17-year-old sophomore Xiang Wei-xin sees food as the most healing and important thing in life. That's how she meets Tao You-quan: in the convenience store on campus.
When Xiang Wei-xin needs five more bucks to pay for her favorite pineapple bun, Tao You-quan chips in and saves her day. The next day, she witnesses a breakup scene by the pool in school, and it turns out to be You-quan and his cheating girlfriend who refuses to let go. Wei-xin comes up with an idea and uses her best friend/campus belle Fang Qi-ran as an excuse to intervene, ending their relationship. To her, she's returning the favor by helping out.
Since that day, Qi-ran’s been receiving two breakfasts, a wooing gesture from two guys. Qi-ran is not interested and gives them to her foodie best friend Wei-xin so they don't go to waste. Wei-xin is strapped for cash, and to be able to eat to her heart’s content every day is more than satisfying. Meanwhile, Zhang Yuan-shuo, the president of Guitar Club, uses free milk tea to get Wei-xin to say yes to do a solo show on the school's anniversary. There is only one catch: she can't really play guitar. In a chance encounter on the rooftop, You-quan offers to teach her guitar; therefore to Wei-xin, it doesn't seem like that much of a daunting challenge anymore...
Like most 17-year-old girls, Wei-xin imagines all kinds of scenarios in her future life, and You-quan, Qi-ran and Yuan-shuo do too. At the beginning of the story, they never expect so much can happen in a year and that there will be all kinds of hurdles in life...
The good news is that they eventually find the answers on their way to adulthood.

Moses Chan shows off the bandage his daughter puts on him
Roger Kwok has been accused of being rude when he surprises Moses Chan and pulls his mask down
Adam Pak and Ron Ng courtesy of mingpao.com
Moses Chan Ho, Ron Ng Cheuk Hei, Adam Pak Tin Nam, Kenny
Wong Tak Bun and others two nights ago attended their film BREAKOUT
BROTHERS 3 (TOH YUK HING DAI 3) premiere, but Chan Ho had a cartoon
bandage on the back of his right hand. He smiled and said, "When my
daughter closed the car door for me, she closed it too soon and hurt
me. I saw how guilty she felt. She almost wanted to cry, and
immediately brought me a band aid for the wound. I told her that I
had to shower and clean the wound before I could treat it. My
daughter then waited all night before being able to put the band aid
on me. It also is a band aid of love, the sweetness of which reached
my heart. When I said her was about to cry I comforted her and said,
'Papa is fine'. (The daughter takes more to you?) Everyone does, all
three have different personalities but they all are my angels."
Highly conscious of pandemic prevention, Chan Ho has never been
without a mask. Earlier Roger Kwok Chun On pulled down his mask by
force, which the internet blasted as impolite. Chan Ho said, "Don't
yell at him. It was a friendly gesture from him, it was no ill
intent. We became friends while working on BIG WHITE DUEL II. No
one wore a mask during the interview, he didn't want to me to wear a
mask in front of the audience. It's very minor. On Jai and I are good
friends, that moment was only a little sudden. It wasn't awkward at
all. If I minded at the time I would immediately put the mask back
on." As the pandemic eased, Chan Ho that night also removed his mask
for media photos. However he maintained social distance. At home he
still would wear a mask to sleep. Ultimately he felt that at work he
would come in contact with many people, safety came first.
Chan Ho in BREAKOUT played a prison warrant. Without any
action scene, the role was more comfortable. He also forgot how long
ago was his previous movie. He said, "Prison film is a classic Hong
Kong subject, which reminded me of (Roy) Cheung Yiu Yeung. The one I
played was different, a mild mannered and straight laced prison
warrant. I hope it would make a special impression to everyone."
Ng Cheuk Hei and Pak Tin Nam spoke to the media together. Ng
Cheuk Hei said that the BREAKOUT 3 tightly followed the sequel's
release because the fifth wave of the pandemic delayed the sequel
release. The third film was released as scheduled so the release
dates were closer. It also enabled viewers to watch them all at once.
