    Demons unscrupulously run amuck everywhere, people are all scared and panic except Monk Tang, he fears no danger and determines to lead his three apprentice Sun Wu Kong, Zhu Ba Jie, and Sha Seng to get scriptures in the west for the sake of deliver all living creatures from torment, no matter if it risks their own lives. On their way when they pass by a small western country, the King has bad intentions, and there is also a powerful evil Bai Gu Jing who set up traps in order to catch Monk Tang and eat him. But Sun Wu Kong see through Bai Gu Jing’s tricks and subvert her plots which makes she hate Sun Wu Kong a lot. Bai Gu Jing set up a trap to make Monk Tong misunderstand Sun Wu Kong and throw him out. Sun Wu Kong is unconvinced at first but has been enlighten by the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy Guanyin, so that he decides to go back to Monk Tang and fight Bai Gu Jing but didn’t even know that Monk Tong has trapped and caught by Bai Gu Jing. Mong Tang’s life hangs by a thread, Sun Wu Kong rushes to save his master and start several fierce battles with the powerful Bai Gu Jing.

    Interpol arrest Ken and Mark as they find out the USD 15 billion dirty money of DOA has been deposited into their “secret” bank accounts. They suspect both Ken and Mark have embezzled the illicit money while pretending to assist in the investigation.

    Ken and Mark are then sent to jail, where they are attacked by some mysterious mercenaries. Luckily, Michael comes to their rescue in the nick of time with the help of Kitty, the cousin of Ko Chun and Long Wu Jr., the son of Long Wu.

    Ken’s head is injured, he wakes up to find himself at Michael’s home in Singapore. [2016.02.24] NICK CHEUNG BOASTS MORALE WITH MONEY

Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Louis Koo Tin Lok earlier went to Brazil for the film LINE WALKER (SI TOH HUNG JEH)'s location shoot. Although people worried about the spread of disease and crime there, the production so far has been very smooth. During the Lunar New Year Ka Fai and Goo Jai gave the crew lai see to "boast morale". Ka Fai earlier treated the team to Brazilian buffet out of his own pocket and had a pleasant evening. Goo Jai returned to Hong Kong first and today he will attend a film event with director Johnnie To Kei Fung.

[2016.02.24] GREGORY WONG LAMENTS THE FALL OF NEWSPAPER

THE MENU (DOH FOR SUN MUN SIN) film will open this summer. The television series team will return. "Fai Yeh" Gregory Wong Chung Hiu, "Fong Yi" Catherine Chau Ka Yi and "Ah Meh" Kate Yeung Kei with new addition Justin Cheung Kin Sing as the Gwing Pao executive will connect a series of stories.

The film's media background is very realistic. As the newspaper media is in its winter, Gwing Pao helplessly abandons the medium and begins a hit rate war with rival Flash News. Ng Man Tat in the film plays a lower class worker whose daughter's rape and murder leads him to begin a series of condemnation.

Yesterday the film company released THE MENU's first trailer. Fong Yi is promoted to the Gwing Pao chief editor post. Executive Cheung Kin Sing tells her that the newspaper medium will be done soon. Now they are at war with the entire world every second of every minute for hit rate. The dialogue is very fitting. Wong Chung Hiu says that he is watching the fall of the newspaper, in public places like the MTR fewer people are reading newspapers. Most are holding their mobile phones; however, he still supports the newspaper and feels it has a demand. Now the general climate is unclear and gradually is transitioning to new media, which the film will also mention.

[2016.02.24] JOSIE CHIU RETURNS TO CATEGORY III AS AN EXOTIC DANCE QUEEN

Josie Ho Chiu Yi won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Supporting Actress with her portrayal of the sexy "Chiu Long Long" in NAKED AMBITION (HO CHING). Earlier she worked on Singapore director Eric Khoo's category III film IN THE ROOM and played an exotic dance queen. She also taught students about women's secret weapon. IN THE ROOM will not open in Hong Kong until April. The film is a story that takes place in Room 27 of a hotel through different eras, different nationalities, people and events.

[2016.02.23] MICHELLE YEOH MAKES ZHANG ZIYI CLONE HER DISCIPLE

In the Yuen Woo Ping directed film CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON: SWORD OF DESTINY, Australian Natasha Liu Bordizzo played Snow Vase and was called the "counterfeit Zhang Ziyi". Michelle Yeoh (Yeung Chi King) earlier even made her her disciple.

The 21 year old Natasha Liu Bordizzo is an Australian of Chinese and Italian descend. she admitted that she felt like the she won first prize when she got the chance to perform after her audition. She has a Tae Kwon Do black belt and even caught Yeung Chi King's eyes as she made her her disciple. Earlier they had a disciple acceptance ceremony.

Yeung Chi King saw how hard she worked and how persistent she was on the set. Yeung Chi King even gave some advice to her disciple. "Whether you make action or dramatic films in the future, kung fu is still very important. You can keep fit and stay in shape when you keep training."

The Stephen Chow Sing Chi directed Lunar New Year film MERMAID (MEI YUN YU) made almost HK$ 43 million two days ago in Hong Kong and over 2.7 billion RMB in the Mainland. The performance broke MONSTER HUNT's record of 2.439 billion RMB last year and made the film the highest grossing in Mainland film history. With MERMAID's strong momentum, its total box office will likely pass 3 billion.

According to industry insiders, every film would have different bonus structure. In general if the film makes 1 billion RMB, over 600 million go to the cinemas and the remaining 300 million or so return to investors. Production, promotions are other costs are included in the number. MERMAID so far has made 2.7 billion. over 30% or 950 million go to investors. After all expenses and investor dividends, Chow Sing Chi will probably be able to pocket 600 million.

Yesterday Chow Sing Chi continued to promote. When asked when he would return to the screen, he said, "Currently I am very focused on the job of directing. As a director I act more than I did as an actor. The director plays every character big and small once for the cast, but my flame for acting has never been extinguished!"

Another Lunar New Year film THE MONKEY KING 2 (SAI YAU GEI ji SUEN NG HUNG SAM DA BAK GWUT JING) already broke HK$ 1.2 billion with the Mainland box office. No expense was spared on the costumes of the White Bone Spirit's three followers bat demon, snake demon and porcupine demon. The film company revealed that the special effect make up of the three demons cost more for each character than an ordinary film's budget.
