The 2024 Lunar New Year film ROB N ROLL (LUM SI GIP ONG) starred Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai), Gordon Lam Ka Tung and Maggie Cheung Ho Yee, with Lam Suet, Lo Hoi Pang, Nina Paw (Bau Hei Jing), Michael Wong Man Tak, Paulyn Sun Kai Kwan, Mike Tsang Pei Tat, and special performers John Chiang Dai Wai and Nancy Wu Ting Yan. ROB N ROLL would trigger an intriguing and oddball comedy armed robbery that hired temps as part time robbers. Kwok Fu Sing, Yam Yin Chai and Lam Ka Tung in the film were down on their luck middle aged men, who went from dead broke to running into pennies from Heaven. Head robber Kwok Fu Sing made a big offer to hire part time robbers, committing armed robbery to get rich quick. The film would have brain burning plot, action gun fight scenes, funny and timely lines so viewers would be able to get back the long missed richly entertaining yet sincere Hong Kong Lunar New Year big production.

ROB N ROLL unveiled its first poster, as the head robber Kwok Fu Sing had outstanding buck teeth and ears to match with his special effect make up, a face full of stubbles and all back hairstyle, outdated clothing to break through his past hunky image. A quick glimpse at his appearance anyone would already sense Sing Sing's extraordinary comedic sense. Kwok Fu Sing with mahjong tiles and toy cars on a table explained to the part time robbers he hired, Yam Yin Chai and Lam Ka Tung, on how to pull off the job. Yam Yin Chai in the film played a nursing home social worker who was excessively straight laced, almost cowardly, with simple look of mostly grey hair. Lam Ka Tung in the film played a sly, gutless but greedy waste of a middle aged taxi driver. With the convincing costume, Ka Tung brought this realistic yet snarky character to life. His humorous lines set off the comedy in the film, telling the full story of the difficulties in the lives of the poor today.

In the teaser, a fully armed Kwok Fu Sing performed seriously with his buck teeth look and funny expressions to break through the impression of his past performances. Hired robbers Siu Chai and Ka Tung not only had to win the trust of their leader Sing Sing, but also had to have guts. From the start they already had to know how to shoot a gun and toss hand grenades. Siu Chai toughed it out, threw a hand grenade in a panic, and even had to follow the "professional armed robbery" guide. Thoroughly displaying the character's humor, Sing Sing ordered his employees to be polite even as robbers. Sing Sing said, "I hired you to rob, say thank you!" Although they were only robbers, they still had to kiss up to their robber superior. Two hired robbers more or less had to "sing the praises" of their boss. The trio cooked up an intriguing and oddball robbery.