Ng Cheuk Hei had more fight scenes with Wong Cheung Hing, instead he
had no fight scene with Pak Tin Nam. He joked, "I like to fight with
good fighters, perhaps they are afraid I would kill him?" Pak Tin Nam
praised Ng Cheuk Hei for his professional fighting. "In one scene he
punched me, I felt very comfortable as all I felt was a breeze. I
asked him to really hit, but he said that not every punch had to land.
As long as we got the feeling and the reaction then we were fine." Ng
Cheuk Hei said that it was only a movie, he would try not to hurt
others if possibly. However he has accidentally injured his co-stars.
He also felt that punches and kicks were easier to control, but
weapons were harder to grasp.
Speaking of TVB, ViuTV and Hong Kong Open Television all
releasing major series at the same time and starting a television
close combat battle, Ng Cheuk Hei felt that it was a good thing. The
audience has been bored for too long. He recalled THE BUND's hit
series era as it became the water cooler talk for viewers. Which side
would he support? He said, "I would support the entire show
business, television and film industries, because a movie or a series
need hard work from many people to be able to be created." With a
role in the ViuTV series INEVITABLE, was Pak Tin Nam confident about
"winning in the end"?" He said, "Many people participated and
performed, even if I wasn't confident in myself, I had confidence in
other actors and directors. So the confidence would come from them."
MIRROR's Anson Kong just finished his television
series. Aside from preparing to his group's concert in July, recently
he also announced that he took a movie role. He would work on the Hong
Kong horror film BACK HOME (CHUT YUET FAN GWAI) with Chinese American
star Bai Ling! The film would be new director Tse Ka Kei's first
feature film. Last year it was selected for Udine Far East Film
Festival Focus Asia section.

Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Cya Liu two nights ago
appeared at Central's Pier 9, the open space opposite the ferris wheel
to shoot the Herman Yau Lai To directed action production HOI GUAN JIN
SIN (CUSTOMS FRONT LINE).
Due to the scale of the production, police vehicles, fire
trucks, ambulances and customs vehicles were on hand with over 100
extras. In the story Ting Fung in order to catch the culprit suffered
a back injury. He took off his shirt for emergency medical
treatment and showed off his perfect physique.

Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, Ronald Cheng Chung Kei, Edan Lui
Cheuk On and others yesterday attended the film CHILLI LAUGH STORY
(HOP GA LAT)'s tram parade launch ceremony and attracted over a
thousand fans. During the parade, they often waved to the pedestrians.
When other trams passed by them, their passengers waved to them. Some
fans even jaywalked and forced their way onto the streets to take
photos. Originally the tram parade would end at Causeway Bay, but due
to the numerous onlookers, in the end the event changed the final
stop to be the Happy Valley terminal.
Yesterday Kwan Yu's husband Peter Chan Ho Sun also brought
their daughter to show their support. The police were on hand for the
road blocks and keeping order. When the tram left the garage, fans
shrieked. Due to the fifth wave of the pandemic, CHILLI LAUGH STORY
went to the Lunar New Year to the summer vacation slot. Kwan Yu said
that she was very happy that the film would finally be released. She
never imagined that the world would be this crazy. She joked that
after decades of making Lunar New Year films, this would be the first
to be released in the summer. Although the summer would be full of
blockbusters, Kwan Yu pointed out that the strongest would be CHILLI.
"We have Chung Kei and Edan, how can we lose. (How much would you
predict it would make?) Several hundred million, if it would be a big
hit I would treat everyone to a trip to Japan! This was a pure Hong
Kong film, with government assistance. Many people gave discounts on
their salaries." Cheng Chung Kei joked that he made the most, so he
was confident that CHILLI would make a lot.
Earlier due to the pandemic summer vacation started early.
Kwan Yu revealed that their family of three went to Thailand to visit
family and vacation for two months. They took a chance to relax.
