[2016.05.27] ROY CHOW WING HUNG DISPELS BREAK UP AN DRUG RUMORS

Roy Chow Wing Hung supposedly broke up with his girlfriend Cherie Wong Chin Wing, but Roy yesterday attended with his girlfriend Cherie the film NAM SUN JUI TUNG (WHAT HURTS MALE GOD THE MOST) press conference and the Searching Goddess reality show launch. They denied the break up rumor.

Roy yesterday as the film company general manager with his girlfriend and the film company managing director Hayden Leung Yik Lam spoke to the media. Speaking of the lead actress choice, Leung Yik Lam said that later she will be chosen from an international search and denied that Gloria Wong Yung and Aki Chan Yi Man were already set to be the leads. Roy said about his recent break up rumors, "My Mommy said that many people added her using her (girlfriend)'s photo and name. Four or five Cherie appeared in the last week or two. (Then you had four or five girlfriends?) I wouldn't mind, I can't control the tabloids. I would try to focus on work again."

Did he leak his girlfriend's argument photos? Roy denied that. "We didn't have that conversation, it definitely wasn't us." Then he put his arm around his girlfriend and said, "Although she at the time didn't listen, I am so much older than her that sometimes I am like her mentor. However we haven't gotten to that point. I really don't want to respond too much, letting other people use me to promote."

Speaking of drug use in the conversation, Roy said, "The reporter called. I told him to dig up the stuff from 2004. Who doesn't know about my mistakes with drugs when I was little? All of Hong Kong know, it's always been the same stuff. Either I am arguing with my girlfriend or I am on drugs. I think it's time to talk about movies and dreams. (You haven't touched drugs again?) With my eight pack abdominal muscles, why would I touch that stuff? I don't need to, I have a lot to do. I am very busy." He also said that his relationship with his girlfriend has not changed. He could not stop how others see him.

Was Cherie upset about the break up news? She said, "No, it w wasn't true. Why would I be upset?) Roy said that his girlfriend was very strong and very suitable for show business. Sometimes when he faced the media pressure, his girlfriend would instead comfort him. Would his company give his girlfriend the full push? Roy joked that he personally was pushing her too.

[ BROADWAY CIRCUIT ]

    Xiao Ye moved to Macau with her father when she was 15. Feeling lonely, the local casino there has become like a home to her.     A genre film from Hong Kong that chooses to set its story during those years of turmoil is tantamount to a double swan song. One of the few directors who has continued to defend and develop the genre is Johnnie To. By producing TRIVISA, To is flying the flag for three up-and-coming directors who tell the stories of three legendary gangsters of the period. This is not an anthology film, but rather an overlapping story of men who become victims of their own legends. As chance brings them all together one day in the same restaurant on the Chinese side of the border, rumours swirl that the three are planning a joint coup. [2016.05.26] BROKEN HEARTED ALEX FONG LIK SUN AND KING KONG RUN INTO A WEDDING SCENE

The Wong Jing produced, artist Lam Tsz Chung directed new film NAM SUN FUN LIN YING (MALE GOD TRAINING CAMP) earlier shot a wedding scene in Sheung Shui. Two major TVB sexy goddesses Sammi Cheung Sau Man and Samantha Ko Hoi Ning along with "Jing Girl" Michelle Hu Yan put on bridesmaid dresses, but they were still no match for Mainland artist Tian Leixi. The "bride" was Chen Jiajia. The groom's party Alex Fong Lik Sun, King Kong, Chan Kwok Kwan and Mainland artist Zheng Kai looked sharp in their suits.

Despite all the cleavage, two "broken hearted" men Siu Fong and King Kong seemed to have run into a wedding scene before their wounds healed. They were in less than pleasant mood and lacked smiles. They had little exchange with the bride's party. During group photos they even deliberately stood to the sides to avoid "career line offensive". Siu Fong had a funny scene in which a woman slapped him. Yet before the cameras rolled Siu Fong was already sitting on the floor, frowning as he tried to memorize his lines. He quickly got teary eyed and looked like a loser, seemingly with romantic wounds he had an easy time of getting into character. Did it hurt to work on a wedding scene? Siu Fong only lightly replied with "I am not talking about that." King Kong joked, "I am only sad for Cheung Tat Ming! He has to marry Tiny!" He also joked that he wanted more scenes with Hu Yan because it was "very dull" to play a pair with Cheung Sau Man. He joked that with Hu Yan they would have even more spark.

