Chow Yun Fat, Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga), Eason Chan Yik Shun, and Tang Wei starred OFFICE (WA LAI SEUNG BAN JOOK) will officially open on September 24. People look forward to the heavyweight team of Fat Gor and Cheung Ngai Ga atop the office pyramid the most, yet they were also the "most dangerous" and the "least reliable" superior. Fat Gor said about his role, "In real life I absolutely can't do it because I definitely am not merciless enough."

As for Chan Yik Shun and Tang Wei they played ordinary working class, which was a first for Tang Wei. However she understood her character very well. "She only looks elegant on the surface, as she is helplessly dragged into the office power struggle." Chan Yik Shun said that after playing this character its influence on "Chan Yik Shun" himself was enormous. "I would often think what is life, what is existence. In order to live and to exist do I have to make certain choices?"

Director Yip's romantic film series have entered into tenth year. Stephy said, "The production has begun, we worked for a day. (With David Siu Chung Hang and Rachel Lee Lai Chun?) Yes, they play my parents. This pairing is pretty fresh. I have such a pretty Mommy, soon I will work with her. I am pretty nervous."

Stephy revealed that Siu Chung Hang will play a bad father. Is he a drunk in the film? Stephy said, "Similar, I believe it's be pretty fun."

The Carrie Ng Ka Lai directed film KNOCK KNOCK WHO'S THERE? (YAU HAT DOH) will open soon. Earlier she and one of the lead actresses Kate Tsui Tsz Shan were interviewed. Why did she direct a ghost film? She said, "I want something unexpected. Actually the film has three stories with love, family and friendship, they are only packaged with ghost stories."

Actually Sister Ka Lai was also afraid of ghost, but the more afraid some people were of something the more they wanted to do it. She said, "Actually the shoot wasn't scary at all because the set had many workers. Post production was constantly in a room without any light, but still workers were on hand so I wasn't scared either. The most afraid was when I went to the bathroom by myself." In the film, she invited Tsz Shan to play one of the stories are retribution. She hoped that no one would randomly catch stray cats to abuse. As a veteran actress with decades of acting, Sister Ka Lai had no difficulty with directing. Because she knew a lot, she could easily resolve problems. Yet for some post production work that actors did not need to be in touch with like editing, she had to put in more effort. Will she direct again? She admitted that she will.

Tsz Shan in the film played a girl who worked with joss paper offering, thus she had to learn the trade. She said, "I had several hours of lessons, then I took the sticks, paper and paste home to practice. Mommy said that it was bad luck." Tsz Shan also said that the director gave her a lot of challenges this time. Everyday at work she would show her videos then asked her to learn from them for the shoot that evening. She said, "Because a cat possesses me, I had to hold a cat and sing and I had to learn to dance like a cat. I don't have a cat, so I have to watch it online and start with the costume fitting. The director tried to arrange for me to spend more time with the cat. (You have a dance background, so it shouldn't be hard for me.) I don't dance as frequently now, this time I barely passed! In a few years it would be hard to say."

Tsz Shan in one scene had to digest a mouse. Although it was a frozen mouse she was still very scared. She even cried as she worked on the scene and stated that there will not be a next time. She said, "I am more afraid of mice than ghosts because I had a childhood trauma with mice. When I was little Mommy took me outside, I almost stepped on a mouse that a car ran over. Its corpse scarred me."

The Eddie Cheung Siu Fai and Xu Jiao starred new film STRANGE HOUSE revolves around the ancient art of seance. The location of the film was an old house with several hundred years of history, the Shanxi Huang Cheng Xiang Fu that had many mysterious stories itself. Although it was a famous tourist attraction, Cheung Siu Fai joked that he felt the chills during the shoot.

Speaking of his two horror films being released in a row in the Mainland, Cheung Siu Fai joked that he did not "quit the police to join the ghost". He admitted he took the role because of the script. "TWILIGHT ONLINE's director (Maggie) To Yuk Ching tailored this script for me. Although my character was still a cop, he had schizophrenia. I have never played that role so I was attracted. (Danny) Pang Fat couldn't be any better with horror films. We once made a promise to work together on a thriller for a challenge. STRANGE HOUSE fulfilled my dream."

Aaron Kwok Fu Sing earlier with the film PORT OF CALL (DAP HUET CHUM MUI) won the New York Asian Film Festival Star Asia honor. The film also won Best at the Bucheon International Fantastical Film Festival Best Feature of Bucheon, Best Actress for its new actors Jessie Li (Chun Xia) and Best Actor Special Mention for Michael Ning (Pak Chi). Chun Xia and Pak Chi two nights ago along with director Philip Yung Chi Kwong and other actors Patrick Tam Yiu Man, Elaine Jin (Kam Yin Ling), Harriet Yeung Sze Man and Jacky Cai Jie attended the celebration. Sing Sing was unable to attend due to work.

The fresh out of the oven Bucheon Best Actress Chun Xia admitted that she has never thought about winning an award with her first film. In the film she played an escort and had intimate scenes with Pak Chi and Don Li Yat Long. She even had a full frontal nude performance. She said, "At first I would feel embarrassed, but everyone was very professional. Later I didn't feel like that anymore." Did she have more film offers after the award? Chun Xiao admitted that they were in negotiation. In the film she had no scene with Sing Sing, but they ran into each other on the set. She praised Sing Sing for being a very nice guy. "You would think a Heavenly King would be standoffish and cold, but he would chat and joke around with others. He also knew how to take care of people. (Did he ask you for your number?) Of course not."

