperor Fat Gor had to hit Ho Yun Tung's head. Ho Yun Tung happily said, "My idol hit me on my head!" Fat Gor brought Ho Yun Tung to Hebei country side for scenery photos. "Fat Gor was like the Observatory, he predicted the weather and the humidity. Just from watching the clouds he knew what kind of photos he would shoot."