Chung Kei also hoped that he would be able to take his family of four
to Japan for a vacation, but he would not want to go with a tour. "I
went with a tour before, I couldn't get up. It felt like I was b
being dragged around." He also said that after finishing his new film
OVER MY DEAD BODY (SEI SI SEI SI SEI SUP SEI) he would prepare for his
year end Taiwan concert. First he would need to lose the belly then
train his muscles.
Edan said that he has not attended a public event in a very
long time. Originally he worried about rain, but luckily they had a
good start. He also said that after finishing his new film he would
prepare for the MIRROR concert in July. He even revealed that Kwan Yu
asked for 100 concert tickets, but he did not know how much he would
get yet. Kwan Yu said that she knew Edan and Jer (Lau Ying Ting) of
MIRROR's 12 members. If each got her 100 tickets she would have 200.
She even pointed out that she has already joined the official fan
club and joked that she would become the big MIRROR concert ticket
client.

Aaron Kwok Fu Sing's manager Siu Mei (Leung Mei Mei)'s
father Leung Kwai Wing past away on April 26th. His family began
services for him yesterday at the Hong Kong Funeral Parlor with a
Taoist ceremony. Today after the funeral the remains would be
transported to the Cape Collinson Crematorium. Yesterday those
paying their respect included Kwok Fu Sing, Emperor boss Albert Yeung
Sau Sing, TVB executive Ho Lai Chuen and his wife, choreographer Sunny
Wong. Many in the industry also sent floral arrangements, including
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Ku Kui Ke, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Cheung Chi Lam, Mr. and
Mrs. Shum Ka Wai, Charlie Yeung Choi Nei, Irene Wan Bik Ha, Vivian Lai
Shui Yan, directors Teddy Chan Tak Sum and Soi Cheang Pou Soi.
Siu Mei and her family were on hand early at the altar.
Dressed in black Siu Mei later went downstairs for interviews. With
red eyes and tissue in hand she was sorrowful, holding back her tears
as she said that due to the pandemic the funeral could not be a big
event. However they were still doing Taoist ceremonies, something for
Papa.
She revealed that Papa played a very important role in the
promotion of basketball. She still missed Papa since his passing and
also praised how great he was. Siu Mei said, "Papa with Heaven, Earth
and People would have been 100, a century of life was very glorious.
When Papa passed he was very peaceful, like he was in deep sleep.
However this time Papa's passing was somewhat sudden, mainly it was
from elderly deterioration. Last month on the 25th, Papa suddenly was
unconscious and we panicked. We immediately rushed him to the
emergency room. When we arrived (at the hospital his condition) was
already not too ideal. As children of course we hoped that Papa would
improve, but after treatment, at night we received a call from the
hospital that Papa's condition wasn't ideal. The family rushed to the
hospital and all three sisters were able to see Papa off on his final
journey, until Papa's final second." Did her father have any wish to
fulfill? Siu Mei said, "He achieved them, Papa told me to live hard,
I have worked very hard in this aspect. Papa also was able to see
Older sister's children graduate from universities, so he went very
peaceful. Canada's grandchildren and relatives, after numerous
miles and obstacles, after finishing their quarantine were able to
attend the funeral."
Around 6:50 PM, Kwok Fu Sing and his wife Moka Fang arrived in
a vehicle with another with his daughters, his mother in law and a
domestic assistant following tightly. In a black suit Sing Sing did
not stop after arriving and looked solemn. Originally Moka Fang
wanted to pick up their daughters after getting off the vehicle, but
due to the chaotic scene Sing Sing immediately walked up to protect
his family. The domestic assistant carried the older daughter while
Grandpa carried the younger one. The party under the escort of six
staff members' protection went straight to first floor.
Sing Sing later spoke to the media. He said that Siu Mei's
Papa watched him grew up. Normally he would call him "Uncle Leung".
