Martial arts movie star Philip Ng Won Lung recently gave a radio interview, revealing that he was bullied when he was a child; so he started to practice martial arts. "When I was little Papa taught me kung fu because he wanted to help me release my energy, so when I finished practicing I could be quieter. When I was 13 years old, my classmates punched me in the chest and knocked me down. Since then I began to study martial arts seriously."

Philip pointed out that kung fu is a technique that can be used to knock out opponents in the most powerful, direct and simple way, while at the same time protecting himself. "I mainly use kung fu for film shoots. Of course I have to know the goal before I can express it first." In March this year, his production company started filming on the film MO MING FOR (NAMELESS FIRE), in which he not only fought but also challenged Indonesian martial arts and the use of tiger hook knife for the first time.
