The film CROSSING HENNESSY (YUET MOON HIN NEI SI)'s director Ivy Ho (Ong Sai) and actresses Tang Wei and Paw Hee Ching earlier promoted in Changsha. On the film's opening day they arrived. The Changsha audience and fans gave their most passionate welcome. That day the venue was sold out as many viewers could only wait outside. Ong Sai, Tang Wei and Paw Hee Ching were very appreciative of the Changsha audience for its support. At the event they shared their production experience with the audience and learned to greet the audience in the Changsha dialect. The audience also passionately expressed their opinions.

Tang Wei was banned in the Mainland due to LUST CAUTION, but the workers asked reporters not to mention LUST CAUTION or the ban. Speaking of working with Jacky Cheung Hok Yau on the new film, she honestly said that on and off camera she fell for him. "In one scene I knew I already fell for him but I was afraid to accept it, so I said to him, 'I have a boyfriend.' At the time I didn't know whether Hok Yau felt it, but I really was flushed and embarrassed."

She even said that her first meeting with Hok Yau was like the matchmaking in the film. They met in a restaurant, later the crew arrived and they gave a bashful greeting. She thought it was very funny. After completing CROSSING she will head to Seattle for a Korean film. Was she interested in the overseas market and Hollywood? She stressed that she did not have the intention yet. Right now she only wanted to promote and has not thought about anything else, as the development would be one step at a time.

The CROSSING HENNESSY Mainland tour has stirred up a fever at every stop. Before the film's release, several major Mainland city cinema circuits all required more copies. Because CROSSING HENNESSY was an authentic Hong Kong film that displayed real Hong Kong life, the film's Cantonese version was even more popular.
