The 49 year old "Pretty Demon Woman" Candy Law Lam and Mandy Lieu two nights ago attended the ENTHRALLED (OI.CHUM.MAI) premiere. Law Lam was dressed in white while Mandy Lieu was dressed in black. Director Chip Tsao (To Kit) and other actors Kelvin Kwan Chor Yiu and Tsui Tin Yau also attended.

Mandy Lieu complimented Law Lam for looking pretty. She said, "I want to be as well kept as she is in the future." Did she want to be the Pretty Demon Woman? Mandy said, "It really isn't easy to keep, so she is amazing."

Mandy Lieu looked forward to seeing Law Lam and Kwan Chor Yiu's passionate scene. She also gave her first time with a super sexy intimate performance in the film. She said that when she worked on the intimate scene with her foreign co-star they set clear boundaries. She asked for hands off her chest, but he asked for her hands off her pants.

Law Lam thanked everyone for calling her "Pretty Demon Woman", thus she had to work hard to stay in shape. However she was nervous with the film release getting closer. Lately she was much thinner, her clothing was a little loose. At the event she had to stand out her chest to prevent wardrobe malfunction. She looked back when she took this role she struggled for awhile. Originally she did not want to perform a passionate scene but in the end the director talked her into it. Luckily lately during promotion, outsiders and friends were both very supportive. She was touched. Would she permit her son to watch the film? Law Lam said, "It doesn't matter, he has seen many of the photos from the film. I kept explaining to him that this was a character, a part of the job."

Kara Wai Ying Hung and Elanne Kong Yeuk Lam last night attended the film THE MIDNIGHT AFTER (NA YEH LING SUN, NGOR JOR SEUNG LIU WONG GOK HOI WONG DAI PO DIK HUNG VAN) screening in Tsim Sha Tsui. Siu Hung was in good spirit. She revealed that later she will work on a beauty ad campaign and want to appear in a bikini. Thus earlier she not only worked out with the demon coach who trained Nick Cheung Ka Fai but also went on a diet. She only ate oat meal, fish and tofu in hopes of appearing at his best. Kong Yeuk Lam also praised Siu Hung on her great shape. "Sister Siu Hung ate very little for her training. I admire her ambition for her career very much. As a young person I may not be able to do that. She is in better shape than me."

Tony Leung Ka Fai has won many Best Actor awards. His acting obviously has received recognition. Although he had an "reunion" after years, he worked with director Lee Chi Ngai last year on TALES FROM THE DARK (MAI LEI YEH) and immediately set off spark. However they both felt that the collaboration was too short. They immediately made plans to work together again. This time in HORSEPLAY (DOH MA GEI), Leung Ka Fai and Kelly Chen Wai Lam reunited after TALES FROM THE DARK. In a woman disguise in the film, he even said that he wanted to work toward a Best Actress Award.

Leung Ka Fai and director Lee Chi Ngai have not seen each other for years until last year when they worked together in TALES FROM THE DARK, unfortunately the production was too short. He felt that the director's sensitivity remained high as he immediately thought of arranging for a light comedy with Kelly. He believed that they certainly would be able to set off new sparks.

Leung Ka Fai felt that everyone had room for improvement. This time his improvement was being more open and actually donned a woman's disguise. "This time I play a woman because the story has a logical reason. I have done it before, but this time was a little more difficult with heels and masks. The heels even gave him a periostitis as he only aggravated his injury. Actually the entire shoot was very light and pleasant. The most difficult was playing a woman." Some said that his entire home was women, why did he not ask his family for advice? Leung Ka Fai joked, "None of the women in my home are women!"

Leung Ka Fai during the shoot broke his ribs. He felt that it did not hinder the progress, as long as he first the dramatic scenes first he had no problem. After a week in the hospital he returned to work, he already completely forgot that he was an injured patient. Although his periostitis affected his performance as he was so swollen that even walking hurt, luckily the director was inspired to write the injury into the story and make something bad into something good. Since he has even played a woman, did he have any character that I would like to challenge? Leung Ka Fai seriously said, "Winning Best Actress! No actor has received a Best Actress nomination for playing a woman. This is my ultimate challenge!"

As for Kelly's performance this time, Leung Ka Fai and Lee Chi Nga both had nothing but compliments. Lee Chi Ngai felt that from LOST AND FOUND (TIN NGAI HOI GOK) to now, Kelly after marriage and motherhood was obviously more experienced and more open minded. Leung Ka Fai could not help but praised Kelly on her drastic improvement. "The last time we worked together for the first time, I realized that she was a focused and faithful person. Her preparation before hand was very well done, she could not easily accept any on set changes; this time although could not be considered a complete transformation, she displayed her interesting side."