As everyone knew Uncle Leung was well respected in the basketball
world. He also recalled that on holidays he would go and dine at
Uncle Leung's home. Each time he saw him he would feel very intimate,
gentle and warm, always full of smiles for the younger generations.
Sing Sing also revealed that today he would attend the funeral and be
one of the pallbearers.

The film DON'T FORGET I LOVE YOU two nights ago held
its Hong Kong premiere. Although due to the pandemic the leads were
unable to come and promote in Hong Kong, investor Daneil Lam Siu Ming,
director Barbara Wong Chun Chun attended as well as artist friends
like Stephanie Cheng Yung, Shiga Lin, Alex Lam Tak Shun, Adam Pak Tin
Nam and Pierre Ngo Ka Nin. Shiga Lin admitted that she really liked
Jasper Liu and even joined the star chasers. Not only did she pay
attention to her idol's whereabouts, once because she learned that he
was staying at the same hotel she got very excited and went to go
over and pretend to "run into" him.
;Lam Tak Shun came to support director Wong Chun Chun. He
was invited to attend the premiere due to his father George Lam Chi
Cheung he and the director have known each other. Lam Tak Shun said
that he only found out many friends also came after arriving. Now
that food was permitted at the movies, he also bought a big bag of
popcorn to enjoy. Lam Tak Shun early in the year worked on a film
that would commemorate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong Hand Over,
LOOK UP (YUT YEUNG DIK TING HUNG). It would open on June 23th. His
segment in the film recorded 4 songs, which have already been
released and could be heard over the past few days. Among them was his
Cantonese Opera Hip Hop duet with Michelle Yim (Mai Suet). He praised
Sister Mai Suet for her precise performance. The song's mixture of
Chinese and Western styles was very refreshing.

Tak Siu yesterday attended the film DUK SIT DAI JONG (POISON TONGUED
LAWYER)'s production start ceremony in Fan Lan. Director Ng Wai Lun
described the story to be about a jerk against a group of upper class
scum. He handed the jerk to Tze Wa to play because Wong has not been
seen scolding and jabbing at people in a very long time. Tze Wa said,
"I hope to have good box office!"
Tze Wa said that in the film he would play a judge and a
lawyer. He would yell at people, make fun and battle brains and
brawn. Would he improvise at anytime? He said, "No, the director is
also the screenwriter. Earlier he wrote UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN). This
story is also very well written, with drama galore. After I took the
role, I spent two years to scam the script. It is highly difficult."
would he have any action scene in the film? He joked, "This I have
avoid a little, the level of upheaval in the drama is already
enormous."
Wong Dan Nei said that she was excited to be working with Tze
Wa and many elders. She wanted to take advantage of the chance to
learn from Tze Wa. Tze Wa also gave a funny tip. "Take one step at
a time, when the boat docks it will naturally be straight." Wong Dan
Nei and Liew Chi Yu last time played sisters in ANITA. This time they
again would have scenes together, and would have a love hate
relationship. Liew Chi Yu believed the performance would be a lot of
fun.
Yeung Sze Wing in the film would play law partners with Tze
Wa and Ah Dee. For the dialogue and legal terms, she would need to do
a lot of homework so she appeared nervous. She said, "Tze Wa and
Ah Dee have quick wit, with them I am afraid I wouldn't be able to
follow. Luckily we constantly see each other lately at table reads.
(Would you be worried that Ah Dee would play tricks on you?) I
instead would look forward to him taking care of the catering. The
last time we worked together, his assistance team brought a lot of
delicacies for us to enjoy."
Ah Dee pointed out that his character would carry the comedy
load, but Tsz Wa himself was extremely charming so he would need to do
his share. "I would have to coordinate, I couldn't steal the
spotlight excessively. I would have to consider how to work with
other actors and set off spark." Pak Tin Nam said that his Chinese
was not great, so he felt pressure from working opposite Ah Dee and
Yeung Sze Wing and had to do all of his homework too.
