Fama after 13 years earlier performed a concert in
Guangzhou, their largest scale performance in the mainland so far.
They prepared an all new set list and content and over 30 dancers for
the 9000 viewers. The first half of the show included a 60 minute
long medley. Fama arranged their old and new songs anew. C Kwan
said, "Singing 20 songs in 60 minutes, not one by one but in a nonstop
medley. It absolutely is in Cantonese hip hop history the longest
live medley." 6 Wing joked, "Lam Gor (George Lam Chi Cheung) had a
song called 10' 12", our song could be called 60' 20", with multiple
inches more than him."
The second half of the concert was stand up comedy. Fama
revealed that they starred in two movies. The first day was completed
in 7 days, but the boss in the end decided against releasing it. They
said, "The director shot as he watched, in the end he decided to
change the ending a little. He felt that we should be the final boss,
and we had to use all of our strength to fight a frail girl to a
tie. We didn't feel it was very reasonable, maybe the boss in the end
felt that way too so decided that not releasing it was the most
reasonable."
Then they shared their second experience as the film leads.
On the second day of the shoot, the set caught fire accidentally and
ended the shoot. Some of the crew went to court with the film
company because they did not receive their pay. 6 Wing and C Kwan
said that they have never truly been film leads, but they met many good
elders in the industry. They were able to work with Stephen Chow Sing
Chi and became friends with Dayo Wong Tze Wa, so they were happy.

Michelle Wai Sze Nga and Wong Yau Nam participated in
the film TALES FROM THE OCCULT: BODY AND SOUL (SUT HUNG HUNG GAN ji
JUI YU SAT)'s segment RAPUNZEL (TAU FAT) and played respectively a girl
group member Maggie and a deranged hairstylist with a hair fetish. In
the story Wai Sze Nga's long and luxurious hair caught Yau Nam's
eyes and made him intend on killing her. Sze Nga in order to save her
own life began a life and death fight against him.
Sze Nga said, "It was either him or me, so we had many chase
scenes that would leave us completely drained. During the shoot when
I put a plastic bag over Yau Nam's head, it was dangerous. Before
hand I reminded him, if breathing became difficult he should slap my
tight as a signal. However Yau Nam toughed it out until the director
yelled cut. His face was all red and he was trying to catch his
breath. We almost took his life, which gave me quite a fright." Yau
Nam admitted that he was already on the edge of suffocation, but in
order to reach the director's demand of seeing blood vessels in the
eyeballs he could only use an unusual method. In order to shake off
his kid stench, he transitioned with this film. After discussions with
the director, he accepted Wong's suggestion. During the shoot he
let Wong slow down his performance rhythm and show his mature side.
Yau Nam praised Wai Sze Nga as being very professional. In one
scene he put her on a surgical table, tied up her limbs and then began.
Off camera, Sze Nga did not let her go as she continued to maintain
the state of fear. She did not ask for the crew to untie her.
"Seeing her sacrifice for art was very heartbreaking, her limbs were
all red and bruised from being tied up."
In real life, Sze Nga and Yau Nam both saw hair as their lives.
However the former said that if the character would require it, she
would be fine with shaving her head. Soon to 40, Yau Nam worried
about inheriting his father's hair loss issue. He spent a lot of
effort of keeping his hair and extending his hair's longevity. He
revealed that years ago he had to shave his head for a Qing Dynasty
costume in Shanghai. At the time he was concerned that under the
blazing sun, his scalp would be damaged and his hair would not grow
back. He bought a lot of hair care products. "For this character,
I went to be an apprentice at a hair salon. When I got home I still
kept practicing hair cutting and got hair all over the floor. Ma
yelled at me." Sze Nga admired that Yau Nam was attentive, when he
washed her hair he did not slack off. He even added a massage service.
Would Yau Nam pay attention to hair in choosing a girlfriend?