Tall Ling revealed that in real life she has been a bridesmaid many times and caught the bouquet twice. She worried that if she caught it one more time she would not ever get married. Speaking of her dream wedding, Tall Ling said that simple was OK, but she had to have a boyfriend first. Cheung Sau Man revealed, "I asked her if someone proposes would she wed, she said yes!" Tall Ling said, "It would depend on whether he is suitable or not! Wedding needs impulse!"

Artist Chan Kwok Kwan appeared with a funny afro look. His wife Emme Wong Yee Man even brought their son to visit. The director and Chan Kwok Kwan's buddy Lam Tsz Chung immediately came to hug the baby, but as soon as the baby got into Lam Tsz Chung's arms he cried. Lam Tsz Chung could only helplessly "return" the baby. Wong Yee Man rapidly got back into shape two months after giving birth. Chan Kwok Kwan said, "She used to be too thin! After two months of rest, I fed her so much that she looks like a Nuomici!" He revealed that his wife has already returned to work but only three days a week. Would he turn his son kung fu? He said, "Some exercises like sit up so he would be more active!"

Chen Jiajia and Cheung Tat Ming worked on their wedding scene. Already "married" with Bob Lam Sing Bun, she revealed that in the film she and Tat Ming kissed twice. "Today I have to carry Tat Ming, I can carry even Bob how can I not be able to pick him up!" Speaking of the sexy w weding gown, Tiny awkwardly asked Wong Jing, "That's right, why would it be like this? Each time is sexier than the last!" Cheung Tat Ming stated that his previous kiss scene was already ten years ago. Was Tiny a good kisser? He said, "Bouncy! I was passive as she kissed me!"

Karena Ng Chin Yu yesterday accepted a Roadshow interview and promoted her new film BOUNTY HUNTERS (SEUNG GUM LIP YUN). She said that she did not know whether her Korean co-star Lee Min-Ho would come to Hong Kong, but said that when she went to see the dentist a nurse asked that her for premiere tickets. Did Chin Yu love Korean stars? She said that she was already numb from watching too many pretty guys and girls. She did not even watch the earlier hit series THE DESCENDANTS.

Chin Yu said that because of the language barrier, she did not ask Lee Min-Ho whether he would come to Hong Kong. Instead she was still in contact with other actors. Was she a fan of Korean hunks? She said, "I am not, I only glanced at THE DESCENDANTS. After seeing so many pretty guys and girls I am already numb. However after being with Lee Min-Ho, he was much more open and talkative than I imagined. He is a very nice young man." Was her boyfriend Raymond Lam Fung the most handsome in her eyes? Chin Yu said, "Answer either yes or no would be bad, this question is a trap. Actually after being together for so long, looks are no longer important. Character is the most important." Chin Yu said that her boyfriend was very patient, even she who was a little ill tempered was affected. Chin Yu also said that she often attended friends' gatherings with her boyfriend. Did she have to keep an eye on him? She said, "It's already too public, even passerbys would keep an eye on him." Did Lam Fung's friends already called her sister in law? [2016.05.26] GRACE LAM MAKES A MOVIE ABOUT HER LOVE LIFE

Grace Lam Nga Sze two nights ago attended the film YUN BUT JU DIK NGAN LUI (TEARS THAT CANNOT BE HELD BACK) wrap banquet. She revealed that she was busy with her autobiographical micro movie, for which she would invite Don Li Yat Long, ATV's Jeff Wong Sau Tung and Pinky Cheung Man Chi to perform. She would also reveal secrets.

Grace revealed that the story was about her love life before marriage. Wong Sau Tung would play her husband, but she liked Li Yat Long. She said, "In the story I chose the wrong guy. Girls all want to find the more secure ones. (Would you reveal secrets?) I would talk about the family matter that everyone misunderstood." She admitted that her former husband called her. She explained that it was just a film idea. Was she worried that her son would be affected? Grace said, "My son says that he wants to play a role. I explained to him the story was about Mommy before marriage." She also said that her son stuck close to her like a butler. If she would date he had to pass her son first. She also revealed that she has already signed her divorce paper, but her former husband has not signed yet. Did he feel that there was still a chance? She said, "I don't know."

[2016.05.25] STEPHEN CHOW APPEARS IN NEW ZEALAND TO DISPEL RUMORS

Stephen Chow Sing Chi earlier was rumored to be "dead", which made him immediately issue legal letters to stop the rumor from spreading. Yesterday Sing Yeh led Deng Chao and "Sing Girl" Jelly Lin Yun to the New Zealand National Museum to attend the 2016 New Zealand Chinese Film Week press conference, because the box office king MERMAID (MEI YUN YU) would be this film week's opening film. Sing Yeh dispelled the rumor with action and even joked that when he went out he saw a place called MERMAID and felt very familiar.
