Michelle Yeoh (Yeung Chi King) yesterday attended the all new wax figure unveiling at Madame Tussaud's. This time the all new wax figure was in her CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON costume and made in England. Michelle said that the previous figure was made 15 years ago in her TOMORROW NEVER DIES costume. This time she went to England for measurements and stood for five hours. Yet because of the kung fu pose, her legs were shaking in the first five minutes.

Yeung Chi King looked like she was much slimmer. She said that because her productions have been difficult. In addition earlier she went to India to visit temples and study with high monks for eight days. She also went to climb mountains that 4,000 to 5,000 feet above sea level. She had high altitude illness for the few days. Her headache was so bad that she could not get out of bed, and she needed to breathe from oxygen tanks. She also said that she wanted to make another Hong Kong film soon. Now most of her offers came from overseas series and guest starring film roles. August 6th will be her birthday. She said that she will spend it in Hungary on a series production, which should wrap up by October.

Last night Ava Yu Giu promoted her film UNDERCOVER DUET (MAN LUNG DUT GWING) with the "Hong Kong Internet God survey". Internet sensation "Doll Shun" appeared as a special guest and screams arose. He performed DOLL LOVES THE WORLD with Yu Kiu, during which Yu Kiu even jumped onto him and wrapped her legs around him as they turned.

Yu Kiu said, "We rehearsed for several weeks. He originally didn't want to sing, but after some coaxing he was willing. We felt that he had interest in making a comeback. Actually I have watched his video over 300,000 times."

The 20 million yuan JIAN BING MAN so far has made 820 million yuan, its investment return was only second to LOST IN THAILAND, but next week it would hopefully become the most profitable film in Chinese film history. After three weeks in release MONKEY KING HERO IS BACK made 640 million yuan, which passed the 2011 release of KUNG FU PANDA 2 and its 617 million yuan to become the highest grossing animated film in the Chinese market.

The film THE MERGER (NGOR MOON TING JIN BA!) yesterday promoted at the HKACG with a cosplay event. Boss Tony Wong Yuk Long, artists Rachel Lam Hei Tung, Kathy Yuen (Tong Yee), Meiki Wong, Frankie Lam Man Lung and Charles Ying Cheung Yau all appeared in costumes. Rachel and Meiki Wong's Sailor Suits and Ying Cheung Yau's Detective Conan costumes stole the spotlight.

The film so far has won 27 awards. Lam Man Lung won three Best Actor awards with this film. Rachel won four Best Actress awards. Rachel even suggested, "If the film makes over HK$ 100 million we can all go skinny dipping." Lam Man Lung said, "I don't mind, I swim freestyle so you can't see much. (So if the box office passes 100 million then you are going to skinny dip?) Hopefully." Meiki Wong even offered to cheer. "I will cheer him on and tell him to swim slower for everyone to take pictures!" Tong Yee also said that sh would leave the skinny dipping to the leads. Wong Yuk Long was very happy that the film performed well and revealed that the company will make a horror film. "Now it is under preparation, it will star top Mainland actors!" Does he plan to turn his comic books into movies? He said, "I thought about it, the plan is to adapt WEAPONS OF THE GODS (SUN BING YUEN KEI) into a movie."

Speaking of their costumes, Meiki Wong said that it was her first cosplay but it was her first Sailor suit appearance. She said, "The costume feels very strange, the skirt is very short and the stage is high. Even with the precautions I took I still didn't dare to move around too much." Dressed like Ami Mizuno, Rachel said that this costume was rather daring. "I struggled for a long time over this cosplay look, finally I decided to just go with it!" Artists Vivian Chan Wai Man and Babyjohn Choi Hong Yik yesterday appeared at the ACGHK to promote their new film GUIA IN LOVE (DUNG TAP HA DIK LUEN YUN). THey even took selfies with the fans in the crowd. In the new film they had many intimate scenes. Vivian even revealed that she took the initiative in the bed scene. "This time was my first movie, not to mention that I had to work on a bed scene with Babyjohn the first time I saw him. At the time we were complete strangers!"

Because in the film they cried as they got intimate, it was very difficult! However, Babyjohn said that Vivian's tears kept flowing like turning on a tap. Vivian joked, "I thought about having to kiss you and I was really in tears!" Babyjohn said, "I was crying on the inside."

Chan Wai Man said that she was very happy to work with Babyjohn because he won the Hong Kong Film Award Best New Performer; Babyjohn said that he had to learn singing from elder Chan Wai Man, as the film will promote with a concert.
