Michelle Wai Sze Nga and Wong Yau Nam starred in the film TALES FROM THE OCCULT: BODY AND SOUL (SUT HUNG HUNG GAN ji JUI YU SAT)'s segment RAPUNZEL (TAU FAT). With her beautiful hair, Wai Sze Nga played a girl group member who was being stalked by the deranged hairstylist Yau Nam. In the film she had to be tied up, chased and screamed with all her might. During the shoot the on set atmosphere even scared the crew. Even Yau Nam praised how tough she was.

Having made many horror films, Wai Sze Nga has never had any trauma. Actually she had a therapy that was filled with childlike innocence for her soul. She said, "As soon as I finish a stressful scene, I would go home and watch cartoon. Some people say cartoon has therapeutic power, I don't know if it's true or not; but I rely on this to recover." Playing a deranged character for the first time, Yau Nam spent a month in advance to study hair washing and cutting technique from a hairstylist. During the shoot he even played the "hair wash boy" and washed Wai Sze Nga's hair. "I have never played such an extreme character, both the director and I agree on an image change. This time I want everyone to see a Yan Nam no one has seen before."

Wai Sze Nga was asked whether she hoped to find a breakthrough in her career? She said, "I have always been breaking through, now instead I wouldn't deliberately think about what I want to do. I used to really want to try new things; now even if the character is very similar to before, I would be very excited. I would think about how I could break through with the limited space. The only thing I want to try is a play or a silent drama. My shortcoming is body language, so I want to study in this area."

Karena Lam Ka Yun returned to a horror film after many years, playing a nurse in the film TALES OF THE OCCULT: BODY AND SOUL (SUT HUNG HUNG GAN ji JUI YU SAT)'s segment TOOTH FAIRY with tis share of bloody violent scenes. She challenged a S and M bed scene, not only wrapping her co-star Kelvin's head in a plastic bag but also choking him and chaining him to the bed. Before the shoot began, Ka Yun saw the topless Kelvin and joked, "I want to kill you, your figure is much better than mine. I am very mad."

After the passion, Ka Yun admitted that she was nervous about her first S and M scene. "I was very worried, Kelvin's hands and necks were only belted and his head was in a plastic bag. Playing scenes like these I have to use real force to look the part. If the belts were loose it wouldn't look good. Everything had to be precise, I tried to get it in one take as much as possible to keep my co-star from having a tough time." Each time the director yelled cut, Ka Yun immediately untied Kelvin and asked how he was. "Everyone understood that making this scene would be tough, but safety is the most important."

Famous Hong Kong image director Nelson Cheung Hok Yun's suicide rocked the entertainment scene. Nel Nel's good friend Candy Law Lan at an event clarified on behalf of Nel Nel's family and that the incident was caused by depression and not financial distress.

Ali Lee Kai Sum, Law Lam, Sharon Luk Sze Wan, Chan Kwan Yi and Liz Kong Hei Man yesterday attended a beauty center flagship store opening. After the ceremony, Law Lam got choked while talking about Nel Nel. She had to duck away to recover from her emotions before she was able to continue her interview.

Law Lam said that a hour before attending the event, she received a call from Nel Nel's family. They asked her to clarify that Nel Nel was not in financial trouble, but he had depression. They hoped the related report videos could be removed. They did not want the family and Nel Nel to be blamed. Law Lam recalled the company dinner with Nel Nel in Shenzhen earlier (the 17th), he seemed to be down but at the time she thought that he was just tired from just finishing a 6 hour live stream. Thinking back, over the past few days she already sensed that Nel Nel was very tired and much thinner. Reportedly someone skipped out on paying Nel Nel. Law Lam said that that might be a possibility but she was not certain. However it definitely would not be at this company. Because she and Nel Nel were at the same company, she knew that Nel Nel and the company's account was in 6 figures. His family would donate the entire sum after the company's commission to charity. As for funeral arrangement, Law Lam revealed that Nel Nel's family has already arrived in Shenzhen and would discuss whether to transport the remains to Hong Kong or to have it cremated first.

Famous Hong Kong image director and fashion designer Nelson Cheung Hok Yun two nights ago died in an apparent suicide at age 59 in the mainland. Because Nel Nel worked in show business for many years, he had connections with many artists. His friend over 30 years Maria Cordero contacted his family as soon as she heard the news. thus before the coroner arrived, she already knew. Fat Ma was so heartbroken that she had difficulty sleeping; many artists also remembered him online.

Fat Ma responded around 4AM because she was in such sorrow that she had difficulty sleeping. "In the past year I haven't seen him. Earlier he made a lot of money on my platform, then he went to Shenzhen as he wanted to have his own platform. I was happy for him and thought that he really did well. I was busy with my own work. In addition lately with the restrictions lifted I have been able to perform on tour. I couldn't be busier. I never thought that my first call was to find his family......it's very hard to settle down. Last night I really got too many calls. I took sleeping pills to sleep, but woke up after awhile. No matter how big the trouble was he still had Ma, for over 30 years if he had any problem he would call me first. I would immediately resolve it with him, and think of ways to find work for him. I thought he was doing very well. In the past year I thought he was doing very well, didn't need my help, so I spent time to help other people. I truly am very, very heartbroken. 30 years haven't been a short time.....may he have safe journey! My condolences to his family."