Ronald Cheng says that this scene is just like working on an wuxia film

courtesy of on.cc

Ronald Cheng Chung Kei and Mark Wu Yiu Fai in the new film UNDERCOVER DUET (MAN LUNG DUT GWING) used every trick in the book for laughs. In one scene, Ronald had to feed medicine to Wu Yiu Fai by spitting it directing into his mouth. Ronald joked that this scene was just like a wuxia film. "In wuxia films often a friend would be poisoned and faint, then you had to chew up the medicine to feed it to him. This scene is just like that!"

Ronald said that the most difficult part of this scene was how precise he had to be with the spitting, otherwise a bad take would be very troublesome. Ronald said, "Before the shoot I was pretty anxious. (Did you ask your wife to help with the spot?) No, instead I used a paper cup to practice. I was afraid that I would miss, then I would have to do it again. However, during rehearsal I nailed it every time, but during the actual shoot I had to shoot it twice. With the second time I couldn't miss because before I had a big pile of lines to deliver. I couldn't have another bad take. I was afraid that Wan Kwong couldn't hold back his laughter, so I had to nail it in one shot."

Wu Yiu Fai praised Ronald's oral skills afterward. Working with him for the first time, he felt that he was a great actor. Their collaboration was rather pleasant.

In the film I lied to Shu Qi about the legend that if she threw a rock toward the Twin-Heart Fish Trap she would meet her Mr. Right, which she believed was true." In real life, Siu Chai said that he was a "swindler" too. "I always promise my family or fans that I would meet with them and go on vacation with them, but because of work I have never fulfilled that and I swindled them." He admitted that his children would complain sometimes, but earlier he already took them to Taiwan to visit Grandpa and they had a lot of fun. IN addition, Siu Chai played music with his mobile phone for Gau Hung and the actresses from the film could perform a hilarious rendition of THE MOSQUITO SONG.

Kate Tsui Tsz Shan in the new film KNOCK KNOCK WHO'S THERE? (YAU HAT DOH) turned into a cat in order to get revenge from people who took away her cat like Carrie Ng Ka Lai. The black cat possessed her danced in the narrow joss paper offering store. With her dance background Tsz Shan easily performed a split, but she suffered for her cat eye look. The Eddie Peng Yu-Yan starred, Dante Lam Chiu Yin directed Emperor new film TO THE FORE (POR FUNG) will open soon. Recently Eddie as the first Greater Chinese region good will ambassador in its 112 year history attended the 2015 Tour de France finals in the Paris with the French sports minister, Tour de France director Christian Prudhomme and veteran film star Christopher Lambert and watched the race in the VIP area.

The host introduced Eddie's film TO to the audience in French. The chief publicly invited him to shoot there for the sequel. Eddie said, "I hope this film will perform well, then I will be able to come to Paris 'TO THE FORE' with Director Lam."

Actually the effort that Eddie contributed to the film was indescribable. Before the shoot he spent 11 hours a day to train, leaving a lot of "bicycle marks" all over his body. He rather enjoyed it. "Right I already have a bicycle, when I have time I would ride it for practice. If I have a chance I can to compete in an amateur race."

While shooting TO in Italy, Eddie was fortunate to run into world champion Rui Costa. Actually this scene was attentively arranged. After several negotiations Eddie and Choi Si-Won were permitted to be in the first two kilometers of a world class race. After the shoot they left the course to avoid affecting cyclists who were reserving their strength to accelerate. After the shoot Director Lam was very excited. Eddie did not dare to believe that it was real.

In addition, Eddie's TO THE FORE "cycling look" became the target of parody as many stars like Maggie Cheung Man Yuk, Huang Xiaoming, Kwai Lun-Mei were on the back of his bike in their classic film costumes. The photoshopped photos cracked up many.

Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai)'s writing and directing debut film ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE (LOK PAU BA OI CHING) will open in Hong Kong in September. The inspiration for the film came from an old song GRANDMOTHER'S PENGHU BAY. Siu Chai yesterday played tour guide in Taipei to almost 100 visiting members of the media from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia and took them the "luxury" home in the film.

Siu Chai took his friend Lu Kung-Wei (Gau Hung) and the sisters from the film. He even played a guitarist as he played songs for everyone to dance to. Siu Chai said that he spent the last few days in Penghu for the promotional special. Everyday he went to the sea to look at corals and almost fainted from being in the sun; he also said that Shu Qi spent half a month to help him with his film and got very tanned. He felt bad and wanted to give some whitening product to her.

Siu Chai felt that his directing debut was very tough, especially in Penghu when he had to accommodate the shipping schedule and the tides. However he enjoyed the entire process very much. Siu Chai said that the people of Penghu were very friendly. During the shoot the locals gave him seafood; he said that the place was known for cuttlefish, sea urchin and spanner crabs. He almost got a nosebleed from all the eating that he did. In addition, the film yesterday held a screening. The Penghu authorities immediately announced that Siu Chai and Shu Qi to be "honorary residents", much to the surprise of Siu Chai.