Kelly admitted that she learned a lot from Leung Ka Fai. Leung Ka Fai felt that he did not teach much to Kelly. "Only Kelly asked about everything. Because she was too serious and very tense about her performance, this light comedy to her was considered a challenge. In the past she mostly played the pristine girl in romantic films. This time she played a silly character, which she indeed was a little worried. She was afraid that she was very cautious. I used to play many comedy characters that gave people the impression that I was shameless. In addition Kelly's impression of me was I was crazy, she wanted to learn from me how to be so open. Actually this was an acting process, if she was able to absorb it of course it would be great."

Leung Ka Fai's acting was publicly recognized. When asked if he has considered accepting students, he screamed, "Never say that! Live until old age act until old age, I can also learn until old age. Playing every characters actually are learning about different lives. Each time I played a different character, at the same time I learned about different meaning and truth of life."

Leung Ka Fai's daughters earlier posed photos online and received praises. He said that he would not mind his daughters joining the business, but he who has brought up countless newcomers was asked if he wanted to work with his daughters. He just kept shaking his head. "No, their popularity is their problem because they are already adults. As for why they are popular, they must choose their own future. They haven't said to me that they wanted to join the business. Even if they would be in this business, I have promised them to not help either one. They would make their own way." Leung Ka Fai also resisted against working with his daughter. "Of course I am resistant! However I believe their chances of joining the business are very slim."

Seemingly Leung Ka Fai's father and daughters team would not be too likely.

Fan Bingbing and Huang Xiaoming announced the film THE WHITE HAIRED WITCH OF THE LUNAR KINGDOM (BAK FAT MOR NUI JUEN ji MING YUET TIN GOK). Huang Xiaoming directly accused Fan Bingbing of being too oppressive. "As a friend she is great, as a lover she is very tiring. Bingbing's advantage is she is very pretty and rich, too rich. She may be too richest in show business!" Fan Bingbing joked, "How can I be as rich as Xiaoming? Even with money I haven't given anyone (Angelababy) a Lamborghini!"

Fan Bingbing generously admitted that she already had a boyfriend, but she had to keep him confidential. The 8th Asian Film Awards took place last night in Macau. With 11 nominations THE GRANDMASTER (YUT DOI JUNG SI) was the big winner as it won 7 awards: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Costume Design, Best Art Direction, Best Original Score and Best Cinematography. Zhang Ziyi with the film won her 8th Best Actress as the favorite. Indian actor Irrfan Khan with THE LUNCHBOX won Best Actor, defeating Tony Leung Chiu Wai, STRAY DOGS' Lee Kang-Sheng, THE ATTORNEY's Song Kang-Ho and LIKE FATHER LIKE SON's Masaharu Fukuyama.

Wong Kar Wai with THE GRANDMASTER won Best Director and Best Film. When he accepted Best Film on stage he was somewhat emotional. He said, "This award very regrettably cannot be shared with one of our stunt coordinators. He (Ju Kun) was a passenger on the missing Malaysia Airline flight. I hope Malaysia authorities would do its best to give us an understanding of the progress and the truth with more transparency." He also sent his deepest condolences to the family of the passengers' families. Wong Kar Wai gave his speech, the camera went to Zhang Ziyi and her eyes were red as well. Wong Kar Wai after the event said that he hoped to help Ju Kun's family through a lawyer family. As for Leung Chiu Wai again losing the Best Actor, Wong Kar Wai said that without the two Grandmasters Wai Jai and Chang Chen, the film's brilliance would not have been the same.

Zhang Ziyi with THE GRANDMASTER earlier has already won numerous Best Actress awards. Now she won another as she defeated RIGOR MORTIS' Nina Paw Hee Ching, THE RAVINE OF GOODBYE's Yoko Maki and COLD EYES' Han Hyo-Joo to win the Asian Film Award Best Actress. She happily embraced Wong Kar Wai then went to the stage and accepted the award from Carina Lau Ka Ling's hands. She excited embraced Ka Ling and said, "Thank you Asian Film Awards, the director and the Best Actor in my heart Mr. Leung Chiu Wai. I believe that many actors here feel the same as I do and experience the liveliness of the character with me. In addition it is without a mask, it is flesh and blood." She said, "Like the tragedy that just happened, they all had lives of flesh and blood. They were our friends, family members. Here today, aside from celebration, I also want to salute valuable life."

Zhang Ziyi said, "This time while working on THE GRANDMASTER I built deep relationships with the crew. I have already worked with Wong Kar Wai when I was very little, he is my teacher and my friend. The film production process was rather tough, ordinary people must not be able to feel that, in particular during the training. Today I am very upset for a reason, the team has a friend......who made me experience that I have to cherish life and those around me more. I hope this matter can give the real truth to the family." She was teary eyed. Thus when Zhang Ziyi, Wong Kar Wai and THE GRANDMASTER team took to the red carpet, they were all dressed in black to eulogize Ju Kun.

