Alan Tam Wing Lun two nights ago led the Wynnrs, Priscilla Chan Wai Han, Shirley Kwan Suk Yi, Hacken Lee Hak Kun and other former PolyGram singers to perform a concert, unfortunately Jacky Cheung Hok Yau, Leon Lai Ming, the Grasshoppers and others due to scheduling were unable to participate. Alan admitted that was a shame but would cherish the chance for a reunion, as the same line up will perform a Mainland tour.

The POLYGRAM FOREVER LIVE concert two nights ago took place at the Convention Center as PolyGram era hits were performed. Alan opened the show with FRIENDS and led the singers in the rendition as a symbol of the PolyGram family feeling. When Alan urged viewers to wave their phones, he suddenly switched to speak Putonghua. He even parodied Louis Koo Tin Lok's classic line, "To conserve energy, tires can." Alan said, "when I spoke Cantonese, the front row viewers had no response. So I switched to Putonghua. Not only I was making fun of Koo Tin Lok, he has caught the attention of Chinese people around the world long ago. Goo Jai wouldn't blame m, he recently has improved a lot."

Speaking of many singers who were unable to participate, Alan said, "Indeed that is regrettable because PolyGram still had Cheung Hok Yau, Lai Ming, the Grasshoppers and others, but now everyone belong to different companies. Scheduling is hard and cannot be forced, I am not in control of that." Alan joked that this performance only paid for transportation, enough for them to take the MTR home. He said, "The transportation fund was split five ways between the Wynners. The Mainland performance will be a little better, perhaps the price of the flight. However money isn't important to us." He revealed that the concert will have a Foshan show in October.

Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To) joked that although he was not 65 yet and was unable to receive the "2 buck" transportation discount, he went to the movies with senior admission. He said, "When I took my children to the movies, they had student admission. Actually the movie discount was available for those 60 or over, I could save money and have late night snacks." Alan joked that even when age has reached this number, the most important was that as long as biologically and mentally he was not he was fine.

Chan Wai Han enjoyed singing on the stage very much and sensed the PolyGram spirit. After signing with the all new PolyGram she has begun recording her new record. "Slow work yields detailed product, the new record release will coordinate with the Hong Kong Coliseum concerts next year. I haven't released a record and perform a concert in 10 years, I look forward to it very much."

Kwan Suk Yi regretted that not all of the past PolyGram singers were able to appear, but she and other singers will attend the Foshan stop of the performance. As for the earlier online threat, Kwan Suk Yi said, "I was only doing what an ordinary citizen should do, everything else is left for the police to handle. Lately I haven't been disturbed again. I wasn't too worried because Hong Kong was under the rule of the law." As for finding a man to protect her, Kwan Suk Yi joked, "I don't have any strong man, do you have any good recommendation?"

Linda Wong Hing Ping and Karen Tong Bo Yu performed their own and their friends Vivian Chow Wai Man and Vivian Lai Shui Yun's classic songs. Tong Bo Yu while descending the stairs almost stepped on her dress. When Tong Bo Yu and Daniel Chan Hiu Tung performed, they joked with them wearing yellow and red they looked like tomato and fried egg.

Wong Hing Ping said that her sexy get up already received her husband's permission. "It's been such a long time since I appeared with my PolyGram identity, since I still have something to show of course I would have to show it. Hubby saw it and thought it had no problem, but the other one wasn't too great because it was a little exaggerated. I didn't use tape, but I checked in front of the mirror. I absolutely would have no wardrobe malfunction."

Tong Bo Yu regretted that sisters Winnie Lau Siu Wai and Lai Shui Yun were not present. "I complained that Lai Shui Yun's song lyrics were very hard to remember, she joked that I shouldn't sing them like (Paula) Tsui Siu Fung. She went to Japan with her friends but she might not have performed. I don't need to convince her because she likes to sing too much."

The funeral of White Dragon King Chow Yam Nam who passed away on the 17th will take place Sunday (September 1). Yesterday his disciple and currently Hong Kong Tourism Board chief Peter Lam Kin Ngok along with his rumored girlfriend Michelle Lam Bo Yin, son Lam Hau Yin and Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Lee Man Kiu arrived at the White Dragon King Temple to pay their respect. The local police led the way for the entourage and Madame personally welcomed Lam Kin Ngok and others; when Madame saw Lam Kin Ngok she broke down several times and Lam Kin Ngok was teary eyed too. They first presented incense sticks then the White Dragon King's daughter Yellow Dragon King conducted a faith healing ceremony as she touched his head to bless him.

