The Stephen Chow Sing Chi (Sing Jai) written and directed KUNG FU SOCCER (GONG FU NUI JOOK) was a follow-up to SHAOLING SOCCER (SIU LUM JOOK KAU), once again challenging the subject matter of soccer with an all women's team years later. The film was released first in the mainland, its box office has exceeded 2.2 billion yuan RMB and was still on a hot streak; its Hong Kong released was slated for August 13th, and 8 special screening took place yesterday in 4 regions, Tsim Sha Tsui, Tai Wai, West Kowloon and Kai Tak. Tickets were instantly gone. In order to thank the audience for their support, the director Chow SIng Chi led the co-director Lam Tsz Chung, the film's "head nun" Carina Lau Ka Ling, "players" Dilraba, Sisley Choi Si Bui, Xue Ye, Angel Woo Yu On and "referee" Louis Cheung Kai Chung to respective cinemas to thank the audience then united again last night at the premiere.

Yesterday after the special film screening, the emcee introduced the director Chow Sing Chi. The cheers of the audience came and went from one place to another, as some fans pulled out a red banner that wrote, "Sing Jai you are the most handsome, we will always love you." When the actors introduced themselves one by one, Dilraba found that an audience member who looked familiar and asked, "Are you ata every show?" The viewer answered yes. She went "wow" in surprise. Even Chow Sing Chi laughed and said that everyone looked familiar. The master of ceremonies asked Chow Sing Chi whether KUNG FU SOCCER would have a Cantonese version? Chow Sing Chi said, "Sorry, this time there is no Cantonese version. Because the release was a temporary adjustment, we didn't have enough time for a Cantonese version. It is quite a regret, but the film itself has a lot of different languages, the Head Nun (Lau Ka Ling) spoke Cantonese, so there is still a lot of Cantonese. The host also asked about the Easter egg at the end of the film, in which Chow Sing Chi sat in the audience in the stadium with his back to the camera and said a Cantonese line, "Then let's play a match!" Was this also the Hong Kong version exclusive? Chow Sing Chi said, "Yes, it's exclusive!"

After FORBIDDEN CITY COP (DAI NOI MUK TAM LING LING FAT), 30 years later Lau Ka Ling worked with Chow Sing Chi again. She felt the same as before, "Working with Sing Jai is a lot of fun, and I also learned a lot. It's like further study for the actor, he has a lot of acting knowledge. On the set he would only be after the best, if you can't meet is demand he would keep yelling cut!" Chow Sing Chi smiled and said to Ka Ling, "You don't have any bad take. No need to say more, you are at the highest level!" Ka Ling smiled and "questioned" him, "Then why you need so many takes of that scene?" He replied, "Sometimes the take originally is already OK! Yet due to popular demand, everyone want to see it!"

When the master of ceremonies mentioned that this role was very different from Dilraba's past ones, which side would she want the audience to see? Dilraba said, "Since everyone came to see KUNG FU SOCCER, it is already very good. I don't need them to see any side of me, as long as everyone is happy it's enough!" She wanted to say "happy" in Cantonese again and immediately asked Chow Sing Chi, then after learning she said to everyone, "Are you happy or not?"

As for Choi Si Bui she was praised by Chow Sing Chi as the actress who most resembled Bruce Lee. Choi Si Bui humbly said that it was thanks to the director teaching her the secret. His secret weapon was not only to learn the action, but also to have Bruce Lee's essence, ruthlessness and wildness, she received the director's advice and followed it. Chow Sing Chi praised Si Bui for indeed having a little natural talent, because the role of "Double Eight" itself had a wild potential and was not easy to play. He and co-director Lam Tsz Chung also worried that she would not be able to achieve "hip and stance as one". He immediately asked Si Bui if she secretly practiced her kung fu? Si Bui said, "After casting, I’ve been practicing kung fu on and off for a year, hoping to meet your expectations." Chow Sing Chi also commended her for truly putting in an effort.

After the talk ended, the director, the actors and the audience took a photo together, and the fans shouted "Sing Jai" in support. Chow Sing Chi smiled and raised the "V" sign to respond to the fans to.
