The 35th Hong Kong Film Award will take place on April 3rd. Currently the program has already completed its production. The comedy star of a generation David Lo passed away at age 71. Yesterday his funeral took place at the Po Fook Hill memorial Hall. Around 11AM the service moved to the Fu Shan Crematorium. The pallbearers included Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Wong Cho Lam, Cheung Sung Tak, Ting Yu, Cheng Kai Tai, god son Kam Kwong Sing and Lam Wan Chung, nephew Lo Chun Yin. Family and friends bid a sad farewell and David Lo vanished into smoke. When Mrs. Lo stepped out of the crematorium she was so heartbroken that Ting Yu had to give her a hand. She said to the media, "Thank you everyone!" Wong Cho Lam hug Mrs. Lo to console her.

Chi Wai bid farewell to friends Fung Hark On and David Lo. He could not help but teary eyed. He lamented. "This year for some reason many friends left in March. Two are my good friends, one was in the wuxia film world and the other in the television and film comedy world. I always joke with friends, I used to always be the best man or groomsman, now I am in the funeral committee and pallbearer, as I grow older I wish that friends around me would be healthy. Cheung Sung Tak lost a good friend. He said that he has known David lo for years. "At the time he had a public relations company that frequently asked me and my brother to sing. This year's Udine Film Festival yesterday announced that Hong Kong director, action director and actor Sammo Hung Kam Bo will receive its Lifetime Achievement Golden Mulberry Award. The event even arranged for the Big Brother Big Hung Kam Bo directed and starred film THE BODYGUARD (DUT GUNG YEH YEH) to premiere in Europe on its April 30th closing ceremony and to present the award to him.

Before the film release, Big Brother Big received the good news from Udine Film Festival and felt extra excited. He also said that he was fortunate for his return to directing 17 years later to be able to break out of Asia and for even more people to enjoy.

Although Big Brother Big was 64, he never talked about retirement. He still liked to direct. His endless energy was the best proof. Big Brother Big said, "Don't be afraid of people calling you old! Getting old is a part of life. From the day someone is born, from baby to growing up, everyday he is growing old. I am old, but I live happily; unless you have no chance to be old, then you can't grow old! Hung Kam Bo was the Asian artist to be invited to the film festival and receive the Golden Mulberry Lifetime Achievement Award after Joe Hisaishi and Jackie Chan last year. The Liu Kai Chi starred film WEEDS ON FIRE (DIM NG BO) was based on the Hong Kong's first Chinese youth baseball team. Two nights ago a premiere was held. Playing a baseball coach, Uncle Chi worked with a group of new comers without any experience. The process had both pain and joy. He said, "Aside from me and Poon Chan Leung, most actors were graduates and new comers. They were very playful, enthusiastic and sunny. Unfortunately the production period was in the summer. It was very hot and the locations were remote. In addition the shoot needed multiple angles; he felt that he was getting older, the shoot needed a lot of energy so it was very tough. However, the baseball uniform was very beautiful and very cool, he too has fallen for this sport. They have a team but they won't let me play." Uncle Chi felt that this film was inspiration, through sports it promoted team spirit. He hoped through this film to spread positive energy to young people and encourage them to relieve their stress through sport.

Anita Chui Bik Ka in her new film ROBBERY (LO LUP) plays a doctor, but she still has a lot of sexy performance. Anita in the trailer appeared in sexy lingerie and even danced erotically.
