The film DRIFTING (SHOOK SHUI PIU LAU) two nights ago held
a charity premiere. One of its stars Loletta Lee Lai Chun suffered quite
a setback after losing both parents one after another. Two nights ago she
was absent due to family matter. Fellow star Chu Pak Hong worried about
her condition and hoped that she would have ample rest and take care of
herself emotionally. Co-star Cecilia Choi Sze Wan wished that Lee Lai
Chun would take care of her health, get well soon and sent her
condolences.
Chu Pak Hong disappeared for awhile during the interview.
Actually due to low blood sugar he had to walk away and have a snack.
Speaking of the government's consideration to keep non vaccinated viewers
from cinemas as a fifth wave prevention, Chu Pak Hong believed that it
would affect the box office a little, but vaccination could not be
forced. It would depend on the general public's will. He felt everyone
should just go with their hearts. Choi Sze Wan said that the pandemic
affected the entire world, she could only hope that it would improve.
The film that she originally would have to fly to Taiwan for has been
postponed due to the pandemic there.
