The Hong Kong Screenwriters' Guild two days ago announced the 2023 "Best Film Character Award" nominees, including A GUILTY CONSCIENCE (DUK SIT DAI JONG)'s Lam Leung Shui (Dayo Wong Tze Wah), THE GOLDFINGER (GUM SAU JI)'s Ching Yat Yin (Tony Leung Chiu Wai), READY O/R ROT (BUT YUT SING FUN 2)'s Tsang Ho Yee (Michelle Wai Sze Nga), TIME STILL TURNS THE PAGES (NIN SIU YUT GEI)'s Cheng Yau Kit (Sean Wong Tsz Lok), and THE LYRICIST WANNABE (TIN CHI L)'s Law Wing Sze (Chung Suet Ying).

Michelle Wai Sze Nga with her Emperor Motion Picture READY O/R ROT (BUT YUT SING FUN 2)'s "Tsang Ho Yi" role received the Hong Kong Screenwriters' Guild "Best Film Character" nomination. Nominated for the first time with LION ROCK (SI JI SHAN SEUNG), Michelle got the nod again 6 years later. She stated that the credit belonged to the production team. "I am very grateful for the encouragement from the Hong Kong Screenwriters' Guild, Wonderfully during the performance process, I grew up with 'Tsang Ho Yi'. On a certain level she has even changed Wai Sze Nga." As for whether she was confident about winning, she said that being nominated was already getting everyone's recognition. "As an actor I can be the bridge between screenwriters and viewers, make the character into someone with flesh and blood for everyone to like and relate to. I am very lucky, very grateful. I would continue to work hard, and I hope I wouldn't disappoint anyone who supports me."