He denied that. "I like to look at girls' calves, feeling that they
should have beautiful curves; but when choosing a girlfriend I would
look at the calves. I would focus on substance. The most important
would be being kind and filial. If I would accept her, she could have
thick legs and a lot of hair and I wouldn't care." As for what Sze
Nga looked for in a mate, she said, "In this business I am used to
seeing pretty boys that I am numb, so when choosing the other half
appearance would not be important. The most important was inner
beauty. If we would be compatible, I can get married without wearing a
wedding gown."

The film TALES FROM THE OCCULT: BODY AND SOUL (SUT HUNG
HUNG GAN ji JUI YU SAT) two nights ago held its premiere. Actors
Michelle Wai Sze Nga, Wong Yau Nam, Cecilia Choi Sze Wan, Tony Wu Tsz
Tung, ANSONBEAN Chan Ngai Sun and Kevin Chu Kam Yin attended. Wai Sze
Nga earlier witnessed a horrible traffic accident. She also posted her
car cam video on social media. She admitted that she was still
shaken from this horrible scene, but the matter continued as she
suspected that she ran into swindlers. "After I shared the video,
someone from my social media platform kept sending private messages
and even called me. Of course I didn't pick up. The person again
left a message and claimed to be law enforcement that was
investigating this case and told me to pick up his call. However I
thought it was very strange." Wai Sze Nga in the end blocked the
other person's account, because she believed that law enforcement
would probably contact her directly like through the company. It
would not privately contact her.
Wong Yau Nam also said that around two years ago she ran into
a similar experience. He pointed out that one day I got a call from
a female cop, stating that three robbers after their crime passed by
his car and escaped. Because at the time they was already in
disguise and could not be easily detected, she asked him to watch his
car cam's video. "But very unfortunately, because it was already
several days later, the video was already deleted. I could only
respond sorry and I was unable to help her. She said it's OK, she
just asked him too late." However Yau Nam also said that when she
contacted him she already clearly identified her department and
case number. It was not a fraud.
In RAPUNZEL, the segment they starred in TALES, Yau Nam played
a hairstylist with a hair fetish. He admitted that he really liked the
script, and even had the same idea as the director as they both hoped
to be able to show viewers a different Wong Yau Nam. In addition two
or three years before he already wanted to transition and no longer
wanted to play kid roles. Thus he began to work out his body and watch
even more movies to increase his own value. "The Director and I both
really like the result this time." His co-star Wai Sze Nga agreed. "I
When I saw him on the set I was already very afraid. This time in the
film he would try to kill me, we would have many struggle scenes but
he is big. Thus on the set I would avoid him, on the set we didn't
say more than 5 sentences to each other." Yau Nam also returned the
compliment to Wai Sze Nga. "I have known Michelle for many years.
This was the first time we work together. I thought she was very
tough. She never used a double, she would personally perform each
scene."
Choi Sze Wan, ANSONBEAN and Chu Kam Yin in the segment
CHESHIRE CAT (MAU GIP) played cat volunteers. ANSONBEAN and Chu Kam
Yin in the film wanted to pursue Choi Sze Wan through cat volunteering.
ANSONBEAN even made his big screen debut. He joked that the only
relationship scene he had with Choi Sze Wan was jealousy. In the
future he would like to try playing a villain. Chu Kam Yin said that
TALES actually was not a horror film, but a romantic film. However
Choi Sze Wan lamented that unfortunately she and Chu Kam Yin did not
have any intimate scene. Chu Kam Yin joked, "Why didn't you mention
it earlier, it would have been great." Playing the villain, Wu Tsz
Tung said that playing a villain had a lot of room to perform.
Instead playing a good guy would be hard. He would like to try playing
a good guy once, so he would be able to give an outstanding
performance that would leave an impression with the audience.

