Mainland star Liu Ye, Qi Qi, Kelvin Kwan Chor Yiu, Wyman Wong Wai Man and the long missed Michelle Saram two nights ago attended a DFS global duty free group 50th anniversary celebration at the old Kai Tak airport. Liu Ye has been busy with the film FOUNDING OF A PARTY. He appreciated compliments that he played a very convincing Mao Zedong and felt that the film boss and company were very daring in casting him. Because the film also starred Chow Yun Fat, Andy Lau Tak Wa, Zhao Benshan and other actors, he felt some pressure.

Liu Ye's wife recently gave birth to their son in France. The new father wanted to cry every time he talked about his son. While parents wanted their children to be by their sides, FOUDNING was still two months away from completion. Thus his son still was in France.

Michelle Saram attended with her husband and mother in law. The newlywed revealed that she has been working with her husband on the food and hotel business. They would frequent Japan, Singapore and Sri Lanka and was rarely in Hong Kong. She also honestly said that she still had
the acting bug and would make any suitable work. Her husband has also been very supportive of her.
