The Year of the Dragon Lunar New Year films TABLE FOR SIX 2 (FAN HEK GUNG SUM 2), ROB N ROLL (LUM SI GIP ONG) and THE MOON THI3V4S (DOH YUET JEH) opened on the same date. TABLE 2 yesterday announced that its box office has exceeded HK$ 15 million. Director Sunny Chan Wing Sun on social media posted, "Thank you each and every viewer friend!" He bought a ticket out of his own pocket as a mystery view to experience the audience reaction. He wrote, "Thank you for every laughter and tissue package unwrapping sound at the movies. Thank you for the strength you have given me!"

ROB N ROLL faced the limit of less shows, as of the Lunar 2nd (11th) all three Lunar New Year films had 1407 shows. ROB N ROLL only had 203 shows, less than 15%. Some viewers complained that the shows were few and far between, making accommodating the shows more difficult. They hoped that ROB would be able to add more shows for viewers to choose from.

The MIRROR members Anson Lo Hon Ting, Edan Lui Cheuk On and Keung To starred THE MOON THI4V3S (DOH YUET JEH) had decent online word of mouth. Famous playwright Candace Chong Mui Ngam said, "Before the Lunar New Year I saw THE MOON THI4V3S. I feel it was rather intense and exciting, in addition seemingly I haven't seen ths type of Hong Kong film in a very long time (or I have watched less?) You are going to support MIRROR, aren't you? I completely worship t the feel of Bak Ji (Michael Ning) and Louis (Cheung Kai Chung). If you feel the trio looks good, I would say that the two pillars of Bak Ji and Louis deserve the credit: they act well, are compatible enough, and fight unexpectedly great (I don't suspect that it's great editing and dubbing). I never thought that the two lazy guys I knew would now grow up to be such stable middle aged men. Let this old classmate scream once." Chong Mui Ngam and Cheung Kai Chung both were class of 2002 Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts graduates; Bak Ji graduated in 2003.