Siu Chung yesterday along with executive producer and producer Lee Lam
Yan promoted FATE (SAI SEUNG JI YAU BA BA HO). This time was one of
the final films of the late Hong Kong Film Award Best Supporting Actor
Dick Liu Kai Chi. The story was about Uncle Chi and his only son Chung
Jai (Chiu Sin Hang)'s relationship, unfortunately his son passed away
in an accident. Uncle Chi played the pain of losing his son just
right, touching people's hearts with his excellent acting and sincere
emotions.
Ching Fung and Bo Pui Yu in the film had many scenes with
Uncle Chi. Ching Fung recalled the experience of working with Uncle
Chi and said that he was not pleased with his earliest performance in
the film. "I felt very fortunate to have worked with a giant like
Uncle Chi, which felt very awesome, wonderful and happy. Uncle Chi
didn't speak much, but once in a vehicle she asked me about what I
learned from the artist training class. At the time I thought Uncle
Chi was displeased with my performance, ultimately the training class
and the actual battle (acting) were different. Uncle Chi told him how
he would perform if it was him. At the time I was a little
frustrated, because if I knew I would have been able to do it instead
of having 3 months of breakdown over this. Later I understood that
Uncle Chi wanted me to use another angle to act and not to have another
Liu Kai Chi."
Bo Pui Yu said that in the first scene she already had to
shoot the pain of losing her son. She cried until she collapsed.
In addition working with the elder Uncle Chi was very stressful. She
once asked him for help, and Uncle Chi pointed out that the most
important was to be herself because she too had acting experience;
during the shoot Uncle Chi rarely spoke. He would keep studying the
character, which she benefit from as well. Speaking of her friend
Esther Wan Yue Hung passing away from cancer, she said that in the
past few years a group of friends has been by her side, chatting with
her and giving her massages. Because in the past few months she has
been in the hospital, her legs were swollen. Her tumor was very
malicious and kept growing in her abdomen like she was pregnant.
She could only sleep sitting up and could not lie down. She even had
several operations all in order to eat. A month and a half before she
had her last operation. Although she was able to take one bite of
food, she already took the doctor that she was very tired and no
longer wanted treatment. "Thus the doctor only gave her morphine for
the pain. She was a very strong fighter, now in Heaven she no longer
needed to suffer. Everyone wished her well and hoped to see her again
in Heaven."

The sky above Hong Kong is not just heavy with clouds and rain, it also contains astral signs and dark omens in this esoteric neo-noir. Michelle Wai Sze Nga and Wong Yau Nam starred in the
film TALES FROM THE OCCULT: BODY AND SOUL (SUT HUNG HUNG GAN ji JUI YU
SAT)'s segment RAPUNZEL (TAU FAT). With her beautiful hair, Wai Sze
Nga played a girl group member who was being stalked by the deranged
hairstylist Yau Nam. In the film she had to be tied up, chased and
screamed with all her might. During the shoot the on set
atmosphere even scared the crew. Even Yau Nam praised how tough she
was.
Having made many horror films, Wai Sze Nga has never had any
trauma. Actually she had a therapy that was filled with childlike
innocence for her soul. She said, "As soon as I finish a stressful
scene, I would go home and watch cartoon. Some people say cartoon has
therapeutic power, I don't know if it's true or not; but I rely on
this to recover." Playing a deranged character for the first time, Yau
Nam spent a month in advance to study hair washing and cutting
technique from a hairstylist. During the shoot he even played the
"hair wash boy" and washed Wai Sze Nga's hair. "I have never played
such an extreme character, both the director and I agree on an image
change. This time I want everyone to see a Yan Nam no one has seen
before."
Wai Sze Nga was asked whether she hoped to find a breakthrough
in her career? She said, "I have always been breaking through, now
instead I wouldn't deliberately think about what I want to do. I used
to really want to try new things; now even if the character is very
similar to before, I would be very excited. I would think about how I
could break through with the limited space. The only thing I want to
try is a play or a silent drama. My shortcoming is body language, so
I want to study in this area."