Cheung Hok Yun's final public appearance was on Tuesday evening (the 16th) when he was a live online stream with Sharon Luk Sze Wan. Some said that at the time he was a little dazed and quiet. Luk Wan Sze said that behind the camera that day they chatted and he was very normal. He did not mention any trouble or unhappiness. He was a very happy person, so she still could not believe this to be true. Shirley Kwan Suk Yi and Cheung Hok Yun were close friends of 20 years. Her good friend's passing left her very shocked and heartbroken. He said that she and Cheung Hok Yun used to be great friends, in recent years they had fewer contact. He was happy and humorous, and very willing to help friends. She did not understand how he got to this place. When she remembered their happy memories, she was very saddened.

Candy Lo (Law Lam) was rumored to be Nel Nel's neighbor, and two days ago Law Lam was also the one who discovered Nel Nel was in trouble. Law Lam has known Nel Nel for over 30 years. He nominated her to compete in Miss Asia. He also introduced her to the live stream company she worked for in Shenzhen. Now that Nel Nel passed away, she was still upset. She responded to media in text message and clarified that actually Nel Nel's company colleague discovered Nel Nel was in distress and she was not his neighbor. "On the evening of the 17th I had dinner with him and a company colleague. Perhaps due to depression, the past few days he was more emotionally low. She never expected that something like this would happen on the evening of the 18th. She immediately rushed to the location to get an understanding, but it was truly too sudden. All of his family and friends who loved him felt very heartbroken and saddened! He was kind and happy to help others, he also only shared good news but not bad news. May he have a safe journey! RIP"

As for Nel Nel's friend Emily Kwan Bo Wai, after hearing the news she collapsed in tears. She later posted their photo on social media. "Love you forever! Already the fourth one this year, you have to be strong Nel, no need to be afraid anymore. See you soon, you are great!" Ruth Tsang (Lo Fu) and Nel Nel two years ago in April switched jobs to become salespeople. They sold goods at market stalls. Nel Nel at the time revealed that due to the pandemic his income was unstable. Ruth was very heartbroken to hear about Nel Nel and was speechless.

Chung Wai Bing remembered Nel Nel with their photo and mentioned that the last time they saw each other was over ten years ago at the Top Ten Chinese Gold Song Awards. "He maintained his gentle ways, 'Sister Bing' left and 'Sister Bing' right, he was tender and sweet as usual! he told me that now he lived in Shenzhen, which was convenient for his 'live stream' work. I even set up an appointment with him to work on some projects together on my platform program." Nel Nel also sent his regards to her daughter Lam Ching Lei. When he learned that she was a host too, he immediately said, "Huh, then let me go backstage and check out her make up!" This was the last thing he said to me! "Those words actually represented his personality, direct, generous, carefree, willing to contribute his effort at anytime, was all in heart and soul for friends!" Chung Wai Bing remembered working with Nel Nel on Cable Television for over 6 years. She never thought that he actually chose to contribute a "news" item in the end. Although she did not understand, she still wished him a safe journey, from now on may he live in a place that was full of "love"!

Tavia Yeung Sai Hiu (Yeung Yi) posted on social media, "Today I heard the news, I felt very sorry. When I officially met you, we were already working together on the I HAVE A DATE WITH SPRING musical. You were responsible for image design and play the role of Brother Pak Long." In her heart, Nel Nel liked to help people, take care of the younger generation and generous. "In our hearts you were so happy... farewell, Nel Nel, may you continue to be happy in another place. Have a safe journey......RIP." Yeung Yuk Mui shared many photos in remembrance. "Nel Nel everything are beautiful memories, from when I started in the business and met you at the beauty pageant to now I still don't dare to believe this is real. I admire your direct personality, honest, friendly, willing to help others. I wish you a safe journey, miss you always.....RIP!" courtesy of mingpao.com

Dick Liu Kai Ch's final film FATE (SAI SEUNG JI YAU BA BA HO) recently opened. Earlier a premiere was held. Uncle Chi's widow Chan Man Yi said that this was a movie that touched her and also would be able to touch the audience. The story was related to organ donation. In the film Uncle Chi and Chiu Sin Hang played father and son who were mad at each other. Hang Jia remembered working with Uncle Chi and said that he first Uncle Chi for the first time on the set. He rarely talked to him; in one silent father and son meal scene, during rehearsal, Uncle Chi was looking at his phone. Hang Jai at first felt that was very strange. In the film Uncle Chi was a taxi driver. Later Hang Ji realized that Uncle Chi on his phone installed a taxi dispatch app to get into character. He also used this way to bring Hang Jai into character, and made this silent meal scene much richer in emotions. This was a very professional and smart way to act, and he has learned from it. Hang Jai said that Uncle Chi after leaving the character was a great elder and took great care of the younger generations. Thus he was very thankful and happy to have a chance to work with him.

Hero Yuen Ching Fung also had memories from making this film. "Working with Uncle Chi was a shocking experience, from at first the feeling of seeing a giant to the process of working with him I discovered my shortcoming and nailed it right on the head. I remembered that after finishing the shoot, I had to spend 3 months to digest that disillusion because I experienced the difference in substance. Being able to rehearse with Uncle Chi felt very wonderful and fortunate!"