Indian actor Irrfan Khan with THE LUNCHBOX won Best Actor and was very excited. He said, "I am very happy. It's my first time here, I saw many film actors I like. It's quite an encouragement for me. This time I represent India to take the first international step. The award winning film is a subject that is outside India. Through this film I broke out of India, to me it is a new hope."

The Golden Horse and Asia Pacific Film Festival Best Supporting Actress with ILO ILO, Yeo Yann Yann again won Best Supporting Actress. Yeo Yann Yann excitedly said, "I ran into a lot of difficulties in life, thank you to my family for giving me the greatest strength. I hope everyone would have this strength. Finally I thank my husband." She said that although this film participated in many film festivals, she was still nervous and on the stage she was still very excited. Huang Bo with NO MAN'S LAND won Best Supporting Actor, but he did not attend the award presentation.

Hou Hsiao-Hsien received the Lifetime Achievement Award. He said, "I am very tired, so I look very old. I still have many movies that I want to make, but I don't have much time. I will keep making them, I believe I can still work for 10 years or more. Earlier at the Taipei Film Festival and the Golden Horse Award I received Lifetime Achievement Awards, this time is another experience. It is a miracle. Chung Choi yi who stole the spotlight from elder DaDa awkwardly said, "Fellow female stars did not dress too provocatively, which made me stand out and feel awkward instead."

Jury chair Peter Chan Ho Sun and one of the jury members Donnie Yen Chi Tan walked the red carpet with their wives. Also on hand were Karena Ng Chin Yu, Korean stars Song Kang-Ho and Han Hyo-Joo, Japanese actor Joe Odagiri and others. In a long dress and heels Ng Chin Yu revealed that she almost tripped. "This road is long and slanted, my heels are very high. My shoe slipped a little, luckily I was fine." Joe Odagiri said that as long as the subject and the character were attractive, he would be interested in working with directors everywhere. He joked that he could not work on Indian film that required dancing and singing though.

Hugo Boss last night held a opening ceremony for its Central flagship store. THE WOLF OF WALL STREET's Margot Robbie, Chow Yun Fat and his wife Jasmine Tan, Cathy Lee Tsui Chi Kei were the ribbon cutting guests. Lately Fat Gor dropped 40 pounds in a year, which made Fat Soh worry as she asked him to see a doctor. Last night he indeed looked very thin. Fat Soh stated that she told him to stop. Fat Gor remained humorous. "I lost 30 pounds, down to skin and bones; but when I am thinner I walk faster." He also joked that he drank from the fountain of youth. Lee Tsui Chi Kei took the chance to take a photo with Fat Gor, but she joked that her dress made her look like she was naked in the photo!

Fat Gor was asked if he saw THE WOLF OF WALL STREET. He curiously asked, "No, why do you ask? (The lead actress is next to you?) I didn't recognize her, she is much prettier." He admitted that he was much thinner. Some said that he seemed to have returned to his youth. He joked, "I went to Wui Chun Tong on Stanley Street and drank some rejuvenation medicine." He clarified that he did not lose 40 pounds as reported. He said, "I only lost 30 pounds. I started losing them while working on FROM VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG WON). Now it has been 9 months. (Will you keep slimming down?) I am left with skin and bones, I won't get thinner. Actually I really like to eat, I can really eat,rice, fish, meat and other normal food. Normally I don't eat at night, twice during the day. In the afternoon I have fruit, potato, a lighter fare. However with 30 pounds less I feel very comfortable, I walk faster too. Every week I go hiking, occasionally I get a back massage."

Lately he has been working on Johnnie To Kei Fung's new film DESIGN FOR LIVING (WA LAI SEUNG BAN JOOK). Will he work with Nicholas Tse Ting Fung again? Fat Gor said, "Ting Fung is very picky, it will depend on his schedule and whether he likes the script. Earlier Ting Fung through Fat Soh asked me to be on his food program, but our schedules didn't match. (Have you tried Ting Fung's cooking?) During the shoot I only see him eat boiled egg, like a god he doesn't eat." Fat Soh stated that Fat Gor was too thin, "It's enough! He has to stop. (Isn't he more handsome thinner?) He has always been handsome."

Chrissie Chau Sau Na's lingerie store LA MIU opened its Causeway Bay branch. She earlier went to Japan for design inspirations and at the same time personally modeled the sexy lingerie for promotional photos. Sister Na said that being sexy was an attitude, she still needed more hard work and effort; she was luckily that she was able to make different attempts to have her performance now. However she would not be satisfied with her current condition.

Sister Na's goal was for her lingerie line to become a real mass fashion. She planned to further expand her business and hoped to open another branch store at the end of the year. As for film, Sister Na earlier signed with a new company for 20 million and will participate in 12 films. For Media Asia, she and Dior Cheng Yi Kin will work on BREAK UP 100 (FUN SAU 100 CHI). They will share a bubble bath as she continued to be sexy in the film industry.