The ceremony took around 1 hour. After the monks completed their chanting Lam Kin Ngok and his entourage left. Around 30 Hong Kong, Taiwan and other reporters rushed up for an interview, Lam Kin Ngok kept urging everyone to be careful. He said that Master's health was on and off but he still ignored his own health in hopes of helping even more people; as his disciple the Master's passing was like losing a loved one. Of course he was not very happy. He could only ask Madame to take care. Will he come again Sunday to send Master on his final journey? He said, "I really hope that I will be able to, because I am scheduled for something already I am making arrangements."

courtesy of on.cc

Artists Ava Yu Kiu and Gregory Wong Chung Hiu two nights ago attended a film premiere. She revealed that she was busy with the film LAN KWAI FONG 3 (HEI OI YEH PO 3) and stated that she worried about her romantic scene with the handsome Alex Lam Tak Shun. Was she worried that she would fall for him? She said, "No, I came to make a movie, not to look for a husband. Earlier (Johnson) Yuen Tak Cheung, (Vincent) Kok Tak Siu and (Ronald) Cheng Chung Kei have already played my boyfriend. This time Lam Tak Shun is very handsome, I am afraid that it will be awkward."

Later they will shoot in Korea.  In one scene she will bare her back. She said, "I won't use a double. I am thinking what to do in the front. Maybe I will use duct tape in front to make my co-star not to look." Was she worried that Lam Tak Shun's rumored girlfriend Linah Matsuoka would be upset? She said, "Lam Tak Shun and I aren't close, she won't be mad." She even said that she wanted to see Lam Tak Shun and Linah Matsuoka's scene, which should be very interesting.

DaDa Chan Jing earlier announced her retirement from on screen performance. Before her retirement in her film HARDCORE COMEDY (CHUNG HAU MEI) she continued her usual sexy performance. DaDa transformed into a hallucinatory drug queen. Aside from the shoot, she earlier shot a series of costume photos with Michelle Wai Si Nga and Christine Kuo. Also on hand were "Goddess Successor" Yuet Sum.

The entire series of photos had many different looks, like school girl and sexy low cut elegant evening gown. The most fiery was DaDa's transformation into the 70's "DaDa Goddess" on the adult magazine ANTIQUE CAR cover. She wore an old style swimsuit as she sold wine with her assets, which was full of nostalgia. Other female leads were no slouches either. Christine Kuo put on a school uniform to play an innocent school girl, Wai Si Nga wore a low cut dress. Wai Si Nga joked, "The entire film has no part that isn't hardcore, everyday at work had a pleasant surprise."

Dior Cheng Yi Kin, Michael Tse Tin Wa, Jerry Lamb Hiu Fung and Jordan Chan Siu Chun yesterday promoted their November concert on Commercial Radio. Siu Chun was 45 minutes late. Ekin, Tse Tin Wa and Lam Hiu Tung praised the stage design as very pretty, but it had too many mechanisms and they would easily injure their legs while dancing. They hoped to be able to invite YOUNG AND DANGEROUS (GOO WAT JAI)'s actresses as guests.

Lam Hiu Fung admitted that he wanted to invite Gigi Lai Chi the most, as well as Michelle Reis (Lee Ka Yun), Karen Mok Man Wai and Shu Qi. However most of them were married and getting them to attend would be very hard. Ekin lamented, "Lai Chi, don't even think about it!" Would they consider their own wives as replacements? He said, "They are responsible for distributing tickets, we can't be bothered!"

Ekin hoped that viewers would attend either in black or gray. Would weapons like knives be allowed? Tse Tin Wa said, "You don't need to bring your own, the event will provide them!" He revealed that their new music video for VANISHED TIME landed Jan Lamb Hoi Fung as its director. He hoped to be able to return to the YOUNG AND DANGEROUS locations. Unfortunately the Tsz Wan Shan housing estate has already been demolished.

Tse Tin Wa's new series SNIPER STANDOFF (SUN CHEUNG JUI GIK) has already been accused of plagiarism before it was aired. Its poster and trailer were extremely close to the Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing starred film DOUBLE TAP (CHEUNG WONG). Tin Wa felt that all posters and trailers with guns looked similar and hoped that everyone would make the determination after watching the series. He said, "However being talked about is a good thing, it will be able to bring back memory and remember that Cheung Kwok Wing made DOUBLE TAP." Did he study DOUBLE TAP during the shoot? Tin Wa said that he has seen it before but not during the shoot. He stressed, "I can say that the series and the movie are completely different, 90 some percent different!"
