Chow Yun Fat on and off camera is just as friendly. His ONE MORE CHANCE (BIT GIU NGOR DOH SUN)'s director Anthony Pun (Poon Yiu Ming) and screenwriter Felix Chong Man Keung both had nothing but praise for Fat Gor. Not only has he not put on air on the set but also treated everyone in the crew and the cast equally. Fat Gor's level of intimacy has filled the set with a joyful atmosphere and no one had any pressure at all. They even praised Fat Gor for his awesome acting, rich and just right layers. A still photographer after watching Fat Gor's one take shot could not help but say, "Just from watching this shoot, Fat Gor can already win the Hong Kong Film Award."

Chong Man Keung after the film PROJECT GUTENBERG (MO SEUNG) again worked with Fat Gor. "Director Poon Yiu Ming has always wanted to make a movie about father and son. With a base draft he came to ask for my opinion, which finally developed into this movie ONE MORE CHANCE. The story is very down to earth. Originally it's a small budget production. We never thought that Fat Gor after reading the script would like it very much, and agreed to perform right away. Fat Soh also invested." Poon Yiu Ming felt that Fat Gor not only was moving by Chong Man Keung's script and not having played a street guy in a long time, but also because this time was the PROJECT GUTENBERG team he had confidence in.

Fat Gor after ALL ABOUT AH LONG (AH LONG DIK GOO SI) has not played a father in 34 years. Poon Yiu Ming used very sharp to describe Fat Gor. "He used another attitude to play this character. In the film he is more mischievous, nonsensical and emotional, tightly locks onto the entire film. His every expression and movement is paving the way for his later performance. Fat Gor after the years playing a father again and the street guy character Fai would give the role more dimensions, realism and sensibility."

Poon Yiu Ming already got to work with superstar Chow Yun Fat on his second turn as a director, but he has never felt the pressure because Fat Gor was truly too intimate and did not put on any air. "Fat Gor isn't troublesome at all. On the set he would only make everyone feel very relaxed and at ease. He would also bring his co-stars to their marks, not stiffly express the dialogue. Only a very experienced, very generous person would be able to do that. So on the set I have no pressure either, the biggest pressure is from doing my own part well."

When asked which scene Fat Gor gave them the most pleasant surprise? Chong Man Keung said, "Fat Gor wouldn't surprise you too much, because he has always been very precise, very professional; in any minute and any second he would be able to meet your demand. For one scene in Macau, I went to visit the set. The still photographer said to me, 'Just from the shot, Fat Gor can already win the Hong Kong Film Award.' I have always looked forward to how Fat Gor would play this scene very much. In this scene Fat Gor and son rode the bus together. Fat Gor remembered (Anita) Yuen Wing Yi who played his wife, knew how difficult life was for her and their son, his expression changed step by step with layers. No matter how long he performed he kept having more, he truly is the Best Actor class. In another scene Fat Gor lost everything, went to the bathroom and looked at the mirror. He extremely resembled a gambling addict, because the gambling addicts I know in real life are exactly the same as Fat Gor in the film."

Poon Yiu Ming said that in the film Fat Gor seriously did not have too many lines, mostly he was mischievous and very lifelike. However in several scenes he could see Fat Gor's instantaneous changes, in a flash going from very crazy playful to very serious. It was extremely awesome. Speaiing of Will Or Wai Lam who played Fat Gor's autistic son, Poon Yiu Ming revealed that he chose Or Wai Lam out of 50 some people from the audition because he met the story direction. "I didn't want the audience to feel pity for the character. I want him to be happy and bring out the message in the film. His appearance would make people like him, not autistic to a very tragic level. I wasn't after the tragedy effect. (What message did you want to bring out?) I want everyone to cherish everything they have and people around them."
