Viewers who would enter the theater on that day would not only enjoy half-price movie tickets for more than 80 movies, but would also be able to participate in the "Scratch Extravaganza" for a chance to win more than 2,000 prizes. This event also attracted many heavyweight superstars to film videos and support the Hong Kong cinema industry.

Viewers who purchase movies tickets on October 1st will receive a scratch off card and have the opportunity to win instant rewards including free movie tickets, theater concession vouchers, popcorn and soda, etc. 10 lucky winners will win the grand prize of 75 free movie vouchers and be able to choose their favorite movies to watch at any time. They hoped that movie watching will become a daily pastime and entertainment experience for more citizens. For viewers who fail to win the prize, their scratch off cards will also have dialogues from different movie printed on them as a souvenir.
